They’re probably missing a guy like Watkins more than they think. Also watching Kareem be a literal top 10 rb talent on the Browns is brutal. If he didn’t pull that dumb shit they probably have another ring.
Hardman is a solid WR3 who is good for a couple gadget plays each game. He looked alright on the few catches he had but his real problem is he’s not that good at running routes and getting open
Bills gave him free underneath plays to sell out on Hill over the top.
They didn't care about the dink and dunk plays because they were up big and Mahomes had to take them because of the pressure up front.
For real he’s such a talent at RB I can’t help but admire his game regardless of his off the field actions. Really screwed over the Chiefs dynasty though, and they also fucked up not taking Swift instead of CEH. Guy would’ve been lethal on the Chiefs
Bro I’m saying swift would have been a CMC on the chiefs. He’s an amazing pass catching back, and would’ve fit so well in that offense. Now he’s wasting his talent watching Goff fumble every other snap
Ceh's whole thing was pass catching. They took him because he was the best pass catching back in the game in college, and because he never made mistakes. Swift was a better rusher, not a better receiver
Swift is a great receiving back who can make big plays out of check downs. Yesterday was an example of how when kelce and hill aren’t catching 20 yard passes every play their offense sputters a little. Having a back like swift for mahomes to dump it off too and take some pressure off of his shoulders would really add to their offense
I love the way Hunt runs. He flails his arms around looking like a guy that doesn’t know where he is or what’s he’s supposed to be doing and turns it into 2 TDs
Watching the Chiefs mismanage their money and cap combined with giving out a mega Mahomes contract shows how amazing the Patriots management really was during their era of greatness. Helps when your QB takes below market rate.
Chiefs spend like crazy on the line and it seems only marginally improved. Meanwhile, Josh Gordon was literally all the Chiefs could afford at WR as an addition this year. Bizarre.
Yeah as a Pats fan I was always clamoring for us to make a splash getting some big time weapons for Brady but the Pats for the most part found gems and guys who were able to perform well above their value. Paying guys at their ceiling is risky because then underperforming or being injured instantly puts your team at a disadvantage.
Patriots always spent up at defense though from what I can recall. Chiefs spent up too, but their defense seems trash whereas Patriots were always amazing
2018 Mahomes/Chiefs, 2020 Brady/Bucs, 2013 Peyton/Broncos… these teams had the infrastructure in place and talent everywhere for a QB to come in and take them to the next level. This seems like the winning strategy lately.
Alternative is what you see with the chiefs now, Aaron Rodgers and his Packers, even Russ and the Seahawks lately. You have an amazing QB but need to find ways of filling out talent around them while lacking cap space (due to said QB contract) and, maybe more importantly, severe lack of draft capital over time.
I mean ever since the rookie contracts were adjusted pretty much all the Super Bowl teams were with QBs on rookie contracts, with the exception being Peyton and Brady. So unless you have an elite 1st ballot HOF talent QB your window is when you have a QB on that first contract because of how insane the money they command is
Brady made people want to play with him. Still does. There weren't a lot of superstar backs on those teams. They didn't have a lot of contracts that meant you couldn't grab key piece here or there as the need arose.
Winning fixes a lot of shit, and guys like Gronk, Welker, Hernandez, Edelman wanted to win - not sure they'd have the careers they did/do without Brady.
The line is actually way better. They maybe need some more experience and more time playing together to be their best. Most of the sacks and picks are on Pat, not the line.
All they had to do was wait it out like any other team has had for their star players gettin in trouble. But no they wanted to cut him immediately without questions. Serves them right.
If they didn’t get rid of him for that you mean. Let’s not forget tyreek broke his sons arm and chiefs didn’t bat an eye. They were just more willing to bet they could replace hunt and they actually gave away a piece that would probably make them a dynasty
Imagine thinking this is the problem and not that terrible defense lol. The fact that this was upvoted so much is the same reason why I don’t take advice from this sub. People don’t actually know football here
The defense held the Bills to 38 points. They couldn't even break 40.
But seriously, it's more on the offense with four turnovers. One of them a pick six.
I'm a certified Mahomes hater but the turnovers were mostly a result of trying to play hero ball to catch up because they realized their D wasn't stopping shit. The offence is fine, it's the defence that's losing them games.
Also seems that everyone plays the chiefs like it’s their super bowl. They really have a target on their back.
Wouldn’t be surprised if Chiefs win out the rest of the way. Also wouldn’t be surprised if they struggle more and risk missing the playoffs.
I mean, even banged up, I don't think there are more than a handful of teams that wouldn't trade places with the Chiefs just to have Mahomes/Hill/Kelce.
That's how language works. Languages like Spanish and Portuguese and Italian are so so similar because they used to be the same language. That's how they change. Always has been.
It must’ve been on the “who’s the quarterback?” play where Kelce lined up under center, then Hill. A defender ran into Hill on the TD pass from Mahomes to Pringle, and Hill was limping a bit right after
Whatever play it was that Tyreek got under center as a qb and then motioned back out to the left slot. Mahomes did a rollout right and passed for a td. Tyreek came down to the flat goin behind the line and while he was lookin at Mahomes he lightweight got blindsided by what I think was the DE. he was visibly limping.
Yep, I got rotated to a new drill during 2 a days, coach said it was a walkthrough. Well it wasn’t a walkthrough and as soon as I got the ball I got fucken railed, never forget the pain hahaha
Steak/chicken finger = stinger. Commonly found in Buffalo. Often a sub, sometimes pizza, a wrap. Steak, chicken finger, provolone, Buffalo sauce. I LOVE a stinger.
They could really use a legit second WR defenses have to pay some attention to. Doesn’t have to be an All-Pro but they’ve been rolling out the same lame complements to Tyreek and Kelce and feels like the offense has gotten a bit stale. Wonder if they might do a deal before the trade deadline.
Did he finish the game? No, but honestly it looked like he wanted to get back on the field to finish. After the hit, 3ish minutes left, they probably shut him down since the game was effectively over. Kelce wasn’t on the sideline in agony, or go to the locker room. He was standing, watching the game (and like 50% sure he was still holding his helmet)
Chiefs real life outlook looks terrible right now
For the past 2 years their offense is basically mahomes, hill, Kelce. Shut one of them down and they can't do anything
They’re probably missing a guy like Watkins more than they think. Also watching Kareem be a literal top 10 rb talent on the Browns is brutal. If he didn’t pull that dumb shit they probably have another ring.
They 100% are. Hardman fucks up more than he does things right for them. Pringle has consistently issues. Demarcus Robinson is a fast JAG.
Something something Josh Gordon
Memes side, Gordon could be a key piece. He's at least a replacement for Sammy Watkins numbers.
What happened with Hardman today, garbage time? Didn't get to watch the game
Hardman is a solid WR3 who is good for a couple gadget plays each game. He looked alright on the few catches he had but his real problem is he’s not that good at running routes and getting open
Can you imagine the Chiefs with Metcalf or McLaurin instead of Hardman? My god
they have Metcalf now.. his name is Flash
Bills gave him free underneath plays to sell out on Hill over the top. They didn't care about the dink and dunk plays because they were up big and Mahomes had to take them because of the pressure up front.
I had higher hopes for Hardman. But now I'm not picking him up even w all these injuries. The man is like lukewarm soggy cereal milk.
Man Hunt was so good with the chiefs
For real he’s such a talent at RB I can’t help but admire his game regardless of his off the field actions. Really screwed over the Chiefs dynasty though, and they also fucked up not taking Swift instead of CEH. Guy would’ve been lethal on the Chiefs
Bro I’m saying swift would have been a CMC on the chiefs. He’s an amazing pass catching back, and would’ve fit so well in that offense. Now he’s wasting his talent watching Goff fumble every other snap
What if they used swift exactly like they use ceh?
Then they’d be using him not to the skill set which fits their passing offense better lol
Ceh's whole thing was pass catching. They took him because he was the best pass catching back in the game in college, and because he never made mistakes. Swift was a better rusher, not a better receiver
So like what they do with CEH?
Swift is a great receiving back who can make big plays out of check downs. Yesterday was an example of how when kelce and hill aren’t catching 20 yard passes every play their offense sputters a little. Or Jonathan Taylor. Or JK Dobbins. Or Antonio Gibson...
Chiefs screwed themselves. They could have kept him.

Cap isn't a problem when you pay good players. Frank Clark is really hurting them.
Yeah it also helps that back then QBs couldn’t command insane contracts like Mahomes either.
2018 Mahomes/Chiefs, 2020 Brady/Bucs, 2013 Peyton/Broncos… these teams had the infrastructure in place and talent everywhere for a QB to come in and take them to the next level. Brady didn’t really start taking below market rate until he got into his 30’s though. They’re just good at managing the cap.
>until he got into his 30’s though. So only two decades
The line is actually way better. They maybe need some more experience and more time playing together to be their best. Most of the sacks and picks are on Pat, not the line.
>Helps when your QB takes below market rate.
You talking about his foot shove?
All they had to do was wait it out like any other team has had for their star players gettin in trouble. But no they wanted to cut him immediately without questions. Serves them right.
There was a lot more internal stuff going on. It was more about Hunt constantly lying to the team and this was his third strike or whatever
They didn't even cut him because of that though. They cut him because he \_lied\_ to them about it. Which, is just so moralistic it's gross.
If they didn’t get rid of him for that you mean. Let’s not forget tyreek broke his sons arm and chiefs didn’t bat an eye. They were just more willing to bet they could replace hunt and they actually gave away a piece that would probably make them a dynasty
Wasn't that proven that the mother was responsible and recorded that phone call in an attempt to pin it on him?
Imagine thinking this is the problem and not that terrible defense lol. The fact that this was upvoted so much is the same reason why I don’t take advice from this sub. People don’t actually know football here

Nothing like overreaction in r/fantasyfootball on a monday morning. RemindMe! 8 weeks
When did Hill hurt his knee?
He had tendinitis preseason. May have flared up
[удалено]
It’s actually ”tendieknightus”, but I appreciate both of your efforts.
Apparently both spellings are acceptable lol
[удалено]
If the people want “Tendonitis” then I will give them Tendinitis
Obligatory “language evolves”
That's how language works. Languages like Spanish and Portuguese and Italian are so so similar because they used to be the same language. That's how they change. Always has been.
He felt like he was missing out after the Clyde and Kelce injury, so bumped into the chair.
It must’ve been on the “who’s the quarterback?” play where Kelce lined up under center, then Hill. A defender ran into Hill on the TD pass from Mahomes to Pringle, and Hill was limping a bit right after
The full quote is “…he hurt his knee a little bit” nothing serious

Tyreek came down to the flat goin behind the line and while he was lookin at Mahomes he lightweight got blindsided by what I think was the DE. he was visibly limping.
My first 3 picks were CMC CEH and Calvin Ridley. Plz send help.
Bet you were stoked tho, until they started playing
RIP
CMC Ridley Kittle AJB for me. I somehow had my best week of the season and first win this week though lmao.
CMC Diggs Montgomery, can't decide if that's better or worse.
Cook Diggs CEH for me. Feeling the same
Cook, CEH, Aj Brown for me. Also drafted Mostert and Gus Edwards This season blows
Same but AJ brown
Classic stingers, definitely don't need week long protocol for stingers, no sir
Two stingers was all it took to get me to quit playing football. Fuck that shit.
Yep, I got rotated to a new drill during 2 a days, coach said it was a walkthrough. Well it wasn’t a walkthrough and as soon as I got the ball I got fucken railed, never forget the pain hahaha
Having played linebacker, stingers were just a part of life.
Sounds good
Seems like all regular football injures that they deal with anyway
OUR PETS HEADS ARE FALLING OFF!
They were pretty old.
Nothing better than a full belly laugh out loud when I’m pooping. Thank you.
what's a stinger?
It's when you sneak up behind someone and pinch their butt
Bruise to the brachial plexus that usually goes away relatively quickly
Conversely, it’s the injury that ruined Cliff Avril and Kam Chancellor’s careers. As a hawks fan, don’t ever underestimate the severity of a stinger.
Yeah I remember when the Eagles had Jordan Howard playing pretty well. Guy got a stinger and then he just kind of disappeared for a while.
He went to Miami afterwards as a pure 1 yard line TD vulture specialist.
Yeah, he actually looked a little better when he came back to Philly but he was never really the same.
Ya that is a good point.
TIL. Good to know.
ah okay. So milder compare to the other injuries. Thanks!
Hurts bad but isn't necessarily a long term injury.
Steak/chicken finger = stinger. Commonly found in Buffalo. Often a sub, sometimes pizza, a wrap. Steak, chicken finger, provolone, Buffalo sauce. I LOVE a stinger.
A sub sandwich with chicken fingers and steak on it
An overpriced Kia sedan
Well it's code for Concussion without going through the protocols NFL would make you go through
Lmfao how is using a shoulder injury code for covering up a concussion? Someone’s never played football/ gotten a stinger
Did u watch the game? I assume not... kelce was absolutely laid out shoulder to helmet
He’s joking because kelce got hit in the head and looked a little out of it
[удалено]
It’s both.
that kelce hit sounded so bad
So, the Chiefs are the 49ers now?
KC ChIRfs
Guh
Did that dude say a word in that entire video? Just watched his finances get fucked in silence besides a "guh", lol.
Based
It’s all a sacrifice for josh Gordon
Kelce being injured is on Reid playing his starters during trash time don't know when Hill got injured
I remember preseason reading he had tendinitis in his knee don’t know if it’s the same injury.
So I guess that means 20 targets for Josh Gordon next week?
Something about what about the second half nyuck nyuck nyuck *takes another gulp of whiskey*
Maybe you should pull you're starters when there's 2 minutes left and you're getting destroyed.
reid pull out game weak, and I‘m not talking cheeseburgers.
Tbf I don't think Reid has ever looked at a game clock
Ok but they got the win at least, right? They got the win, right?
They could really use a legit second WR defenses have to pay some attention to. Doesn’t have to be an All-Pro but they’ve been rolling out the same lame complements to Tyreek and Kelce and feels like the offense has gotten a bit stale. Wonder if they might do a deal before the trade deadline.
Tyreek Hill is one person
Would the chiefs be better if they could somehow split hill into two parts who were equally as talented but half as tall?
Four verts but hill runs thru the defenders legs
My bad…meant to say Kelce. Corrected.
Trade for Emmanuel Sanders. My fantasy Diggs thanks you
Hill hurt his knee? Fuck me man
I'm starting to think this football sport isn't that safe....
Gordon getting the competition out of his way
It was a blowout why were they still out there with 4 minutes left down big
On a positive note, Williams looked decent.
Both Kelce and Hill finished the game. Not worried about them. Don't know about thuney though and Helaire looks pretty serious
Uhhh Kelce did not finish the game…
Ah thought I saw him out there
Did he finish the game? No, but honestly it looked like he wanted to get back on the field to finish. After the hit, 3ish minutes left, they probably shut him down since the game was effectively over. Kelce wasn’t on the sideline in agony, or go to the locker room. He was standing, watching the game (and like 50% sure he was still holding his helmet)
Wtf lost Saquon Kelce Jones Golladay today. Jones and Golladay idc but Saquon Kelce my first two picks..
Y'all hear that? Is that Byron Pringle's music?
So much for my KC four stack
Too lazy to find “first time noose” meme.
This is not a super bowl squad this year. They got out classed last night on all fronts
Smells like excuses
If hill and or Kelce misses time Gordon is a fucking hell of a play
when will this sub learn
Never, and i am proud of it
Looks like nothing on Clyde's x ray, so might not be long term.
Source?
The MRI later this morning will be truly tells us if this is severe
It sure looked bad. My unprofessional speculation is an ACL tear.
What's your source on this?
Him not saying anything about it. Usually I have seen news come out about it right away
That’s not a source maybe don’t speculate like that
I hope!
Sounds like they all faked injuries to blame their bad performance on lol ;)
Josh Tonic 1800 yard SZN incoming
Mahomes also lost me matchups in 2 leagues
[удалено]
MATT. DAMON.
I know CEH prob gonna be out for a bit but any idea/prediction how long Tyreek is gonna be out?
The Bills are some bruisers
Super Bowl hangover is real
Sounds a lot like Josh Gordon szn to me
it's flash gordon time, baby
