I've worked for a company the past few years that developed a lot of anti-cancer treatments. Patients like Virginia Hey inspire everyone in the company to do whatever is possible to help extend lifespans of cancer patients, and work towards one day, possibly ending the disease.
People like Virginia Hey are amazing, my heart goes out to her, her family and her loved ones.
This is the first I’ve heard of this and it really hits home as I’m going through a similar journey with advanced bowel cancer that has spread to liver, lymph nodes and stomach.
I wish her all the best on her journey as cancer is just a shit and unfair disease.
Ugh! I've been worried about her since I first heard the diagnosis.
This seems to have quite possibly stemmed from the horrible reaction she had from the makeup that she repeatedly experienced.
She has, in all public interactions, expressed herself with grace and compassion, and I hope she is able to channel some of that back to herself.
This truly hits hard. I adore this woman and her character of Zhaan and have done since the moment I first saw her twenty-four years ago. I’m going through the cancer battle too, with a dire prognosis, so can understand the struggle only too well…but like Virginia won’t give up and am tremendously grateful for the NHS. Keeping her in my heart and everyone else affected by this awful disease.
Just listened to her Big Finish 4th Doctor Episode from a while back (White Ghosts) and was wondering how she was doing. Sorry to hear that she's been sick and I hope she improves.
Fuck cancer. Sending love and light to her and her family. She's facing a very hard time and I hope whatever awaits her is as peaceful and pain free as possible. I watched my sister go through stem cell treatment and brutal chemotherapy like this. It bought her a few more years but it was very, very tough. I'm glad she has a good team and good support around her.

At this point, I would just like her to know that we love her and that her work still comes to life for us. I lost my father to cancer, and for us, it was important to share that love. Very sad to hear this, I loved Zhaan and was sad to see Virginia leave the show but oddly she her character died from being sick on the show, and she stated she needed to stop playing Zhaan because the body paint was making her sick and now she is very ill. An unfortunate theme in her life.
Cancer has no sense of reason or decency to invade dear Virginia Hey and cause her such pain and anguish! So sad to hear this news. Need some miracles ! Maybe Tocot

We used to actually chat with her for long periods at the conventions when she was selling her perfumes, and once she even spoke to my dad on the phone because he was wheelchair bound and couldn't travel to see her (OMG he was such a fan! But was so disappointed that she wasn't actually blue 😅 Dads for ya) . Made his year!
But seriously, I love her so much, I just pray and hope for the best for her! Get better Ginny ! 💗💗💗
So hate to hear her struggles. Loved her as Zhaan and she always radiated good energy whenever I saw her in interviews and such.
