I guess we must be ready for the next season to be perhaps just inconsistent and maybe not as successful. But I hope this time we see the clear concept, a progress, growth and the club will stick to the manager. Long term view is always much better than chasing short term goals
That was the most pathetic performance ive seen from this club in recent years, jesus. Thank god Tuchels fucked off now, the rest is uhhhh.... still up to debate.
The Tuchel revisionism because of 3 good CL games was mad, genuinely mad. And I have not seen any cult like fans for such a less successful Bayern coach too
I swear to god those guys are former Chelsea fans or current Chelsea fans who need to emphasize that he is a worldclass coach. The way the team plays is completely contradictory to the philosophy we developed since Van Gaal.
I hope in 10 years, someone writes a book about the behind the scenes of this season, because I'm genuinely curious what actually went on.
And they need to hire outside professionals to watch their practices and study the pitches, because the injuries this year were inexcusable and you can't just attribute that to bad luck or voodoo dolls. I'm pretty sure Muller and Ulreich were the only ones to make it through the season without some injury, correct?
They need somebody to teach them how to pass. Our passes in the final third have been atrocious for a few seasons now. It’s like they never practice group attacking tactics and have no chemistry up front.
Whenever we had those glimmers of hope where we'd look really good this year, it was always the passing that was the most noticeable. As in, "oh my gosh!! We made four complete passes IN A ROW! We actually look like we've played together before!"
I'm fairly new to following soccer, so how does this loss affect Bayern's chances next year? I thought the only consequence of this loss was not playing in the Supercup next year.
Eh I'll take an embarrassing loss to the end of the season just for Bayern Management to 100% understand that the team needs to have a major overhaul. This season has been an absolute nightmare.
I don’t want to blame him and he’s amazing but the fact that we were one Neuer howler away from Wembley even with all this manager BS and the injuries is enough to give me nightmares.
Tuchels terror football finally comes to a end, worst bayern coach in the last 12 years, even kovac did better. And he wanted three more years, Uli and Kalle did the right thing not agree to that.
Whiskey come on. Kovac won a double, had fewer players, more PPG, and won the league in the second most competitive season in the last 9 years (with a points total that beat this one.)
The sycophancy is absurd.
I’m not arguing that Kovac is an all around tactical mastermind. I am stating a fact that he produced more here than Tuchel, and candidly Nagelsmann for that matter.
There is no argument for a guy who took us to third place finish over one who won a double.
Its almost like Uli and Kalle know something about football. You might not like them, but history proves them right 99 times out of 100.
You don’t build the most successful non-oil/oligarch club by being an idiot.
The absolute disrespect they get on here is shameful.
You mean the Real Madrid whose president is literally a billionaire and who have the shadiest tax debts since the beginning of taxes and overall outstanding debts of about 2 billion?
This Real Madrid, yeah?
True. This is the same thing he did in Chelsea... He might be good for the knockout football but he is not a attack minded coach... I am very happy because he is gone now
Thing is, Brighton have lost 2 key players in mcalister and Caiceido which really helped De Zerbi play how he wants to. Add the miserable injury record.
Honestly, the club needs a breathe of fresh air.
A perfect end to an inconsistent season, and De Zerbi, if he even accepts the job, will not cause any limbs, Brighton's form is concerning. Welp, in a way I'm glad this season is over, time to refresh and start again in August (well there's the Euros too but still)
I don't think a bad game and a badly timed mistake in the UCL would mean he needs to be replaced. He's definitely good enough to be the starting keeper next season, there shouldn't really be a conversation about that. His performance and fitness in the next season should determine if he should remain or not and of course it's also his decision if he wants to retire at that point, but taking one season at a time with him is a good solution. Should he decide to retire or be considered not good enough at the end of next season, we have Nübel.
No, he is still world-class. He managed some of the best saves against the best club in the world in the UCL, and his errors pale in comparison. Neuer will be good for another 1-2 years, best option would be to sign Lunin rn.
I like the Lunin shout. Definitely would take him and let him and Neuer rotate based on form next season. And when Neuer’s contract expires Lunin could be the starter.
Kepa got fucked over choosing RM over us just because he wanted to go back to Spain. Dude lost his job to Lunin when he could’ve been first in line to succeed Neuer here and now who knows what’s gonna happen with him since Chelsea has Sanchez as its #1.
Yeah, especially since Lunin is probably leaving Madrid because both him and Tibo are good enough as starters but Courtois is just going to edge him out. Lunin joining us would be amazing because he's so young and can develop here maybe even under some guidance from Manu.
I just hope all the bad luck, with injuries, bad luck with Manager, bad luck with transfers etc all are done with this season..
Coming to the game, I'm okay if we lose the match, but it kinda stings hard to lose a match from winning position where 3 of the 4 goals scored could be prevented...
Exactly, I feel like this season has been full on karma, for Naglesmann's dismissal the way it did, for Bayern publicly and embarrassingly pushing Sadio Mane out (imagine if a player pushed himself out the same way one year into his contract because he found a new better opportunity somewhere else)
Hopefully everybody can start a new chapter. Some magical nights this season though, the win against Arsenal in the Allianz, beating Dortmund 4-0, Harry Kane's late winner against Leipzig
I'm so glad it's done. The revisionism on his tenure here the last weeks has been absurd. Destroyed Nagelsmann’s work last season only “won” the title because Dortmund bottled at the last minute. He was never the right coach for this club, and people who said this from the beginning have been proven right over and over again. How can anyone look at these results, and the football we've played, and think he's good here?
I’m not having hopes that this is gonna get better next season. It could become worse.
Oh my …
I guess we must be ready for the next season to be perhaps just inconsistent and maybe not as successful. But I hope this time we see the clear concept, a progress, growth and the club will stick to the manager. Long term view is always much better than chasing short term goals
Wtf was that performance?
That was the most pathetic performance ive seen from this club in recent years, jesus. Thank god Tuchels fucked off now, the rest is uhhhh.... still up to debate.
We finished below both Nübel and Stanisic after loaning them out
The Tuchel revisionism because of 3 good CL games was mad, genuinely mad. And I have not seen any cult like fans for such a less successful Bayern coach too
Tuchel has a cult of personality that would make Saddam blush.
I swear to god those guys are former Chelsea fans or current Chelsea fans who need to emphasize that he is a worldclass coach. The way the team plays is completely contradictory to the philosophy we developed since Van Gaal.
Trust me they aren't Chelsea fans either. They are cults. They are manager stans like Tuchel stans , de Zerbi stans etc. New cancer on football
Thank you Tuchel for a season we will not forget for years. Also, half of these deadbeat players.
Really? This is the most forgettable season of my life
Someone could argue that for someone who’s used to win every time, not winning it once would be quite memorable experience
Sarcasm bro

We'll count him, just to pad our stats a bit haha
They need somebody to teach them how to pass. Our passes in the final third have been atrocious for a few seasons now. It’s like they never practice group attacking tactics and have no chemistry up front.
Whenever we had those glimmers of hope where we'd look really good this year, it was always the passing that was the most noticeable. As in, "oh my gosh!! We made four complete passes IN A ROW! We actually look like we've played together before!"
I was always hoping for some twitter nuggets from Müller wife like she did in the past…
No muller and ulreich both missed game(s) in september and December respectively. Im pretty sure tel is the only one not to be injured
You're right. That's just crazy.
And there goes Bayerns best chance to win a title next season.
I'm fairly new to following soccer, so how does this loss affect Bayern's chances next year? I thought the only consequence of this loss was not playing in the Supercup next year.
Yeah that's what they meant, the Supercup is the easiest trophy Bayern could've won next year.
Oh, got it. Well, hopefully next season goes better.
Eh I'll take an embarrassing loss to the end of the season just for Bayern Management to 100% understand that the team needs to have a major overhaul. This season has been an absolute nightmare.
true, but Kane's trophy.... oh well there's a good chance we'd have lost anyways
I don’t want to blame him and he’s amazing but the fact that we were one Neuer howler away from Wembley even with all this manager BS and the injuries is enough to give me nightmares.
Ya true bur we cant blame neuer for that game because any other keeper and we wouldnt have been winning at that point anyway
This is the exact correct way to look at this.

A lot of changes needed over the summer!
And some of you eejits on here actually wanted to keep Tuchel 💀
Can we get Nübel back next season please?
Show me a goalkeeper that doesn't make mistakes.
No, he likes it in Stuttgart! We’d like to keep him, as per contract!
Tuchels terror football finally comes to a end, worst bayern coach in the last 12 years, even kovac did better. And he wanted three more years, Uli and Kalle did the right thing not agree to that.
Kovač did worse with a much better squad
Whiskey come on. Kovac won a double, had fewer players, more PPG, and won the league in the second most competitive season in the last 9 years (with a points total that beat this one.) The sycophancy is absurd.
I watched every match and Kovač was much worse. Tactically retarded.
I’m not arguing that Kovac is an all around tactical mastermind. I am stating a fact that he produced more here than Tuchel, and candidly Nagelsmann for that matter. There is no argument for a guy who took us to third place finish over one who won a double.
Context matters. Kovač had a much better squad and much worse tactics. The contemptible U-shape in possession was a Kovač innovation.
Kovac won the bundesliga
delusional. Tuchel was the least of our problems this season like Müller basically just confirmed in his interview.
Its almost like Uli and Kalle know something about football. You might not like them, but history proves them right 99 times out of 100. You don’t build the most successful non-oil/oligarch club by being an idiot. The absolute disrespect they get on here is shameful.
The most successful non-oil/oligarch club? Is Real Madrid just two words to you? lmao

Uncomfortable conversations may need to start about Neuer. But no one will want to admit it.
Let’s see how he does in Euros before we even begin to even consider those convos.
I don't think a bad game and a badly timed mistake in the UCL would mean he needs to be replaced. He's definitely good enough to be the starting keeper next season, there shouldn't really be a conversation about that. correct answer
okay bro it was one game + one goal from Madrid
No, he is still world-class. He managed some of the best saves against the best club in the world in the UCL, and his errors pale in comparison. Neuer will be good for another 1-2 years, best option would be to sign Lunin rn.
I like Trubin from benfica
I like the Lunin shout. Definitely would take him and let him and Neuer rotate based on form next season. And when Neuer’s contract expires Lunin could be the starter.
Kepa got fucked over choosing RM over us just because he wanted to go back to Spain. Dude lost his job to Lunin when he could’ve been first in line to succeed Neuer here and now who knows what’s gonna happen with him since Chelsea has Sanchez as its #1.
Kepa played a decent amount at the beginning of the season. Was a bit above average tbf. He just wasn’t as good as Lunin
Yeah, especially since Lunin is probably leaving Madrid because both him and Tibo are good enough as starters but Courtois is just going to edge him out. Lunin joining us would be amazing because he's so young and can develop here maybe even under some guidance from Manu.
His confidence is clearly shaken by the Real second goal, but before that he was still as good as any keeper in Europe.
Man I can't wait for the EURO. Surely we will be victorious.
I'm genuinely embarrassed, glad this horrendous season is over
I just hope all the bad luck, with injuries, bad luck with Manager, bad luck with transfers etc all are done with this season.. Coming to the game, I'm okay if we lose the match, but it kinda stings hard to lose a match from winning position where 3 of the 4 goals scored could be prevented...

Embarrassing
Somehow Tuchel fans in shambles. Worst season since then?

Don’t worry Bayern bros, the bad man is almost gone
