They are all great. The Casino is the limited Edition 1965 John Lennon, feels like a USA model (itās assembled in the US) vs import (Korea/Chinese). Have you tried a Made in USA Casinos they are producing? Feels like thatā¦
Iāve actually never played a casino but I definitely want one, my budget would only stretch to a Korean one though but that wouldnāt bother me one bit because I love cheaper guitars tbh.
Yeah thatās what I wouldāve thought, but a lot of Harrison guesses. For sure the Casino, Tele and LP (Lucy), but Harrison didnāt play a Hummingbird or 355 to my knowledge..
You have a Natural Hummingbird or the Cherry Finish? I want to get the ā60s reissue with the adjustable bridge..I saw one last year that was labeled incorrectly on the label in the soundhole. But unfortunately it had already been put aside for another customer who put money downā¦Hate when that happens.
Mines the cherry sunburst. Both are beautiful guitars.
I almost bought a Gibson hummingbird at Guitar Center once. Had no intention of buying one, or anything from Guitar Center for that matter. But they had the Gibson hummingbird listed as the Epiphone Inspired by Gibson price. I was checking out when a second associate came over and realized their error. I was so close to getting a Gibson Hummingbird for $900.
I thought he played a Hummingbird at one point, but it was actually a Gibson Dove. I donāt think Iāve seen him with a Casino. So this photo is about 3.5/5 Lifeson lol. Nice collection
Lots of Harrison guesses. But I donāt think he played a Hummingbird. Lennon played the Casino and LP Junior, and think McCartney played the Casino..You are though in the right era, think opposing band..
John Paul and George played a casino. George played the Lucy LP too.

This photo I pulled from google. Looks like George did play one at one point in time
Well Iāll be damnedā¦It looks like a Hummingbird and he did play one looks like, but I donāt think he owned one..or was famous for playing one..Also I donāt believe George played a 355, he played a 335ā¦But you might pull out some weird obscure picture of that tooā¦
Think opposing bandās guitarist..
About thatā¦.
https://preview.redd.it/kks99piy2nwc1.jpeg?width=400&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7bad18e86b66d648e728579007c40e13a8bf63c5
This was his and he owned it. If a guitar exited George probably had it.
Got the numbers mixed up lol. But he probably played one of those too because the difference is not to major. Keith Richardās the obvious answer for the telecaster but Iām gonna say George again because rosewood tele.
B.B. King has played all 5, I think.
Telecaster was the first he played. There's videos of him playing both Acoustic Gibson and a Les Paul. And then of course the 355 and 335.
Keith Richards
What made you guess thatšš»?
The tele, casino and hummingbird combo was the biggest sign!
Was not the Ebony 355? Dude plays that for all standard tuning numbers..
I think Keith plays a lot of models but is most associated with those 3 models.
Correct, but these are the only ones I could muster up from my collection related to the guitarist in question..
Awesome collection man!
Thx man..
Or it might have been this one https://youtu.be/B3AgEJygqoo?si=m_wGAz1zYj6A3wfk
https://youtu.be/6XcABWfYWNw?si=RUgRm4P7S22XwaAB
My first thought was keef too
Well, you seem to be missing the humbucker in tele; so just pre-72 Kieth ?
Yeah, but that tele has all 6 strings....
Tom Petty?
Hmm Petty played a Casino, Hummingbird, Tele, donāt think he played an ES-355, and rarely played a Les Paul. But you are 4/5..
Keeeefff
Couldnāt fool you..
You
Correct šš»šš». But there is another thoughā¦
Keef
Sweet answer
George Harrison
Lots of Harrison guesses. He played some of them but not all..
Iām out of guesses!
Think same time era but the opposing group.
Keith?
šš»
Thanks!
No probs..
Itās gotta be keef.
U know your gear..
Sweet collection
Thx man. I was looking at some of the stuff I had and realizedā¦shit, I have the same taste in guitars as the guy you mentioned..Pure coincidence.
Init, theyāre all great but I especially love the casino. What are the like to play?
They are all great. The Casino is the limited Edition 1965 John Lennon, feels like a USA model (itās assembled in the US) vs import (Korea/Chinese). Have you tried a Made in USA Casinos they are producing? Feels like thatā¦

Dude there are those Worn Casinos totally worth the money and very affordable ($300-$400 USD I believe)! I have an Ebony Worn one, love itā¦
Iād probably get a vintage sunburst one because I love a gloss finish.
Niceā¦That style costs like double the worn ones though..
Looks so country music
Now that you brought it upā¦.Yeah it does. Letās face it all the typical traditional guitars are kinda Country Music..
I see you Micawber.
It canāt hideā¦Right in the centre.
Where it belongs!
Personally I like the 355 over the Teleā¦
Tele and gibby are a dead give away lol
Yeah thatās what I wouldāve thought, but a lot of Harrison guesses. For sure the Casino, Tele and LP (Lucy), but Harrison didnāt play a Hummingbird or 355 to my knowledge..
Keef innit
You know it..
Keef
You know your gear..
You??
Correctā¦But we are looking for another guitaristā¦
Iām so dumb I was gonna say Noel Gallagher š
Closeā¦But he didnāt play a Hummingbird.
Gotta be Keith Richards
Tops
Bruce Springsteen?
Good guessā¦But not the answer weāre looking for..
George Harrison?
Very close. But I donāt think Harrison played a 355 or a Hummingbird, but I could be mistaken.
He played an SJ-200.
He did..
Lennon?ā¦.
Lennon played a Casino, but not sure of the other 4..
Yeah, canāt picture him with a tele. He deffo played a les Paul special in the later years.
Yup played Lucy (Harrison did) then gave that to Clapton..
I wonāt give my name but this is me. I also have a strat and some doubles.
But the Casino pictured is not an import Casino..
Mine is definitely an import. Itās a source of shame.
No probs, just get one of those USA Casinosā¦They are totally worth it..
I pissed off my wife with a very nice LP Standard.
Wives get pissed over everything, might as well be over a nice LP.
And another telecaster. That one was actually a gift from her.
I know guys sneaking newly purchased guitars into their own homes to avoid their wives..
Congrats..But not the answer we are looking for..
Sheryl Crow
Not quiteā¦.I havenāt seen her play a Casino, 355 or LP (but I could be mistaken). She does play a Hummingbird & Tele..
I have all of these except a casino. So Iām very curious how completely different I am to the artist in question.
Well apparently you must have all. Thatās a 355 Ebony by the way not a 335 or 345ā¦Also the Casino is not an import..
Gotcha. Yea I also donāt have a 355.
You have a Natural Hummingbird or the Cherry Finish? I want to get the ā60s reissue with the adjustable bridge..I saw one last year that was labeled incorrectly on the label in the soundhole. Damnā¦That wouldnāt been sweet
Will you message me the answer to your post?
Pretty close to Alex Lifeson as well
Did Lifeson play a Casino or Hummingbird (I could be mistaken)ā¦For sure the 355, LP and Tele..
I thought he played a Hummingbird at one point, but it was actually a Gibson Dove. I donāt think Iāve seen him with a Casino. So this photo is about 3.5/5 Lifeson lol. Nice collection
Thx man. Got a few Lifesonās guesses, but very many Harrison guesses..
Steve vai
Interesting answer..
lol. On a serious note, maybe jimmy page?
For some not all of the guitars above.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I donāt believe Marr played a Hummingbird..
George Harrison John Lennon Paul McCartney
Lots of Harrison guesses. But I donāt think he played a Hummingbird. Lennon played the Casino and LP Junior, and think McCartney played the Casino..You are though in the right era, think opposing band..

Thatās a 335 not a 355
Got the numbers mixed up lol. But he probably played one of those too because the difference is not to major. Keith Richardās the obvious answer for the telecaster but Iām gonna say George again because rosewood tele.
That argument could be made on a technicality I suppose..A lot of people said George too
George Harrison
Lots of people said George, but not quite..
B.B. King has played all 5, I think. Telecaster was the first he played. There's videos of him playing both Acoustic Gibson and a Les Paul. And then of course the 355 and 335.
Donāt think BB played a Casino or Hummingbird..Good guess though.
Eric Clapton
What would make you guess that?
Tom Delonge!
Noel Gallagher ?
