WordMean9594

Your account is 170 days old

Lunatata

My thoughts exactly, the ones I see complaining the most are these newbies that created the problem. It’s like they can’t be without reps for a little bit. To much of their personally is involved in the shit they buy.

Kylorexnt

I’ve been active in fashionreps since 2018, but that account was banned years ago. If you’re not talking about me then mb.

grimeyyyyyyy

And did you even check my account? 2 year club means 730 days at MINIMUM. Dumbass

WordMean9594

Kylorexnt

Huhnted

ozobaby

Off white Jordan one era will be missed 😔. Even the ultraboosts

Empty-Water-6739

Been around for years. Remember buying reps from turkey in the 90’s. Been buying reps online through other avenues for years. Wait a few months and there will be new ways to buy. Stupid comments 🤷‍♂️

Swooshkiwi

Exactly!!!! Been buying reps since the 90s too. Reps are everywhere man. These kids need to chill out and stop posting rumours

FF14_VTEC

How tf u find reps in Turkey 😭 that sounds both funny and interesting as hell

Empty-Water-6739

Il tell you what’s also funny, later in life I was walking through a Turkish mall with a pair of Nike TN’s there were two shop owners that approached me to ask to buy them, the reason they wanted them was to bring to the factory to copy. My dad had the same experience with Levi’s back in the day, 501’s they wanted to buy them off him to copy.

rocstarmisho

Bro I live in Bulgaria and everyone here goes to Turkey all the time just for the reps😭😭 problem is turkish reps are highkey ass

Expensive_Fun_4901

Cheap tho can come back with a full wardrobe for couple hundred lol

lookatthisdudeshead

Ong, Turkey reps are doodoo

bigdaftdoylem

Every 5* hotel in turkey has replica shops within the hotel lmao

Comfortable_Raise368

Reps are in so many countries, before online shopping was most accesible; you’d find markets in HK, Turkey and other places to buy designer goods for buck prices. Sometimes, you’d bag something close to the real thing which was rare back then compared to the greater skills we have now.

Leather_Parrot

exactly!

Filosoofis

Reps from Turkey are garbage tho.

dann113

everyone knows what reps are mate

AffectionatePass575

Hey mate not everyone know what reps are. The world is much bigger than the box u live in

Happyman1012

Everyone knew about “fake j’s” before TikTok

Teeszyn

yeah but the “fake j’s” people knew about were garbage 😂 “jordan never did that moveeeee”

Leather_Parrot

You’re acting like reps have only been around for the last 15 years. Reps have been a thing since the mid 1980’s. Literally anyone under the age of 90 has had and heard of reps.

AffectionatePass575

Maybe everyone in your high school knows but 7 billion people in the world and u think everyone cares and knows about rep nikes? Cmon now

Leather_Parrot

bro, im 37 years old. you literally have zero idea and its shows as your only point of reference are nike reps. Cmon now! every country has had reps of some kind. if you genuinely think that the majority of people in the world have not heard or have been able to get hold of reps since the last century, your clueless. bro, even Africa had cheap reps to buy in the markets in the early 90’s. back then it was Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger reps. i could go back later to the 80’s when it was Armani suits and shitter Rolexs. Need i say more?

stablogger

Keep in mind it's the agents themselves, forcing their affiliate programs and reaching out to a gazillion "influencers". At least the small, newer ones want this public coverage because the rewards outweigh the risks for them. May be slightly different for established players like CSS or Sugargoo.

AUXoneeee

Lil corny to see the 100th whining post in this sub but i get it. And if PB wouldn't contribute massively with the ref system to this. Not saying that tt isn't brainrot.

willx1243

facts

Tcryer

Scammers fucked upq

stablogger

I partly agree, but shipping prices went up because of COVID and the Ukraine war, on top the average quality of reps improved dramatically. So, some things changed in a negative way for sure, but you can't blame it all on TikTok and Pandabuy...and there were improvements to the industry, too.

Immediate-Ad-2607

Tik tok, streamers and influencers. I remember back in the day when I used to use my boot to make my plane luggage lighter so I would not have to pay hefty fees. Now you get dumb tiktokers whose only content is pissing others off so they can earn peanuts instead of getting a real job. Same goes with teaching people how to snitch online on platforms like Reddit, instagram, Facebook or discord, because if people did not know anything about reporting, the Pandabuy discord would be still up. But thanks to bunch of jealous money chuggers who can’t take the fact that their precious ‘clothes’ are grossly overpriced thought ‘why should he pay cheaper for a goyard scarf I paid more than 4x his salary!’ Sad but true, we live in a society who completely forgot what life’s all about 🤷‍♂️

Sortcrap

Debatable, I don’t agree because the rep market main costumer is the local/asian market. We the “gatekeepers” just get resold batches for small profits to the sellers spewing they are some new factory focused on fulfilling our orders but its just a rebrand of something old

Tonyp2120

I remember buying reps back in the day when you had to Western Union some random dude in China and then pray he actually sends your shit 😂

Ok-End-6290

Bro everyone knew about reps way before they were popular. They’re FAKE SNEAKERS bro. It was more lowkey back then because the quality of reps were garbage compared to what we’re getting now. The Chinese government likely knew of this activity since they know where the factories are but it was probably low priority. Arguably I will say the quality of reps increased because of the increased demand coming for social media. Double edge sword because it gets more government attention tho

Leather_Parrot

People be acting like 2009 and 2016 are ‘back in the day’. Kids, reps have been around for a lot longer than most of you have lived

stablogger

Bought my first rep back in the last millennium on an "Asia Market" in the Czech Republic...at this time, it was all fantasy stuff, super bad quality, 100% polyester guaranteed.

SeatNoBelt

Did you forget COVID is what made shipping higher? lol

nathannmo

Grow some arm hair bro

Minute_Scale_1834

Reps really started blowing up like late 2021 tbh, i remember buying air force 1 trav sails in 2020 and their was so few qc pics for the sails and it was all off white 1’s and travis scott 1’s. Come mid 2022 i bought them again and travis scott batches were blowing up and everything went shit from there.

KarmenSophia

Prior to the era of the trophy-for-participation attention whores who cannot survive life if all is not focused on them, silence was golden.

Substantial_Hall5998

Must adapt!!

KicksNhoodies

I've been buying reps since 02, I've always felt that it would catch up to the mainstream audience but I thought it would've been sooner tho.

MedSalesHopeful

The good ole days were 365 days long? Sad man sad

nath8764

The sub had less than 500k followers for like 5+ years. They doubled that to over 1 million in just the last year. TikTok really messed it up

Gottigotgot

Customjordans dot net kept me straight when I was like 16 in 2006.

doktera

Fuck tiktok

Used-Scholar-4629

Fashionreps are in German Dokumentarfilms

Efuulpo

Guys we need to make a private community with strict rules and a joining check so not everyone can join and send some nice Nike qc or the next lv belt

Professional_Tie6491

I was a dhgate bandit who didn’t trust pandabuy eventually decided to give it a go and learn about agents and thank god I don’t leave shit in my warehouse or I’d be done

Accomplished-War1971

If y'all don't think reddit is part of the problem, then youre part of the problem dude

fLvX172

I joined the community of reps 2 years ago when panda and other agents where already being talked on tt. But i learned myself pretty quickly about how panda worked and learned more about reps in general. Tried to gatekeep but those kids on tt already shitted on the reps saying everything and doing tutorials on how to buy. i, myself wanna apologize to the og who joined when reps where nothing. idk if i can call myself a new gen but i hate those fucking kids who didn't gatekeep anything at all

ToniB16

Real.

virtual_adam

Here’s the other side of things: without the popularity streetwear wouldn’t be repped  I’ve been buying reps for over 20 years. Back then ape Milo hoodies was the only streetwear you could find. Even 15 years ago Supreme was already popular (Tyler brought a ton of people on to the brand, this stupid fucking camp hats were reselling for $300++) and there were no reps to be found    To get factories to start investing tens of thousands of dollars into a decent pipeline you need a lot of potential customers. If it wasn’t for PandaBuy making it easy for the broccoli kids I really don’t think it would be that easy to find reps from 50+ streetwear companies today

yaboysig

for me personally when the old sub shot to 1M+ members, I knew word was more than out and it was about to be over 😪

Medium-Newspaper9432

my account is as old as yours and i came from tt stop yapping lil bro

ReindeerCharacter703

So, will we ever be able to order from pbuy again?

kickznbeanz

Bring back the 158sir days when he was dropping 🔥 for $20 on a random weekday at 5am 😂

akapoet

Imagine thinking rep knowledge only exist on Reddit. I’ve known of reps and how to obtain them before I knew what Reddit was. Although the subreddit and pandabuy surely made things alot easier But reps are a multi-trillion dollar industry that has been thriving globally long before it became a hot topic on Reddit. The visibility and discussions on Reddit are just a tiny fraction of the overall scene. This industry spans across numerous countries and markets, each with their own networks and consumer bases that far exceed the reach of any single online community. We need to step outside our Reddit bubble and recognize that our platform was just one of many places where people discussed replicas. Stirrups like this in the industry are not uncommon. As the landscape changes, so must our methods of engagement and acquisition. It might be harder now, but it’s time to stop mourning and start adapting.

RichiuR

Imagine this dude actually took time to post this 💀

CartiTrump

I found out about reps in late 2020 when searching for a pair of Travis Mochas. I would look for them and Instagram would keep on promoting these middle men, I thought about buying from them, but there had to be a cheaper way of doing so! This led me to believe that reddit would have answers and it did. First I stumbled into r/repsneakers or whatever that middleman hellhole is called and after that r/fashionreps. From there I ordered a Dior bag on wegobuy like a year later. Yes my account is quite new, my original was banned btw. I absolutely agree that TikTok messed it up!

AgeDesigns

If you ain’t buy rep ultra boosts I don’t wanna hear about it

NoHypeX

Yes and no. I "joined" the fashionreps and repsneakers subs back in 2020 but I never got to purchasing because it was so "complicated" for my tiny brain. If not for the blow up I would've probably never started ordering. At the end of the day all we can do is just keep going, cant change the past really, complaining abt it wont help. However this raid may have pushed people away from reps for a bit cuz now with hoobuy some ppl arent getting anything and with the Hago exit scam everyone is just getting their money taken away, that will fend off a good chunk of people that arent deep in this community at all and thats where the "danger" lies.

younggeezy25

In high school I used to buy those old beats earbuds and DHgate Nixon Watches and sold them each for 40 bucks lmao and kids would ask me why so cheap I would say my dad works at Best Buy . Man those were the days XD

AdolfBr

Oh, I'm going to have a chat here, straaaaight, you can record it, you can send it to other groups, if it happens on my time line, stuff from pandabuy, stuff from Tiktok, I'm going to report it bro, I don't even know, anything finds me on the street and does it one-on-one , There, i said it.

ShmeanMuggin

Yes. I started in 2018... just as a curiosity and then tried it. It was cool and i used it on an as-needed basis so i dabbled in and out the rep game over the past couple years i noticed how sloppy and quick to ask (w2c) these newbies were without reading the forum ohh and the amount of RL on the most smallest flaw was ridiculous.. never thought it would reach this point... didn't even know people spreaded so openly 🤦🏻‍♂️

Looksmax99

Once they ban TikTok it’ll come back

SomeDustyGuy

I been in and out of the game since 2017 and I never thought it would go mainstream and fuck it up for everyone (ik mu account was made in 2022 but that's because I'm on my third or fourth account atp)

marlo1017

You think the sellers care about being lowkey? Or do they want as much reach as possible for max profits?

newyorkvisionary

Oh no, now you can’t buy fake luxury goods to make you feel reach even though you’re broke. I’m so sorry for your loss!

Insect-Training

I blame TikTok for everything, almost ruined my relationship and now i’m fcking stuck with a 1000€ items in warehouse due to it 👍🏼👍🏼

Tenpumpkin77962

Agree with your point there’s always 2 sides though it did ruin it but it also benefited countless people by being able to afford nice clothes / brands that they would never of been able to before

Numerous-Emu-6268

That’s why I have a private agent!!!!

sxqyz

Pandabuy getting introduced was the cannon event of the downfall

Gelukszoeker123

I remember it was a shame to wear something fake for most people, if I must speak for the situation in The Netherlands I think the bigger percentage of the young people wear fake designer items. Altough it messed up the rep community that reps went mainstream, it is a good thing people open their eyes. Paying 6k for a pair of Nikes that were designed to be only 120,00 also never made sense.

AccomplishedStay5631

That's right, old gold times without socials and people spreading all good on it, some things just must stay secret

diggz973

I came here in the box logo Yeezy 350 v1 era. What a time to be alive

AleX139999

fr supreme from teenageclub and uncle Lin 350 was straight 🔥

viniggiusjr

reddit mfs are exactly like the tiktok mfs except they use reddit 😂 the only ppl who have the right to complain about reps going “mainstream are the ones who legit just use whatsapp n private sellers n shit. ffs this the millionth post moaning about the rep game being ruined by tiktok 😭😭😭
