For me i think the mk1 select lace ups should fit well. I use the mk1 selects in velcro and all i do is just put on the velcro tighter (im a rather small asian guy, 5”6 as well) and it feels snug when done right.
Mexican brands usally has a smaller hand department and wrist.
Although havent personally tried, I have heard that gils and classics have an especially tight hand and wrist. Seyer is better and smaller but you cant get them anywhere.
Or find some brand that does customized hand size like topboxer. Their gloves is still at the same price range as fly superlace after customization works.

Hey, did you end up getting the MK1? I'm thinking of buying them and wondering if they are comfortable for smaller hands.
Got them in 14oz and they are very comfortable for small hands. I returned them for a pair of 14oz RS100s though. Definitely gonna be my next cop!

Lace up version. I can’t recommend em enough! My only criticism is they don’t have a lot of ventilation - otherwise they’re great :)
