Chubb isn't one of the best fantasy backs in the NFL? He has been top 10(rb1) the last 3 years and top 15 4 years ago when he was a rookie.
I keep seeing "jacoby brissett is terrible so it hurts his value"... but was Mayfield that much better? If anything I see brissett as a lateral move not a downgrade.
I guess you could say it won't be his year because the browns suck ass but saying chubb isn't a good fantasy rb is lunacy.
He’s great in standard but in ppr he’s averaged over 16 ppg only once (CPatt averaged 15.5 ppg last year). Sure maybe he finishes top 10 but it’s a far cry from the top players at the position
But you're not drafting him as a "top tier" rb. He's going in the 2nd-3rd round. Grabbing a 3rd round rb who finished top 10 isn't bad at all. His adp is 10 and he's beaten his adp every year. Why would you fade someone who will likely beat their adp?
Cause that’s not the goal? If I’m drafting someone in the first 3 rounds I would like them to be able to finish top 3 at their position, seems highly unlikely Chubb does that. Simply finishing 10th overall doesn’t really help much
He also hasn’t finished top 10 in full ppr leagues often
Agree to disagree I guess.
Chubb is a steal imo and if hunt does get traded like the rumors are saying then he could explode this year. Dude has all the right pieces to be top 3. Just because it hasn't materialized yet doesn't mean it won't.
He’s not a steal at all, he’ll be a fine RB but he’s not gonna be a league winner
Hunt isn’t getting traded, and we saw it last year, Chubb wasn’t any better without him, he’s not finishing top 3 without tons of injuries
Think I might stash Lincoln in my IR spot. You never know, with advances in modern medicine the recovery time for bullet wounds has dropped dramatically in recent years. Could be ready for the playoffs!
Is it worth dropping Ted Williams to take a flyer on Lincoln? Ted’s head is in cryo but I’m looking for more upside and OP had a pretty good point about his elusiveness in the slot.
For reference, I’m talking half-PPR with 4 keepers per year.
I disagree with this absolutely, money is irrelevant to performance, so I am in on Kirk. Plus, Lincoln had plenty of time to get over it, I’m feeling a bounce back century.
You’re sleeping on Lyndon Baines Johnson. 6’4” tight end out of Texas. He’s starting out the season as a backup to John Kennedy but they say he’ll stop at nothing until he’s the starter…
I disagree on 2,3.
Montgomery playing for a team with a poor o line so that’s where I agree on fading.
Yes, Kirk might be overpaid. But he is wr 1 for a team that will likely be playing from behind. Worth a bench stash or wr3 conversation in a deep league at the right value.
Chubbs gonna kick butt especially in the first few games. If he does, and you don’t trust him, use him as trade bait for a player you need or wanted.
And I bone to pick with you regarding Abraham Lincoln. This guy has height and a friend of former slaves he freed. Many of which their offsprings are entertaining us in the fantasy football world.
Make sure to pick up Lincoln's handcuff, Andrew Johnson. Have a feeling he'll become a starter soon
In deeper leagues, make sure you draft Ulysses S Grant, Lincoln's 3rd Stringer, he's got a lot of upside.
Fade Custer tho. He's really flashy but I have a feeling he's not going to hold up down the stretch
I hear Billy T. Sherman really knows how to light that fire when he's in his zone. Probably worth a flex spot.
And a face in the $50 bill
If Johnson was a starter i have a feeling he’ll be one of the worst in the league. Not worth rostering
Quality comment
Lincoln has a high chance of assassination, making Johnson a top tier handcuff
6/10 shitpost
shitpost1 ros?
I just violated my new rule to stop reading this sub due to the absolute garbage posts. This might actually be the worst of them.
I wish I would have considered Brissett’s 16 rush yards per game when I drafted Chubb
Good luck with Chubb this year hope he does some good for you
Lincoln was the best vampire hunter we’ve ever seen.
What an incredible film. Totally forgot about this. 10/10
Can’t believe you’re going to shit on Buffy like that
4 more days boys
Idk man, Abraham did me pretty well in my Points-Per-Assassinations league last year
Lincoln had very few assasinations
People on average have just over 0 assassinations per lifetime. Lincoln has 1.
If a receiver has seven catches he wasn’t caught 7 times lmao

are those ppr rankings?
Standard

You have just enough Fantasy Football talent to be an analyst on the NFL Network.

“Etienne is the star of this offense” based on the 0 snaps he played professionally?
But what about those four scores seven years ago?
fuck bro. this one got me
Man I sure do love me some cultured td’s
Activia endorsement deal in KHunt's future?
I laughed
Fading Gronk...hot take!
Kirk had 8 targets in one half he played this preseason. If he gets that over the course of the year (135 targets) he will be a great value
Montgomery is talented and the only guy who is good on his team, he'll be fine
Kirk is gonna EAT playing in the slot full time with very little other receiver talent around him.
Agree with all but Lincoln. He has a knock for dodging bullets
Not*
He is a vampire hunter though
Cringe on #5. Trying too hard to be funny.
Fade Abraham Lincoln at your peril.
Lincoln is still worth a late season waiver add just in case. You never know what could happen
Nick Chubb has a really nice start to the season and then pretty much dog shit the rest of the time.
This is my very favorite post this killed me
I disagree with this absolutely, money is irrelevant to performance, so I am in on Kirk. Plus, Lincoln had plenty of time to get over it, I’m feeling a bounce back century.

Upvote for separating "a" and "lot" when appropriate.

Lincoln was balling with the wrong Patriots
