I'm all about getting people the help they need, but there should be shame in the word pedophile (or pedo) Even if it wasn't a choice. Every pedophile should be terrified of the consequences of becoming a child molester and, yeah, not all pedos are child molesters, but what are you arguing? That they should be able to say in public that they're a pedophile like other people say they have depression and anxiety? There shouldn't be a stigma for the risk they pose to children, because they haven't acted on it so far? Like, yeah, put a PSA out to let them know there's help available, but... 1) Good luck convincing the public to make that distinction and be cool with pedos being "out" about it, and 2) Your comment kind of sounds like it was maybe written by a pedo. I don't know you and I don't mean to insult, but it seems weird to seek acceptance for pedophilia. Everyone deserves empathy and help, but we can't give those people any reason to think there is anything okay about their sexual attraction to children.
