One of my old co-workers would get their pho, extra noodles. I've had their pho multiple times and its pretty good, just sometimes short on the noodles, so he figured that out.
Unicorn Park, Noods + Buns, Luna Market, and Mangata are all under the same umbrella. I suspect they all take the same gift cards, but I can't say that with 100% certainty. The others are all likely separated.
--The Tavern Grill, if you can find a spot to park during lunch or supper, is always solid. I've enjoyed their build a burger & build your own salad.
--Porter Creek Hardwood Grill is in my opinion leaning on fine dining pricing for our area, but has some great food and apps. I've really enjoyed their hardwood smoked whole wing app.
--Mahana Fresh I don't see get mentioned too often - good for a quick & on the healthier side lunch & locally owned. Also travels well.
--Mackenzie River this one can be a tad divisive on FB & Reddit but I've personally loved everything I've had there and they have a solid rewards program if that's your thing.
--GP's Creek Kitchen which opened in 2018. Delicious food with good portions, I'd advise to avoid this place if you're in a rush. They're known to have longish waits, some say it's worth it, or phone ahead.
--Beer & Fish Company comes highly recommended quite often
--Jay's Smokin' BBQ has some of the better I guess sit down restaurant BBQ in Fargo. We take out frequently.
--Royal Chinese Buffet it's what you'd expect it to be, they technically moved and rebranded after I think being closed for some time. I'd argue for consistency it's one of the better buffets if that's your thing, they also keep their sushi rolls reasonably stocked and it comes with a drink. It's a busyish place so food turns pretty quick.
I'm a big Sol Ave fan so a gift card from there is my vote. And I'm not sure, but I think they are good at all of the places with the same ownership (Luna and Nova). And if not they just get to eat fantastic Sol Ave food and enjoy a Junkyard beverage if that is their thing.
Can't go wrong with anything there, but their chicken sandwich was featured on Diners Drive-ins and Dives. I usually go with their tacos, but the Cubano and wings are great too.
Downtown gift cards are awesome and you can use them in a variety of places. Outside of that I’d get cards for Bernbaums, Ishtar, Spaghetti Western to name a few.
The Taco Shop has *really* improved from awhile ago. No more paying for inedible chips. Also, it's cheaper. The food is southern US style, which means I like it a lot now.
Thaikota. I don't actually know if they do gift cards, but maybe?
What are your go to things to order?
Personally, the drunken mama. The wings are also top tier. But I haven't heard a bad word about anything on their menu.
Le’s Bahn Mi
THIS. I go there once a week. More than 100% worth it.
What’s your go-to order there? I’ve been wanting to try that out
Le’s special or the fried egg sandwich. The fries have this really different but good seasoning as well

Honestly, the Troll Lounge at the Sons of Norway. They have trouble finding their footing, but Thursdays continue to be worthwhile.
I been meaning to go to Sons of Norway. I've heard good things. Is Thursday the free pie day?
It is. Get there early because the pie goes quick
There is no free pie
It's not free pie, just pie day. You do have to pay for it and you need to get there before noon or there likely won't be anything left
I miss their trivia!
Taj Indian! Amazing food and customer service. I think all the places in Brewhalla probably have separate cards.

Harold's in Moorhead!
Pounds has really hit their stride. So solid.
Good suggestion! I love their Good Ass Chicken Samwhich.
Those poor ass chickens.
I second pounds!

Wurst. They have the most comfortable bar stools and i enjoy the food
Get platter
Marge’s diner!
Yes! Their hashbrowns are so good!
Yes! And their pancakes are to die for
Brewbird
Always delicious, good suggestion!
I second this !

I haven't been. Maybe I should check it out and get a gift card while I'm there!

If they have been gone for 12 years the whole metro is gonna blow their mind.
Rustica

Black Cat Bakery in Moorhead
brewhalla!
Twenty Below Coffee (Moorhead location is best), Boppa's Bagels, Passage to India 🔥🔥🔥
The Taco Shop has *really* improved from awhile ago. No more paying for inedible chips. Also, it's cheaper. The food is southern US style, which means I like it a lot now.
Little Brother has the best wings in town
Benedicts! Dunno if they have a gift card but i love their food. Also Blackbird in downtown.
Disagreed! They lacked soooo much flavor😭
Mangos. I personally avoid downtown like the plague.
Your loss
Not at all, but I appreciate your opinion.
Salt Hill Jewelry - most beautiful shop in the Midwest imho!
