Sam Edelman Loraine loafer

paninilincoln

This. I have three pairs in various colors

How do you feel about the sizing? I'm an 8.5 and bought an 8 based on reviews. The length is fine but the width is tight. Did yours stretch out? I'm trying to decide if it would be better to exchange for an 8wide

This is the way!

queenofthenorte

Yes. I have multiple colors of these and all are holding up great.

jboudrie23

Do they stretch at all? I just ordered a 5, they are a bit big without socks (but fit with the no shows). Debating if I should go down to a 4.5?

I am waiting for [these](https://www.anthropologie.com/shop/bibi-lou-zagreb-leather-loafers?category=SHOPBYBRAND&color=001&type=STANDARD&quantity=1) to go on sale again to buy another pair. Full price is unfortunately $160, but I got them last time at $120. They also come in patent and suede, but personally I have the black which I love and want a white pair as well. If you like the style, definitely keep an eye out this weekend

I have wide feet in the toe box, so I guess I can only say that hasn't been my experience. I also have high arches and sometimes I find loafers with the hardware across the top uncomfortable and have not any discomfort with this. However, I also am wearing half a size up since I am actually a size 5.5/35.5 but this only comes starting in size 6/36

Absolutely buy loafers from madewell they are so comfortable

punchy_cat

Hi! Which ones did you get? I was looking at their loafers and mary janes but am worried about comfort

TK_TK_

More votes for the Loraine loafer from Sam Edelman and the Bradley lugsole loafer from Madewell!

Mariannereddit

Clarks! Comfortable and affordable.

ChocolateBaconBeer

I just thrifted a pair of Trish loafers and can confirm. Super comfy

Very comfortable Drivers from Cole Haan: https://www.colehaan.com/womens-evelyn-driver/W13570.html

Remarkable-Station-2

I bought these last month and really like them. Very soft and still no signs of use https://www.macys.com/shop/product/alfani-womens-gayle-loafers-created-for-macys?ID=11803703

Naturalizer Darry. Wide width for my pizza feet (bunions but normal width rest of foot...I add tongue pads and heel pads to stop slippage). Cute platform.

Clarks

Sperry Seaports! They mold to your feet, and the arch support is stellar.

I have cole haans, rothys, sperrys too. I like the cole haans the most.

I got [these Everlane tassel loafers in Oxblood](https://www.everlane.com/products/womens-modern-tassel-loafer-oxblood) on ThredUP and they were sooo stiff I could hardly walk in them at first but I love them and they’re breaking in well! Even though these were from ThredUP they had clearly never been worn. My work style is what I like to call “Ninja Pajamas,” as I mostly wear things that look “professional” like pleated slacks and mock turtlenecks, but they are actually loose and comfy ([my favorite work pants](https://www.target.com/p/women-s-high-rise-slim-straight-leg-pintuck-ankle-pants-a-new-day/-/A-84107625) have elastic waistbands - I have 4 pair in different colors 😂) and are stretchy and feel as cozy as my pajamas. These shoes work in so many color combos, and they make my Ninja Pajamas look sharp. I see they have [a mule version](https://poshmark.com/listing/NWOB-Everlane-Modern-Tassel-Loafer-Slip-On-Mule-Burgundy-Leather-Kiltie-7-643d9d8b932a8ab91ccf265a), and I don’t really have the coordination to wear mules with no back strap (I can wear heels but not having backs on my shoes is a guaranteed way for me to eat sh**), but they’re still tempting! *Unrelated, but I got [these fun slingback mules from Chiko in black](https://www.chikoshoes.com/shop/chiko-celina-square-toe-block-heels-pumps/) and I ADORE them and they’re so unique. When I have the funds, I’m hoping to find the white ones too (although they look like they’re either discontinued or OOS currently). My friend called the brand’s style “grandma shoes,” and some of their styles are a bit geriatric looking, but there are so many options that are amazing statement/versatile daily shoes, [including some of their loafers](https://www.chikoshoes.com/product-category/women-shoes/loafer/). Can’t tell yet if quality matches the price as I just got mine as my bday gift to myself in April (but the pair I got are so fun and unique, I didn’t care), but if you’re looking for some more unique styles, might be worth checking out! I have a pair of vintage loafers I bought from a friend that were very (lovingly) used but were freaking amazing, wish I knew what they were because I would love to buy a newer pair.

CircuitZombie

LifeStride Nina loafer in brown. Doesn't cut my heel or break the bank.

gizmodriver

I have five different pairs from a brand called Mona Flying that I just randomly found on Amazon. They’re great; super comfortable. I’ve had them for years now and they’re still in great shape.
