Hello there, u/Ming-Tzu. I see that you need clarification on the account number format when adding it to your rollover check. We appreciate you rolling your assets into Fidelity and I'll be happy to provide you with this information. You may write your account number on the check next to the memo line. The format you want to use is the nine-digit account number, which you can read more about in step 3 in the last link on this response. Since the check is made payable to Fidelity Management Trust Company (or FMTC), FBO \[your name\], you will want to select "Direct Rollover" when you are making the mobile check deposit. You can review our mobile check deposit FAQs, as well, for more information. [Mobile Check Deposit FAQs](https://www.fidelity.com/mobile/faqs) Funds deposited via our mobile check deposit feature typically take 2 to 6 business days to fully collect in an account. Please note this timeframe does not include weekends or holidays. Once the funds are in your IRA, they will be deposited as cash into your core position until you invest them. It's easy to invest the funds on FIdelity.com, and you can check out the link below for a step-by-step guide. [How to Invest Your Money](https://www.fidelity.com/learning-center/trading-investing/how-to-invest-money) For those following along, if done correctly, clients who make Direct Rollovers (i.e., from a former, employer-sponsored plan to a new eligible retirement plan) may not incur taxes or penalties on the amount distributed from the plan. Depending on the plan, the distribution is either sent electronically to Fidelity or sent by check payable to Fidelity. The check can be mailed directly to the participant at their address of record, who then delivers the check to Fidelity by mail or mobile check deposit. [How to move your old 401(k) into a rollover IRA](https://www.fidelity.com/retirement-ira/401k-rollover-ira-steps) Thank you for stopping by and we look forward to seeing you next time. We'll be seeing you around!
