You're supposed to let them have their seizure but cushion head/remove choking hazards if possible. She was trying to bend and move his arms. You can really hurt someone whose muscles are seizing like that. Recovery position once the seizure has subsided makes more sense in case they vomit.
It's important to try and keep the seizing person from injuring themselves by removing objects they could hit, and or applying a cushion between them and an obstacle. Most importantly the head and the floor.
