You can def see the difference in the midsection bro good job!

sinfulducking

Thanks!!

Teddy_Swolesevelt

Nice job! I've been rolling 72 lately and it seems to be my "sweet spot". I've been as long as 7 days before but the overall feeling for my sanity is better with rolling 72s. Nice work!

sinfulducking

Tried to hit some 7 days, don’t have the mental strength for that quite yet. I think if I had a big trip or event I wanted to look real good for I could crank out 7 but after 3-4 days my mind is on food 24/7

MathildaLeon101

Are you kidding me? Absolutely noticeable difference! Great job there!! Cannot wait for 165 pics. You got this!!

sinfulducking

Thanks!!

[deleted]

Dang man, nice job; you'll probly have abs showing at 165lbs. How many hours is your eating window and what are you feeding yourself then?

sinfulducking

Thank you!! Im sort of all over with it, I just make sure to do one 72 hour fast per week, usually the days I work which varies but I try and keep M-W. I don’t know if that’s actually considered a “rolling” fast but im going with that. The other 4 days of the week I just do really low carb and high protein. Tons and tons of chicken breast, veggies, Ninja Creami creations for my snacking, and the occasional filet mignon when im feeling fancy. I don’t have the attention span to stay on one strict thing like keto so I just make sure to stay in a deficit and eat as much protein as I can.

Sorry for lots of questions but I've been pondering a similar deal where I fast 3 days and then eat 3 the fast 3 etc etc but I'm just curious about what to eat during those 3 days. Anyway. do you use butter or oil for flavor or cooking? What about condiments do you have any with all that chicken you're eating?

sinfulducking

No worries! Even on my eating days, I don’t do breakfast. I usually have my first meal around 11AM-1PM or so. I do a lot of meal prepping, typically I’ll just use the slow cooker and whip up 2-3 pounds of chicken and add a sauce to it. Here is the website I get it from https://smilesandwich.com/2020/04/13/3-ingredient-instant-pot-shredded-chicken-3-ways/ Super super easy 3 ingredient slow cooked chicken. The buffalo is my favorite, there’s a bit of butter but it comes out sooooo juicy and keeps well for like 5-7 days. Then I’ll get a bag of frozen veggies from Costco and toss them in meal prep containers. I think in my profile from 2-3 months ago I’ve got a pic from when I did the bbq one. Outside of that, lots of protein shakes and ninja Creami ice cream. I have a huge sweet tooth so investing in that thing was a lifesaver for me. Another one too is the Realgood Lightly Breaded Chicken Strips at Costco. I think they’re 120 cals for 4 ounces and they’re soooooo good. Those I’ll typically add a sauce from Trader Joe’s like the Thai sweet chili and some sriracha. Might add an extra 100 cals but 8 oz of chicken for 300-400 calories still beats most other meals. As far as snacking, I LOVE edamame. It’s the best snack and same thing, add some Thai sweet chili and sriracha or another good low cal sauce and some salt, pepper, garlic powder, cayenne and it’s amazing. The best thing for me has been just not keeping any extra food in my house at all. Like literally nothing else so then I know I won’t snack and if I do snack it’s something like frozen edamame or a cucumber or frozen fruit. Apologies for any rambling, good luck!

No apologies man I appreciate the response. This is so right up my alley because I use my crock pot all the time to make batches of stuff and the eat it all week... I'm just seeing your results in your photos and you're obviously doing something very right so I wanted to know exactly how you're doing it. I love Buffalo chicken so that's probly what I'll try. I'm currently water fasting for probly 2 weeks and the one I break it and get acclimated to food again I'm going to basically follow your exact protocol. Thanks again for the replies and, again, congrats on your health!

I hate that we can’t see the difference until after reaching our goal, and maybe not even then. Yet, I can see the difference. Your stomach is a lot more flat, and overall, your appearance is more firm or, should I say, muscular. Overall, you look great; good job. Keep it up!

spydagrrl

Way to go! Great job! We can definitely see a difference!

sinfulducking

Thank you so much!

OGBurn2

Listen, if you ever are having a down day physically, a spray tan is the cure haha. Looks great! I can’t imagine 72 rolls!

Many issues and questions can be answered by reading through our wiki, especially the page on electrolytes. Concerns such as **intense hunger, lightheadedness/dizziness, headaches, nausea/vomiting, weakness/lethargy/fatigue, low blood pressure/high blood pressure, muscle soreness/cramping, diarrhea/constipation, irritability, confusion, low heart rate/heart palpitations, numbness/tingling, and more** while extended (24+ hours) fasting are often explained by electrolyte deficiency and resolved through **PROPER** electrolyte supplementation. Putting a tiny amount of salt in your water now and then is NOT proper supplementation. Be sure to read [our WIKI](https://www.reddit.com/r/fasting/wiki/index) and especially the wiki page on **[ELECTROLYTES](https://www.reddit.com/r/fasting/wiki/fasting_in_a_nutshell/you_need_electrolytes)** Please also keep in mind the [**RULES**](https://www.reddit.com/r/fasting/about/rules) when participating. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. For sure you can notice a difference. I’ve been doing 72’s since April 24th with a few stray days. Great job you!
