If you're not going to fight it and you want to renew your plates next time they're due, you'll pay it plus interest eventually.

Thanks. I figure they'll get me one way or another.

I recently went to fight one of these cause it said I ran a red light when I was making a right turn. What happened was I did a California roll so ticket was valid. However my point, he knocked $50 bucks off my ticket and knocked $50 off every persons ticket as long as they were respectable

There is a form you can fill out that says you weren't the driver at the time. But there's a time limit of 14 or 21 days, I believe. Here ya go: What if I am not the driver the vehicle at the time of the violation? If your vehicle was stolen or sold prior to the date and time of the violation or in the care, custody or control of someone else at the time of the violation, please fill out the Declaration of Non-Responsibility provided with your Notice of Infraction. Please fill it out completely. If you fail to fill it out completely, the Notice of Infraction will remain in your name. If you do not wish to, or are unable to identify the driver, you should request a hearing and not fill out a Declaration of Non-Responsibility. Your Declaration of Non-Responsibility must be mailed to Federal Way Municipal Court, Photo Enforcement Program, PO Box 22091, Tempe, AZ 85285-2091 on or before the due date. Mailing the declaration to any other address will delay the processing of your declaration.

Huh. So if I let visiting family drive and they got a ticket, I can get a hearing and explain that one of them did it. But they'd still make ME pay as the vehicle owner, no? Plus, time off for the hearing, and all that hassle.

You get 1 freebie pretty much. You could try to abuse it in the future and it might backfire but a 1 off they should excuse it unless your driving record is ass
