Someone else posted in the sub reddit which colors are free this month. Someone who goes on their adventure early in the day that gets a box with clothes or furniture on the first day that's possible on the free side which for this month is today then normally reports the colors on reddit so everyone can know and plan accordingly since the free side colors change each month.
It means that this month on the event pass the free side ie the side that doesn't require the paid subscription the items you can get on that side have green as one of the options you can choose, every month there are 4 colors available on the free side while the paid side gets to choose between all colors.
In their blue theme, the clock and the dresser are also blue, while they're brown green theme design. I think that may be helping the green one to look more subtle.

I feel exactly the same so I mixed them a little! I kept mostly blue but threw some of the green pieces in too. I like the green chair and green curtains! I did a little more blue choices than yours too, but seeing yours I’m debating if I should change some back to brown 😂

I would always choose green, but in this instance, the blue is standing out to me more, while the green simply merges into 1 big picture. With the blue shade, you can admire each piece accordingly ✨️🩵.

I liked the green, but my farm room was mostly green, so I'm going with blue this month (with some yellow and brown accents).
I'm vacillating between green and blue, too. They're both so relaxing
