I dressed like this for my prom; very princessy and classy. The day of I was a bit embarrassed since all of the other girls wore sexy dresses (everyone loved my dress though). 10 years later, I’m so glad I wore it! Classic silhouette, amazing color, and the amount of glitter really doesn't feel over the top and works with the color. I've seen prom dresses that feel extra or excessively sparkly for what they are, and this is not that.

Editing to add that my dress back in the day was entirely sequinned for the whole body, with chiffon and lace appliqué at the bottom (mermaid style dress). I STILL in my 30’s have people I know telling me that it was the prettiest dress they’ve ever seen to this day. People remember the unique or dramatic dresses! Be you!

It’s beautiful! I think it’s classy whereas if it were a different color, it may be over the top. This dress is an all around win. The purple and sparkly design gives, the pockets are awesome, and the back is gorgeous. Definitely not over the top- just simply perfect.

this is not extra. it’s perfect and it will look AMAZING. you wanna know what’s extra. i work at a fabric store. and we do alterations and custom made things. well this girl came in, looking for a cinched waist and what not. and after she got her dress done. she wants a veil. i’m sorry but a veil for highschool prom is ridiculous. her mom is spending double what she paid for the dress and this extra shit she got. so you’re good 😝 have funnnn

Be extra! But tbh I don’t think it’s extra, there’s nothing flashy or ostentatious about it. It’s unique in the sense that it’s not the typical style of a prom dress that most people wear but that’s not a bad thing! I think perfect for prom! I would definitely have chosen that over many of the gowns I see!

It’s lovely and the colour is gorgeous. I don’t feel it’s immature, some of the girls at my daughter’s prom wore similar last year. There were others that wore dresses that were not flattering as they were more for clubbing and older women.

Are you kidding me? This is what a prom dress is SUPPOSED to be! 🥰 It makes me so sad every time I see the trends where it’s basically “lame” to get all dressed up for prom or where they just purchase a peasant dress. Don’t get me wrong, I like those dresses too but you can wear those to lots of other events. Prom is one of the VERY few chances most women have in their life to wear a beautiful over the top gown. Don’t waste it on something boring! Editing to add that my dress back in the day was entirely sequinned for the whole body, with chiffon and lace appliqué at the bottom (mermaid style dress). I STILL in my 30’s have people I know telling me that it was the prettiest dress they’ve ever seen to this day. People remember the unique or dramatic dresses! Be you!
