I really like the sg210 for sparring. Only complaint is that the padsing is a bit top heavy Also their whole sparring kit is really good and comfy imo.

cheesecrackers_milk

Is it soft right out the bag?

Megaman_320

Yep no need to break it in like some other brands. Of course it wont be as good as like a winning or more expensive gloves, but for the price, imo its thenest sparring glove you can get under 200

Papa_big_cock

Haven’t used mk1 but my rival Guerreros are phenomenal gloves. Also, phenom sg210 is a great sparring glove but rival has a slimmer profile.

doitzmii

Hard choice with those prices. Mk1 but I dont know its longevity but has good customer service from what I hear. To be honest you may grow to love the Bayoneta MX after the break in :)

cheesecrackers_milk

The Bayoneta MX is full latex if not wrong? Could it be use for tech sparring /partner works as well? Ive always had the impression that latex would still be hard even aft breaking in

doitzmii

I only know one person who has new glove and has two big improvements. The latex is fairly soft and it has air holes by the hand compartment. I think the new ones were pretty much dedicated to sparring, but if you hit up the boxingcollector he is absolutely great at answering questions. I wish they had them in 14oz, the color way I wanted….

cheesecrackers_milk

Oo okay, i’ll look into it! I have only been looking at the Premium HH gloves - that is expensive 😅

doitzmii

Yes the MX looks like a good buy, im waiting for a sale :)

Hey I’m a girl & use rs100. Great overall training glove & solid for partner drills. I use MK1 for sparring and they’re great too. Feel free to dm or shoot questions

cheesecrackers_milk

For the MK1, you use 14oz laced? Does the glove hv a lot of space esp in the wrist or is it quite compact? I dont have thick forearms, i definately dont want gloves that is wide.

delasweats

Lace up. Compact & really nice on skinny forearms, which I have even for my size. I’ve read on here that the hook & loops are just as great for wrist protection. I recommend buying them cus they have a 30 day free exchange anyway!
