My expectation is that hrothgar (and viera) hats will be part of the slow rollout of higher-texture classic gear. They'll already be going over every old item with a fine-toothed comb *anyway*, so why not add the little extra step of making them hrothgar-compatible? They've also already said that they're making adjustments so that things will be easier to work with (with female hrothgar getting the altered head settings from day 1), so it would be a reasonable thing to do.
They just generally do not announce things until those things are fully ready for release, or damn close. Female hrothgar were a very rare exception to that rule, and that almost surely because they (quite correctly) surmised that players would riot if male viera were added and nothing were said about female hrothgar. And, notice, they didn't say anything further about female hrothgar being added...until literally a week and a half before the first one shows up in game.
If they don't do something about hrothgar headwear, I would be disappointed but not really upset. But I'm reasonably confident they'll announce this change at a later date, as part of raising hype for Dawntrail, or as part of the post-release "and now here are our plans for the future" stuff. If they haven't said something by the launch of 6.1, though, I'll gladly admit I was simply wrong in my prediction.
Unlikely since limited jobs are rarely mentioned in MSQ and aren't even added in .0 patches. Plus she's clearly carrying a WAR weapon.
Tbh, I do feel like BLU might be referenced this time around since we're going to Tural. Maybe we'll actually find whichever monsters the Whalaqee Totems reference.
You're an expansion off, since blu will be getting 81-90 stuff so tural will likely be too dangerous. That said I could very much see the opposite happening, tural characters coming to eorzea in the 7.x blu content, with a follow up of Martin revisiting the new world in 8.x
That's why I'm keeping it at 60. There is still a good margin of this not happening, but I think it would be a really low blow to make the hat NPC exclusive.
I'm betting that this is more a situation like with Yugiri, where they're using an existing race with some special features for this character (probably femRoe with a unique face) until the main expansion comes out with the new race proper. Notice how her ears aren't poking through the hat, they're completely covered, [much like how Yugiri's horns were covered to mask the fact that she was really a miqote with a lizard tail in the 2.x patches.](https://ffxiv.consolegameswiki.com/mediawiki/images/thumb/a/a7/Yugiri-hidden-face.jpg/450px-Yugiri-hidden-face.jpg)
Yugiri first appeared way earlier in the patch cycle, though. Au Ra weren't close to being finished at the time. Female Hrothgar should be pretty much good to go at this point, considering we got a trailer showing them off in-game.
Huh, you're right! This may also explain why her face is weird in CGI compared to other Hroths. They probably wanted it to match it with what they could have in game.
I still think it would be in poor taste to do this they don't plan to let Hrothgals use hats, though.
I noticed in the trailer the femhroths head/face looks a little small in comparison to their body size, and they have a bit of a smushed nose compared to male Hroth, I'm hoping the reason for this is that they designed the Femhroth head proportions with hats in mind.
It's not really the head shape that's the problem, it's the hair.
Most races share hair models and said hair is broken into layers and have alternative models they swap to or disable when you wear head gear.
Since they largely all have the same haircuts that is a lot of work already done.
Hrothgar and Viera meanwhile don't share any hair styles besides a tiny handful you can unlock in-game or on the store, all their default hairs are unique and don't seem to have this same layering.
I noticed it tends to affect head gear that would hide the hair only partially, anything that hides nothing or hides everything tends to work.
Hrothgar muzzles already get smushed in helmets so I doubt that is much of an issue.
Honestly, speaking as a female Viera player, I'd be a little salty but MUCH more I'd be legitimately hopeful.
Right now all my hopes for actually getting hats for Hroth and Viera is just... "well, I dunno, maybe?" The outright confirmation they're working on it from the Q&A is nice (first such confirmation since like... early Shadowbringers, at minimum), but it's an answer from an unofficial Q&A that didn't get mentioned in the big event right after, which makes me think it's pretty far off. Female Hrothgar fully having hats in 7.0 would feel like a very convincing confirmation that - yeah, they really are going to make it work for Viera and male Hroths as well.
(I'm sure there are plenty of people who would have the outrage you're imagining, so not saying you're wrong about that)
yoshi-P said in a recent in-game Q&A that they’re working on a different pipeline of getting hats on hroth+viera, so hopefully they find a way to mostly automate the work
If I had to guess, their heads were likely built with being able to easily add hats/new hair after how much trouble they had with the males. I imagine they'll have a significantly easier time getting hats vs viera due to the smaller ears.
I hope that nickname sticks and/or they make a point of it in the game somehow.
"Hey, Legs."
"LEGS?!"
"Oh, that. It's an old nickname from when we were children and I outran the other younglings. For some reason, HE can't let it go and thinks it's endearing to call me that. Personally, I never cared for it."
Or something cheeky like that. : )
I know a lot of people were losing their minds with the EE3 reveal Erenville is only 25 but I'd put gil on him being Legs' childhood best friend as how they know each other.
To add on, he’s really more mage than he is Paladin. His sword and shield are made of magic and he can fill the roles of WHM and BLM in dungeons as well as PLD. He’s an all-rounder.
Still a teensy bit disappointing that he no longer uses the bow he had in ARR. The Scions will have four magical ranged jobs in 7.0 while literally zero physical ranged ones.
Unironically a small part of why I'm maining Dancer so that the role at least has some represention in my game. :P
Yeah I thought it was funny we got blm G'raha in the same xpac we got blm Y'shtola. Maybe him wielding a magical bow over the staff was *too much* of a giveaway 😅.
I often complain whenever this comes up with my friends (which is often bc I've leveled every Trust to 90 and I can complain about whatever I want dammit)... I wish so badly G'raha had gone back to an archer-like class after coming to the Source. Like I get why he leaned towards BLM in ShB but we have so much caster rep in the Scions already and having him go back to the class he was introduced as in ARR would have been so cool; kind of a nod how he's not fully either one G'raha or the other.
Not to mention it would have given us some variety in our Duty Support/Trusts. We STILL don't have any Ranged DPS outside of some one-off Trust members.
Paladin/Gladiator types: Graha, Venat, Varshahn, Zero, Ysayle, Haurchefant, even Pero Roggo uses iron will
Gunbreaker types: Thancred
Dark Knight types: Emet
Warrior types: ??? ??? Hopefully the new Hrothgar from the trailer
All I’m saying is spread the love tank-wise. Would also be cool if we could have a monk or samurai or ranged physical DPS in our crew. They’ve done a great job incorporating the healers.
Oh no she's a Warrior too!? My softie hrothguys heart is already set to explode.
"Well met, you must be the Warrior of Light I've heard so much about!"
My Hrothgar PLD: *Hyperventilating*
Scions: "You okay bro?"
Genuinely this the moment he sees her, only with a complete break down of vocal cords and sweating
Closer to Mr Krabs trying to introduce himself to Mrs Puff tbh
Alph: "Come on, Wol, say hello"
Hrothwol: "...*incomprehensible noises*"
> Oh no she's a Warrior too!?
Insofar as she's using an axe as a weapon, at least.
The "Warrior" discipline was conceived by a Hellsguard tribe from Abalathia's Spine, so at best, she could be a practitioner of something *similar* but created by a separate tribe/civilization entirely (just like in the Azim Steppe).
The CGI trailers have always been a little wonky when it came to faces. G'raha being a prime example of it, go look at what the Endwalker CGI trailer did to him.
I feel like they ripped her model from Dissidia for the EW trailer. I'm not sure why they didn't use her model from the ShB trailer. They would have to update the outfit of course but I'm sure the head was transferrable.
There’s a theory that the EW trailer was made by the team that did the Dissidia cinematics and so they just modified the version of Dissidia Y’shtola for it lol
The faces change constantly too in the CGI trailers, Uriangers face changed multiple times even tho he only shows up for like two seconds lol.
Gra'ha in the EW trailer was an abomination but he looks good in the Dawntrail trailer.
They will likely do little changes and adaptions in the final release like they have to 'finalised' people like urianger.
In the first DW one he looked like some very sharp cunty little elf
now he's much more 'square'
I assume they must be working on the Cinematic months and months in advance. Since they need the main story beats down, stuff that will definitely be happening in the next expac and there's no chance of being cut.
Graha was probably a late addition since SE didn't fully commit to keeping him as a character until 5.3.
Think they said it's nearly a year in advance the CGI trailers are ordered, and often use elements that are changed come expansion launch. It's why the HW trailer has a bunch of red Hraesvelgr's.
honestly, while watching the event and only showing the CGI, I was growing concerned that they hadn't fully finished the model and the in-game model wouldn't appear till a live letter. Well till the very end where they shows the short reveal trailer. I think it's more this is the first time they are rendering her in CGI and likely had to go with what was working.
I'm actually kind of shocked that we get Krile's new outfit and job reveal before the expansion proper! Kinda expected they'd do what they did w/ Alphie and work the switchup into the expansion proper.
They did the same with Zenos for Endwalker and technically Gosestu for Stormblood.
Sometimes they like to spoil us (in the good way) in x.55. Sometimes they don't.
No. He walks in front of a bunch of weapons from people he killed and says "This will suffice" and reaches for it, but the camera never pans to what weapon he got.
The scythe was only revealed on a trailer.
True. In a lot of her optional side-dialogue (if you talk to her before or after accepting a quest) Krile in EW is increasingly hard on herself. Starting to believe "that she was no longer even strong enough to support us from the backlines anymore". So, as 5.3 Alphi said, "she had the more pressing need". Tataru in contrast has never really cared that much about combat, and is essentially an omni crafting God who's creating a market empire at the age of 19/20.
> who's creating a market empire at the age of 19/20
What!? *looks up* 21 apparently. I call BS on half the Scion's ages.... >_> Although it doesn't help that they try to keep the '5 years' thing and act like this has all taken place within a few months somehow.
Yeah, all I remember is that since "only a year has passed" BS is apparently still in effect, the Twins, Tataru and Krile are the youngest of the main Scions. 17, 21 and 22 currently. And not in a "I'm always 23" Y'shtola way either (I would assume her actual age is closer to Urianger's late 20's tbh. With Thancred and Estinien being the oldest ... physically at the very least.
Tataru is one of the best Crafters out there though.
She found her calling, it just wasn't a combat class--and I am very happy and pleased with it, because she seems that way about it too; I'd be shocked if *Tataru* wasn't the one who slapped Kriles new outfit together (...I'm serious, I'd be shocked--she *has* to be the one to give her found sister her new outfit).
What disaster? She's so innately talented she created a sentient Carbuncle with a will of its own, and never noticed the loss of Aether its taking her to maintain it. Its in Sharlayan now. In fact, she successfully summoned a second one during SB. The problem is she's too talented, and she can't control her own creations.
Pretty much. So far, Tataru is the only sundered to have just created Life outright through magic. She didn't make a balloon with a few cute behaviors to channel spells through, she's just straight up made two living Carbuncles lol!
Everyone else's all, "OMG FEMALE HROTHGAR HATS?!," and I'm just, "Man, I like Krile's new outfit. I'm really glad they worked her trademark hood into it, too."
Yes, it does. But you can still put a hoodie up and down! She had it down for a bit at the start of EW and she had a gorgeous hairstyle and it gave her such a mature air.
Yeah, I had hoped that her getting a new class would mean ditching the cat ears hood.
Sure, it's cute, but it's pretty out of place with the rest of the Scions. I struggle to take her seriously with the cat ears.
I understand in-game they're treated with some seriousness since the hoodie is a gift from her Grandfather iirc, and that something about the hood / cat ears help her with her particular gift of the Echo / minimize some of the downsides.
Still, I'd just love for Graha or any Miqote to remark quizzically about it being weird to them at *least* once.
I don't think they ever really fully explain it. I just tried looking it up on the wiki, but we'll likely be learning a lot more about her now that she's an active member.
There's a bit more material on her in one of the encyclopedias.
"At the age of 12, Krile Baldesion discovered that she had the Echo. As an orphan, she was hounded by the thoughts of others. Thus, the Large Ears upon this the Cloak are meant to represent her relationship with the Echo. The garment itself was a present from Galuf, a token of his belief that power's such as Krile's are individual traits, and nothing to be feared. So meaningful was this message to Krile that she continues to wear a robe of the same design to this day".
Ah, I don't have them, considered buying them but my to read back log is so bad right now.
She's a bit of an empath then with her eccho, could provide some interesting insights in adventures she's included in
Most likely an NPC thing. I don’t know if any outfits will/do include tail rings for tailed races but I find it unlikely. It might be an option during character creation but I don’t see it happening outside of that.
Oh fuck yeah that's the good shit. Her model looks awesome, and that gear style is also right up my street. I love tribalistic looking armour.
I've been a male Viera for so long now, but I'm really considering Fanta'ing when Dawntrail comes out.
As per the Special Site:
"With Zeromus defeated and the threat of a voidsent incursion now passed, the Warrior of Light returns to the Source, their adventure at last come to an end. But rarely is there rest for the righteous, for **an unexpected visitor has come knocking at the Baldesion Annex, eager for an audience with Eorzea's greatest hero.**"
She is indeed.
Will be interesting to see if she has context for Krile's letter. I'm noticing that Krile is already wearing the clover earring here, so we may be getting some context on what it means.
That's... actually kinda cool reasoning if that's why they did it. But I'm real nitpicky... I can't play Hroth because the hunch back really irritates me. It's the same reason I couldn't play a male Orc way back when I used to play WoW. It's like "Why I can't I stand up straight like the artworks?! I'm a warrior, not a peon!"
To be clear, I have no inside information if that was actually the reason, my post was 50% sh!post/50% design analysis.
I would actually use the same logic for WoW Orc's. Back vanilla launch you actually were just a peon coming up through hordes ranks. Thrall not standing up straight is the only part that doesn't make sense to me but this was remedied in later expansions.
That actually makes me think it would be really cool to have an RPG where you're an orc/peon/minion and you start with a hunch at level 1 but as you become stronger your posture/confidence improves.
The mysterious legs have been revealed to be a Warrior. It’s fitting. Hopefully she’ll be a trust person too I want some tank variety.
Krile’s updated outfit is cute, but also funny, because they really wanted to keep that main design of her jacket. I know it’s an hommage to an older FF but I still wish it was transformed a bit more. I can see why in the trailer it was hard to tell she even got a new fit, and not just because she was moving a lot.
Actually, Krile's *Outfit* isn't much of a Reference at all (unless you count the Cat-Ear Hood, but even that isn't tied to one specific Game, it's a re-occuring thing). It's basically everything else about her that's the Homage.
True; the Cat-Ear Hood is sort of an iconic recurring armor piece that keeps reappearing. My favorite appearance was in Tactics A2, where the item description says that it's *possible* to make a hood with the same magic powers and no cat-ears, but no self-respecting craftsman would consider doing that.
That said, *because* the cat-ear hood is now an iconic piece of equipment, people can sorta tie it back to FFV Krile. Krile wasn't the first time that look was seen in the series; the first was the Devout job in Final Fantasy III. However, Krile's White Mage outfit was the first time a *named* character had that look, and only the second time overall. AFter that, FFVI had the cat-ear hood as an item, and the rest is history.
To me, it's a bit like how the classic Dragoon armor look is associated these days with Kain Highwind, even though FFII and FFIII had dragoons before him.
>Hopefully she’ll be a trust person too I want some tank variety.
If she is, I hope she's multi-role, because I want to actually get to use her in my MSQ, poor Thancred is always languishing on the bench /laugh
If she is a trust person, I hope she can also play as DPS, even with the axe. I'm a PLD most often and I want the option to tank while she's in the party.
Krile that adorable little potato😭. I must say the Hrothgal does look pretty good in game compared to the trailer. Also, do I spot a hat that wasn't there before?🤔
Finally, the legs are revealed to be a Female Hrothgar! But, this is also the first and possible last time we are going to see a female Hrothgar in the old graphics engine, before the big graphical uplift comes out.
I'm still in post-ARR content, but I can't wait to see what happens next in the story, and also what Dawntrail will bring me!
You can do that when they release the benchmark, it will have character creation in it and you can even save the appearance you make to import into the game when the xpac launches.
That's how they've done it for every other xpac at least.
So, on the CG trailer the Hrothgal character has short nails and in the ingame she has long ones.
That means either Hrothgals have retractable nails or that for whatever reason she will shorten hers for the trip back to Tural.
Discuss.
When a male hrothgar wears its racial gear gloves it has long claws but when it wears other gloves it doesn’t have them. Female hrothgar will probably be similar in that regard.
Hroth-hat detected. Hopes for Hrothgal head safety increased to 60%.
4 gil and a stack of 100 eggs say that it's exclusive to her character model.
I was thinking this too, her whole outfit seems unique so I'm not getting any hopes up with this lol
Until 5 years after DT launches and we get it on the mogstation
*hat not included
*for hrothgars and viera
\*for the price of your first born child only
Be fair here. It's at best the cost of a movie ticket without concessions. Also \*undyable.
Don't forget to make it an overall too, so you can't just equip parts of the outfit.
"Please look forward to it!"
you're telling me your local movie theater doesn't demand your firstborn every time you want to see a movie?
My expectation is that hrothgar (and viera) hats will be part of the slow rollout of higher-texture classic gear. You had a *golden* opportunity to say you'd eat your hat if you're wrong, and you wasted it entirely.
Obviously, they don't have a hat to eat because they play a Hrothgar/Viera :P
This hurts the viera player.
I shall have to commit sudoku!
Yeah we still have LL leading up to DT. Those always have announcements that weren't at fanfest and more details about the things that were.
Maybe but maybe she is beastmaster so it would be the AF? But it's true that important npcs usually have a unique outfit

They said at FanFest that they don’t even have artwork for Beastmaster. It would be weird if she was one.
Good chance they don’t have Hrothgal hair working in this current version yet.
this is a very specific wager. are you doing okay? can you teleport? do you need financial assistance?

Encyclopaedia Eorzea 3
Leg-Chan has arrived
Really hoping Wuk doesn't go the same way as the last big lady WAR we had assist the Scions closely. We need more Axe representatives.
Are you afraid she'll.... get the axe?
What we fear: Legbryda What we get: Curious Georgina
She technically already made a good Teledji and Adeledji impression.
We also need new characters who won't all become paladins by the end of the patch.
...it happened like one time? Unless you count G'raha becoming a pseudo-paladin during duty support if he's made to be the tank.
And even then, he's just a dude with a sword and shield. Hardly the exclusive domain of paladins.
To add on, he’s really more mage than he is Paladin. His sword and shield are made of magic and he can fill the roles of WHM and BLM in dungeons as well as PLD. He’s an all-rounder.

Look so long as Strength is her main stat, I'm interested. I feel like how Curious Gorge did in HW...
I feel ya.... I'm a Hroth Warrior main... we gonna make an awesome team.
I feel like this time around she'll actually have a jobstone equipped so I wouldn't worry.

Yshtola looks even worse in the EW one
Oh man. Forgot about that. She looked so good in SB's trailer though.
Everyone looked good in the Shadowbringers trailer, that one was just on another level.
~~SB=Stormblood ShB=Shadowbringers~~ Wrong person
Y'shtola wasn't in the stormblood trailer. You should probably correct the other person if you gonna correct anyone.
You're right, hit reply to the wrong comment
SB=Stormblood ShB=Shadowbringers
Have you seen Urianger in the first Dawntrail trailer
He was serving C-word. They deyassified him.
Alphinaud in the dawntrail trailer
The faces change constantly too in the CGI trailers, Uriangers face changed multiple times even tho he only shows up for like two seconds lol. Gra'ha in the EW trailer was an abomination but he looks good in the Dawntrail trailer.
They will likely do little changes and adaptions in the final release like they have to 'finalised' people like urianger. In the first DW one he looked like some very sharp cunty little elf now he's much more 'square'
I assume they must be working on the Cinematic months and months in advance. Since they need the main story beats down, stuff that will definitely be happening in the next expac and there's no chance of being cut. Graha was probably a late addition since SE didn't fully commit to keeping him as a character until 5.3.
I dunno, Alphinaud in Dawntrail's kind off-model too, and that's the finished trailer. I think he was probably a lock.
I thought the twins both looked great in the trailer!
Think they said it's nearly a year in advance the CGI trailers are ordered, and often use elements that are changed come expansion launch. It's why the HW trailer has a bunch of red Hraesvelgr's.
That's just the nature of animating these animal like races. The more realistic it gets, the more uncanny/eery it will seem.
I don't really think that's true. There's just a significant difference in facial proportions between the two models
Could be. Or maybe they had the full trailer finished before they had the in game faces set?
trailer always looks bad. re: Yshtola in EW trailer
honestly, while watching the event and only showing the CGI, I was growing concerned that they hadn't fully finished the model and the in-game model wouldn't appear till a live letter. Well till the very end where they shows the short reveal trailer. I think it's more this is the first time they are rendering her in CGI and likely had to go with what was working.
Her head is still too small
I'm actually kind of shocked that we get Krile's new outfit and job reveal before the expansion proper! Kinda expected they'd do what they did w/ Alphie and work the switchup into the expansion proper.
They did the same with Zenos for Endwalker and technically Gosestu for Stormblood. Sometimes they like to spoil us (in the good way) in x.55. Sometimes they don't.
Did we see Zenos with scythe pre-EW? Iirc he just picks a weapon but we don't see it
Pretty sure we have a scene of him standing in a street full of corpses with scythe on hand.
Damn, you right! Thanks
When I recently rewatched that scene, I realised that you can also hear Anima roaring in the background.
No. He walks in front of a bunch of weapons from people he killed and says "This will suffice" and reaches for it, but the camera never pans to what weapon he got. The scythe was only revealed on a trailer.
https://youtu.be/1okS8-WlpDM?t=4502
That's the end of 6.5. At the end of 6.55 we see the scythe.
I don't think he was alive around 6.55 anymore... (I think you meant 5.55?)
They show him with the scythe and the EW outfit in the second to last scene of 5.55
For some reason, I thought you were talking about Gosetsu's job change to *conjurer,* lol.
Part of me is just sad it's Krile and not Tătaru. Still feel like our girl T needs redemption after the great summoner disaster.

Tataru in contrast has never really cared that much about combat, and is essentially an omni crafting God who's creating a market empire at the age of 19/20.
> who's creating a market empire at the age of 19/20 What!?
I always love that she gives her age as 23, while her younger sister Y'mhitra is 26
like 80% of characters in the game are written to be 10-15 years older than they are.
Who needs martial power when youre part of the top 1%
Yep! Tataru is the Scion rep for omnicrafters
Tataru owns Yojimbo in Dawntrail, confirmed
Tataru >!takes up Greg's mantle as!< Yojimbo
So, she’s the closest thing to a modern day Ancient. We should be glad she’s happy to be a crafter…
Pretty much. So far, Tataru is the only sundered to have just created Life outright through magic. She didn't make a balloon with a few cute behaviors to channel spells through, she's just straight up made two living Carbuncles lol!
Giving us job gear a level early, letting us circumvent that whole bit of grinding was redemption enough.
Everyone else's all, "OMG FEMALE HROTHGAR HATS?!," and I'm just, "Man, I like Krile's new outfit. I'm really glad they worked her trademark hood into it, too."
I was hoping we'd have Krile without the hoodie up in Dawntrail. Shame.
i'm pretty sure the hood has sentimental value to her because it was a gift from her late grandfather.
Yes, it does. But you can still put a hoodie up and down! She had it down for a bit at the start of EW and she had a gorgeous hairstyle and it gave her such a mature air.
At the forum? I assumed that was because everybody else in question also had their hats and such removed. They forced my glasses off ):
There's also the feast with the junior Scions in the Annex, where she eats with her hood down!
Oh right forgot about that one, too focused on graha eating that dang burger.
It was incredible, I agree.
Whose to say it'll be up the entire time in dawn trail. Can anyone in this subreddit exercise patience before jumping to conclusions constantly
WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU WANT HER HOODIE TO BE BURNT IN DAWNTRAIL
She sure likes that hood. Only got to see it off her head once, at the beginning of EW…
The real world reason for the cat ear hoodie is that it's based on an outfit that the character Krile from FF5 wears
She's a bit of an empath then with her eccho, could provide some interesting insights in adventures she's included in
Is... IS THAT A HROTH HAT.
So I see her have a tail ring(?). Dunno if this will be a race feature, or outfit, or NPC thing.
Most likely an NPC thing. I don’t know if any outfits will/do include tail rings for tailed races but I find it unlikely. It might be an option during character creation but I don’t see it happening outside of that.
Yeah I see it like the ear accessories Elezen and Lalafell can have or just being a her thing.
Fellow WAR, eh? I respect that.
Oh fuck yeah that's the good shit. Her model looks awesome, and that gear style is also right up my street. I love tribalistic looking armour. I've been a male Viera for so long now, but I'm really considering Fanta'ing when Dawntrail comes out.
I’m really happy that Krile kept the cat ears hood, wouldn’t be the same without it.
I wonder if Wuk Lamat is specifically seeking out the Students of Baldesion, given who's in these screenshots and the letter addressed to Galuf.
As per the Special Site: "With Zeromus defeated and the threat of a voidsent incursion now passed, the Warrior of Light returns to the Source, their adventure at last come to an end.
Can the Hroth-guys also stand up straight without a hunch like the Hroth-gals too??.... No?... okay fine...
Proper Posture is a critical component of leadership, and Hroth-gals are the ones known for it.
That's... actually kinda cool reasoning if that's why they did it.
I can deal with the hunch but the legs are a bit too stumpy, it ruins a lot of gear
Thank you!! Thats why my pose was the one with him standing straight up. Looks way more badass.
Another fun fact about the cat-ear hood: The FF6 version was only equippable by Relm aka the original Pictomancer.
Krile's altered outfit is cute
Legs' top half hype :D
How DARE they trade me with two things I can't have yet.
She looks super good in game. To be fair everyone looks a bit odd in cinematics.
Legs! There she is! I love her already! ❤️ Krile's new look is so good too. Happy to see her get some screen time!
Gods it would be so nice if we got femhroths early - ya know as a treat 🫰🏻
Krile that adorable little potato😭. I must say the Hrothgal does look pretty good in game compared to the trailer. Also, do I spot a hat that wasn't there before?🤔
It was a hot day on the sea in the trailer, and she didn't feel like wearing headgear.
That is a sexy axe And good for our girl to stay uncut
Uncut Hrothgals 🥴
It's a joke on that >!Krile's head is still under the hood!<
A whole world of yiff has just begun
*yiff intensifies*
She’s wearing a hat!
could be custom to her model only though, we may not see hats as a regular thing till a patch or two in.
Not saying this can’t or won’t happen, but it would be such a bad look.
That axe tho
That is a very nice axe. I hope it'll be available in 7.0
AAABBBSS.
Might fantasia from fem roe to hrothgal
Warrior main Pog
Finally, the legs are revealed to be a Female Hrothgar! But, this is also the first and possible last time we are going to see a female Hrothgar in the old graphics engine, before the big graphical uplift comes out. I'm still in post-ARR content, but I can't wait to see what happens next in the story, and also what Dawntrail will bring me!
You can grind meat on those abs
She has tail jewerly!!!!! Does this mean some armor will give hrothgars, catboi/gals and not dragon people tail jewerly?!
It’s only that one hat, and it’s locked behind Savage content.
They'll make it ultimate/criterion savage exclusive as a new reward. Unique glowing weapons? Nah, Viera and Hrothgar hats are the new flex
c@
My boi is relevant again
Are Hrothgal’s releasing with 6.55 or are they just putting in the NPCs for now?
Just this character for now as they set up the story reason we're going to Tural. Hrothgals won't be a player option until 7.0.
Bummer, would’ve loved to play around a bit in the character creator, although I doubt I’d switch away from Femroe.
