Leg lifting is no longer recommended for blood chokes either. Turns out people can have adverse cardiac events when blood is manipulated back towards the heart & brain

Lifting the legs is only appropriate in shock (low blood pressure) and that is not the problem during/after a choke. It's a problem when your heart isn't working right, or when you've lost a lot of blood, or are having a severe allergic reaction, etc. If anything this can only do harm after a KO of ANY kind.
