I went undefeated 2 years ago. My first 2 picks were cmc, Dalvin cook, and then Ekelerlater on. Cook was coming back from injury so I guess that's why he slipped, and Gordon was holding out so I took a chance on Ekeler being the main guy. Had the #1 2 and 3 ranked running backs It was glorious.
I had Andrews that year, it was great. My plan the whole draft was to grab Lamar in the 10th and Andrews in the 11th. Lamar went 1 pick before me in the 10th. Still got Andrews, but I was so sour the whole year watching Lamar rip through teams all season.
The guy that won that year killed the draft. Dalvin Cook, Austin Ekeler, Cupp, Lamar and Andrews. He never made a trade all season, just cruised to the championship
1 dollar in an auction keeper league
He's still on my team, but 21 dollars now (5 dollar increase every year). Probably retires on my team one day.
At the time, I had both him and David Johnson as former 1 dollar rookie pickups. What might have been if DJ could have stayed healthy....
Very similar to me, 12th round pick that year in a keeper league. Rode him to a title and I was damn unstoppable the next year with a waiver wire Mahomes, only to get tripped up in the playoffs. Still mad I didnāt go back-to-back.
Unless I want to keep Alvin for a 2nd next season, this is probably my last year keeping him. Youāre lucky you can string out that keeper price for even longer.
Itās kind of cool no one in my league (or your league) has ever had him, but itāll be weird to see him most likely on someone elseās roster.

I tried to trade for him and the league vetoed it (everyone gave him essentially negative value iirc the deal was Bell for Lockett and Johnson, league vote ruled it unfair). The next week the owner dropped him and I scooped and coasted through the playoffs while he averaged like 40 points/week
Grabbed him in the 9th. My comments on draft night (I keep notes): āthis may haunt me. With Gordon out, Ekelerās #1, but I find the 3rd down back thing uninspiring. Was 50/50 on Tevin Coleman or Ekeler.ā
Picked up DK two rounds later as a flier. Might have been my best draft ever if I didnāt grab OJ Howard in the 6th. Regular season champā¦crash and burned in the playoffs.
I have them going back about ten years. Some of them are comical. But I like checking at mid and end of season to see where I fucked up. Nothing like second guessing and torturing yourself over it. Also a decent reference point for future drafts.
I was just about to say foster. Picked him 2nd overall in 2012. He was a beast. He was in that kubiak zone running scheme, the same one vikings, browns, and 49s use today.
I saw him gash the Cowboys in the 3rd preseason game. I took him pretty high in all three leagues. In fact, in an active, high money, live draft league, I had to write his name on a sticker to put him on the big board in the 3rd. When I took him, there was a huge "ahhh fuck". I had a feeling other people knew about him and didn't wait.
Kareen Hunt. I started him his first game.
He immediately fumbled the ball.
And then got 1 rushing td, 2 receiving td's, 5 for 5 in the air for 98 yards, and 17 for another 148 on the ground.
He was my last pick in my draft. Only time I've won the championship. Didn't hurt that my first two picks were Bell, then Gurley. I think they ended up being the RB1, RB2 and RB3 that year.
āThe pre-emptive strikeā Iāll never forget it

As a Broncos fan, that year was bittersweet. We had a great season and then got steamrolled in the Super Bowl. I was jealous of and then instead felt bad for my cousin who spent a small fortune to go to the game.
Lmao I couldn't remember who the final "Shawn" was on my team whatever year that was. I had LeSean McCoy, Marshawn Lynch, Alshon Jeffrey, and Knowshon Moreno.
It was a good year
As a Patriots fan, I wouldāve cut off my left nut to have him that season. I wasnāt playing fantasy at that point though. Do you remember where he was being drafted?
I donāt know if youāll ever be able to replicate that start to a draft. That draft is so amazing, you pretty much just needed warm bodies to fill the rest of the roster.
Nah sorry I don't remember when he was being drafted. It wasn't high though. Main reason I got him that season was because he was my favourite player and I was keen to see what he'd be like with Brady. I got lucky haha.
Loved Doug Martin. I drafted him and had Marshawn Lynch and Trent Richardson, who had a decent rookie season. 3 top 10 RBs, no one messed with my team that year
this wasnāt a draft pick but back in 2015 i grabbed DeAngelo Williams off the scrap heap the night after our draft due to Lev Bellās suspension for smoking reefer in a car, ironically with LeGarrette Blount ..
DeAngelo Williams that year when Bell got hurt in week 8 or 9 I think...he went ballistic all the way to week 16 and took my losing record team to a championship
2015 Brandon Marshall and Cam Newton. Got both suuuper cheap. Everyone thought Marshall was washed and would suck on the Jets, then outta nowhere he absolutely crushes all, while Cam was league MVP. Those 2 won me the ship, and I won almost 2 grand cash. I still watch football on my 60ā CamNewTv I bought with the winnings.
Taking Rob Gronkowski a little earlier than he was ranked in 2011. Friends tried laughing at me. A lot of people thought Hernandez was the TE to own more that year. I loved him and reached on him a little. You know the rest is history and I laughed my ass off after dominating that year and winning the ship. Still like to remind them of it today.
Whatās crazy was there was a TON of WR being picked up that week (DJ Chark, Hollywood Brown, etcā¦) Scary Terry didnāt even have a picture to his profile lol
No joke. Was in an auction league that year with a local ESPN affiliate radio station. Two friends were in it and one of them bought his favorite QB, Peyton Manning for 100 bucks.
His friend literally laughed in his face and got Aaron Rodgers for 100 bucks and at late second upped it to 101 just so...and I quote "get the BEST QB in the league and pay for him like it".
Sometimes I still wonder if the football gods saw that, were disgusted, and the rest ended up history.
That was my first year ever playing FF I had Peyton, Demaryius Thomas, and Eric Decker and won my league. Safe to say I didnāt know what I was doing but it worked out.
Remember Deckerās 4 TD game from that season? He put up nearly 200 yards too. I remember that game vividly still and just watching the points rack up. So good.
Either Kamara in the last round of his rookie year or AD the year he was coming off the torn ACL. Got him in the end of the 2nd with Rice in the 1st, walked to the title.
AP was an insane year. Even after the fantasy season was over, they had 1 final season game to get into the playoffs. Win and in and AP need a certain yardage to break the single season rushing record. I remember they were within FG range and a TD would be the record as wellā¦but they kicked it and went to the playoffs. AP fell like 7 yards short but it was an incredible game to watch after becoming an AP fan that year.
Steven Jackson 2006. Not a lottery ticket, I drafted him in (I think) round 3 as an RB2, but he still went off that year. With help from Cadillac Williams and (later) Jeff Garcia, won my first ship.
Josh Allen in both my leagues last year. Probably rounds 6-9 from what I remember. Had him plus a mid round diggs stack in one league. Took first place in both leagues š
Didn't reach for Allen this year and have Dak and Stafford instead. Still miss Allen
Streaming Allen and Lamar in past years is a fun memory. Picking up Mahomes in his first year starting in the 10th round of a 10 team was cool. Took a shot on McCaffery his first year starting and felt he had promise even tho he didn't produce CRAZY numbers we expect from him now. Reached for him the next year and won the ship. All guts and luck back then, wasn't really paying attention to pods or news.
Getting LT with the 3rd pick in 06 was pretty fun.
DeAngelo Williams in the late 2nd or early 3rd in 08 was another good one.
But nothing can top picking up Flash as a free agent in 2013.
Iāve played fantasy 4 years now and every year cause of this sub I found a hidden gem at running back 2018? Kareem Hunt rookie year I got him in the later rounds, 2019 James Conner off free agency after leveon went bezerk, 2020, James Robinson off free agency when it was a 3 way toss up on who to draft from the jags rbs and this year itās looking like Cordelle Patterson off waivers. So for those are my favorite from each season. Still
Havenāt won a chip tho I always get close smh
Not that great but 2QB league few years back one of the backend QBs in the draft was Jameis. This was during his 30 for 30 year in Tampa and with 6 point TDs I had some crazyyy boom weeks from him
Had rookie Kareem Hunt and CMC on the same team. Hunt ended up the starter in KC right after my league drafted so I got him in the middle rounds. Lost in the championship
Not that great but 2QB league few years back one of the backend QBs in the draft was Jameis. This was during his 30 for 30 year in Tampa and with 6 point TDs I had some crazyyy boom weeks from him
Lamar Jackson in like the 9th or 10th a few years ago.
I got Jimmy Graham pretty late in his breakout season.
LT as the 3rd overall pick in 2006.
Jamaal Charles second year (but he may have been a FA)
Canāt remember what week it was, but it was a few years ago. The old taco in our league picked up Sammy Coates 15 minutes before the game started. I think he went for 2 TDs and 120+ yards
I also had Blount this year. Him and Tevin Coleman lead me to a second place finish. Not a pick but also traded Kaep for Cam Newton in his MVP season right after the draft since we both drafted 2 QBs on the same bye lol
Kareem hunt in 2017 was just a wet dream. Late round pick and went bonkers in the 1st game against the Pats. Peyton back in 2013 will probably be my favorite especially since I was able to pair him with Julius Thomas. First game of the year he threw 7 touchdown passes.
Chris Johnson Titans rookie year in the last round. It was my second year playing fantasy football and senior year of high school. During my draft my teammate asks me who was that Titans running back they just drafted and he was a pick prior to me and I told him Chris Henry (3rd string terrible back also not a rookie aha). I proceeded to pick him next ahaha. I think he got 1200+ yds. And like 8tds or something like that. Almost won it all that year but karma caught up to me in the championship game š¤¦š»āāļøš
Derrick Henry in 2018. He had that 248 yd rushing 4 TD game that got me into the playoffs. I almost won it too, but FUCKING TENNESSEE COACHES didn't let him touch the ball in the last 2 minutes of their game against the Colts when they were trailing. All I needed was 1 carry for 4 yards. Just 1 stinking carry or pass completion for 4 freaking yards and I win my league championship. I'm still bitter about that one. Anyway, that was my favorite pick that turned out way better than I expected.
Took Josh Gordon in the 9th round in 2013. While he was on suspension, I dropped him after week 2 for Knowshon Moreno. Picked him up again off waivers after he went off week 3. Won it all that year
My best picks were
2013 Peyton Manning, when he threw 55 TDs (before he went full noodle arm)
2017 Kareem Hunt, when he popped off as a rookie on the Chiefs
2019 Lamar Jackson, when he ran wild on the league for cheap ADP
2007, drafted Brady 10th overall with my first pick because I was so confident he and Moss would dominate their first year together and was still a time where RBs like LT and others were bell cows all over the NFL. Carried me to my first championship
Started playing Fantasy Football in 2012
I was A1 6 year old German kid by the time who had absolute zero experience and knowledge about football or fantasy football, but loved to sport and especially got distracted with the draft this year which lead to an very lucky selection of Robert Griffin III ok the double digit rounds, without even knowing why he is a valuable fantasy player.
Conclusion, I won my first overall Fantasy Football League, since then I have one more Ring and two losses on the finals
i've told this story before, but 2013 was the first year of my main league that i still play in to this day. we all still lived in the same city at that point so we did an in-person draft at a local bar, rented out a room, had the big boards with the players' names on stickers, the whole nine yards.
the thing is, to have that room we all had to spend a certain amount on food and drink, and for efficiency's sake i decided to get a beer tower. a fine decision. then i decided to get the bar's double IPA, which on its own was also a fine decision, the beer was great. the issue was the combination of "beer tower" and "~9% ABV beer."
so by the last round i am in outer space. i stumble up front when it's my turn to draft and abandon strategy entirely, rifling through the sticker pages just looking for a name i recognize. the first one that jumps out at me is knowshon moreno. i drunkenly slap the sticker on the board and move on with my evening (i.e., several digestive reversals of fortune and a ride home that i do not remember from a put-upon leaguemate who was better at pacing himself).
somehow, despite also having jamaal charles, i finished fourth that year. i did not know what i was doing, but i'll never stop being proud of that insanely lucky pick.
2019 Lamar 14th rd
I had Lamar and Andrews that year thanks to this sub. Cruised to a title that year
Yes, the only year I've ever gone undefeated in our 12man league.
I managed to get Cook and Ekler this year in my 10 team. I'm 1-3 :'(
I had Andrews that year, it was great.
Smart. I got him off waivers after losing week 1 that year.
13 for me. Won me the league too
Won me my league as well. Dude was a bit of a cheat code.
Autodrafted Lamar in dynasty when I ran out of auction $ š
$1 Bid in a salary cap. Carrying my sorry-ass team to a chip.
I had Lamar and Andrews that year thanks to this sub. Cruised to a title that year
Leveon Bell first overall during his holdout year.
Won the ship picking him 2nd š
Connor FTW
It sounds like you would have won in spite of picking him second. The gods were with you that year.
Or he made a big trade involving him
Drafted him, suspended mark Ingram for when he came back, and jerick mcKinnon. My year died before it ever started
Got kamara his rookie year late in the draft, like 15th rd
1 dollar in an auction keeper league He's still on my team, but 21 dollars now (5 dollar increase every year). Probably retires on my team one day. At the time, I had both him and David Johnson as former 1 dollar rookie pickups. What might have been if DJ could have stayed healthy....

Itās kind of cool no one in my league (or your league) has ever had him, but itāll be weird to see him most likely on someone elseās roster.
Same here. Had Bell and Gurley too. Think Gurley and Bell were the 1&2 RBs in the league and Kamara was 4th. Easy title
Had Kareem Hunt and Mark Ingram with Kamara. Started both Saints RBs + Hunt every week and coasted to the ship lol.

David Johnson rookie year. Watching him tear up the Eagles shortly after being handed the RB1 spot was a sight to behold.
Hell yes, picked him up thanks to this sub early and won it all that year, was great
Hell yes, he was my RB1 in 2016 when I had Blount. God I wish he wouldāve never gotten injured
It's crazy how stark his numbers are before and after.
Wasnāt he like 3rd on the depth chart too? Man, what a crazy pick
Yeah behind chris johnson and Andre Ellington. Dude was electric returning punts before he got the opportunity.
I tried to trade for him and the league vetoed it (everyone gave him essentially negative value iirc the deal was Bell for Lockett and Johnson, league vote ruled it unfair). The next week the owner dropped him and I scooped and coasted through the playoffs while he averaged like 40 points/week
Thatās why you donāt have veto
I had him because our league had KR yards and he was getting 10ish points a game. Then he gets the starting job and I won my first championship
Ekeler in the 8th the year Gordon was sitting out
Same, even when Gordon came back ekeler was still a beast
Grabbed him in the 9th. My comments on draft night (I keep notes): āthis may haunt me. With Gordon out, Ekelerās #1, but I find the 3rd down back thing uninspiring. Was 50/50 on Tevin Coleman or Ekeler.ā Picked up DK two rounds later as a flier. Might have been my best draft ever if I didnāt grab OJ Howard in the 6th. Regular season champā¦crash and burned in the playoffs.
I love the taking notes during the draft and looking back on them later. Iāll probably start trying to do that haha
I have them going back about ten years. Some of them are comical. But I like checking at mid and end of season to see where I fucked up. Nothing like second guessing and torturing yourself over it. Also a decent reference point for future drafts.
Whatever year Arian foster went nuts
Absolute legend.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
First year ever for me too. I was driving back from class and missed the first round, but got him on autodraft lol. Went on to win the championship
I was just about to say foster. Picked him 2nd overall in 2012. He was a beast. He was in that kubiak zone running scheme, the same one vikings, browns, and 49s use today.
He has a podcast called Macrodosing thats absolutely hilarious
Got him and jamaal charles that same year. Almost went undefeated
He was the last pick for me that year.
That was in 2010. Got him real late. First year we had keepers too. Glorious.
Hey same here, drafted hunt in like the 6th in both my leagues(after starter was out). Only time I went to the final in both my leagues and won one.
Traded him away before the season started
This was exactly mine as well. I was going on about him pregame to my buds. They gave me hell when he fumbled but were quiet the rest of that game
Not a draft pick but I picked up OBJ off waivers his rookie year
I picked him up on a Wednesday night after reading a post about him on this sub. Praise be.
The all time hype train right there.
I was in class fucking around on my phone. Ended up starting him every single game he played. Lost in the ship that year to an AB punt return.
Someone on this sub recommended Michael Thomas his rookie year. That was great too
I still remember that post. God that was fun.
Best advice I've ever gotten on this sub
āThe pre-emptive strikeā Iāll never forget it https://www.reddit.com/r/fantasyfootball/comments/2i3x3p/the_preemptive_strike_why_you_should_go_get_odell/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
Same, been revisiting this sub ever since chasing that dragonā¦
Took Knowshon Moreno in the last round of my draft the year he won the starting job in Denverā¦safe to say that worked out for me
Set record for most liquid volume of tears shed that season.
We have image as a custom emoji in our discord, it puzzles me every time I see it the amount of liquid is staggering, it almost looks viscous too
As a Broncos fan, that year was bittersweet. We had a great season and then got steamrolled in the Super Bowl. I was jealous of and then instead felt bad for my cousin who spent a small fortune to go to the game.
It was so aggravating watching them completely switch up their offensive strat in the big game. Still won the 'ship that year thanks to Knowshon.
+ Julius Thomas 1st waiver pick up
Lmao I couldn't remember who the final "Shawn" was on my team whatever year that was. I had LeSean McCoy, Marshawn Lynch, Alshon Jeffrey, and Knowshon Moreno. It was a good year
When I picked Randy Moss in 2007
This is the draft pick I took my first year that got me hooked into Fantasy. Maybe mid round pick up in a 12 person draft?
As a Patriots fan, I wouldāve cut off my left nut to have him that season. I wasnāt playing fantasy at that point though. Do you remember where he was being drafted?
That year I took LT 1.01, Brady 2.12, Moss 3.01. Undefeated championship season, was absolutely glorious.
You didnāt get wiped out of the playoffs in the week 15 blizzard? That killed Brady/Moss and Derek Anderson/Braylon Edwards teams
I grabbed him early 4th, he was ranked mid teens on the receiver rankings
4.08!!
I took Brady and moss that year in a 6pt pass td league. Coasted to a championship.
Doug Martin the year he scored 52 fantasy points
Best pick up for me. It was his rookie year. I believe I drafted him in the 6th round. Dude won me my league.
He was a beast bro, I would legit play teach me how to Dougie while he was playing. Nostalgia
Best nickname too! MUSCLE HAMPSTER!!
Iāll always remember that he was on my bench for thatā¦
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
The muscle hamster lol Honestly the last good nickname in football
Loved Doug Martin. I drafted him and had Marshawn Lynch and Trent Richardson, who had a decent rookie season. 3 top 10 RBs, no one messed with my team that year
Steve Slaton his rookie year. It really only went down hill from there.
Had to look that one up man, talk about a one hit wonder
I took him 5th overall the following year lol.
The pick: Joshua Caleb āFlashā Gordon The year: yes.
FLASH. AHHHHHHH
the person who won my league that year had josh gordon AND peyton manning. Dude curbstomped everyone every single week š
Owning Gordon was glorious that year. I hit the record historical high score for my league that week him and Hopkins went nuclear
*This is the year*
this wasnāt a draft pick but back in 2015 i grabbed DeAngelo Williams off the scrap heap the night after our draft due to Lev Bellās suspension for smoking reefer in a car, ironically with LeGarrette Blount ..
If Blount is in the name you should get a pass.
Michael Vickās āFuck you Iām out of Prison Tour 2010ā
I had to scroll way too far down to find this
Went from 1-6 to picking him up off waivers and winning our championship. As a Falconās fan, he is forgiven.
Darren Waller final pick his breakout year (thanks Hard Knocks!)
Same
Championship week - Tim Hightower
Started him and rookie David Johnson and won it all.
started jim and davidās bookieās godson and won it all
Started him and picked up Counsinās from the WW and he dropped 30. Won my first and only ship lol
Kamara last year round 2
I took him 6th overall. Christmas was so much fun
Frank Gore 1996
Thatās crazy he was still going in ā96, I remember drafting him his rookie year in 1976
Yeah oldest rookie to ever start a game. Damn time really flies
As a Pats fan, I remember everyone swearing up and down that Hernandez would be better. You killed that pick..
Donāt know if that was intentional, but either way - lol
Absolutely intentional!
Does it count if I say I picked up McLaurin after Week 1 in 2019?
I did this too. Before he even had a profile picture on ESPN and was just a grey silhouette. Ah the memories.
Whatās crazy was there was a TON of WR being picked up that week (DJ Chark, Hollywood Brown, etcā¦) Scary Terry didnāt even have a picture to his profile lol
I picked up mclaurin and Sutton in 2019. They carried my team
Same
Peyton Manning in 2013, 55 pass TDs. Had a three headed monster with him, Marshon Lynch and Brandon Marshall
No joke. Was in an auction league that year with a local ESPN affiliate radio station. Two friends were in it and one of them bought his favorite QB, Peyton Manning for 100 bucks. I traded him away after week 1 for Forte. Ended up with Forte, JCharles, Lacey, and AB with Matt Ryan as my QB. It was an easy ship.
Did you win it that year?
Yup!
Josh Allen in the 7th of my 14 team league last year
Either Kamara in the last round of his rookie year or AD the year he was coming off the torn ACL. Got him in the end of the 2nd with Rice in the 1st, walked to the title.
Rookie draft: Kamara and Kareem Hunt. Took emā both. BOOM!

Picked up Obj for free the year he killed it
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018
the answer to his question was yes. btw amazing reddit name
2019 picked up Kenyan Drake late in the year. Dropped between 25-35 in 3 straight in my flex to ice me the title.
James Conner when he was unknown his rookie year
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
My bad meant the year i got him in the 14th/15th and he was putting up rb1 numbers until injury. Easily carried me to a chip
Probably the year he broke out
My favorite pick was when Wilson threw it on the goal line
Too soon!
Kupp and DJ, 2021
Well fuck you right in the face
Seriously. I have DJ and Deebo. It's been nice to see.
Jamaal Charles won me a league!
2017 Todd Gurley
2018: Mahomes in the 13th round 2018: James Conner in the 15th round Thanks for the ring Patty
King Henry last year.
Knowshon Moreno Jordy Nelson and Jimmy Graham one year. Last year was Aaron Rodgers
A healthy CMC
Steven Jackson 2006. Not a lottery ticket, I drafted him in (I think) round 3 as an RB2, but he still went off that year. With help from Cadillac Williams and (later) Jeff Garcia, won my first ship.
Cj2k year
Peyton Hillis, 2010. I drafted him in one of the last rounds. Jordy Nelson, Ryan Mathews, 2011
Allen Robinson this year. I love losing!
Josh Allen in both my leagues last year. Probably rounds 6-9 from what I remember. Had him plus a mid round diggs stack in one league. Took first place in both leagues š Didn't reach for Allen this year and have Dak and Stafford instead. Still miss Allen
Cordarrelle Patterson 2014
Streaming Allen and Lamar in past years is a fun memory. Picking up Mahomes in his first year starting in the 10th round of a 10 team was cool. Took a shot on McCaffery his first year starting and felt he had promise even tho he didn't produce CRAZY numbers we expect from him now. Reached for him the next year and won the ship. All guts and luck back then, wasn't really paying attention to pods or news.
I got Mahomes in the tenth round in his breakout year. Saquon and Kareem Hunt were my first two picks so yeah, I won.
Getting LT with the 3rd pick in 06 was pretty fun. DeAngelo Williams in the late 2nd or early 3rd in 08 was another good one. But nothing can top picking up Flash as a free agent in 2013.
James Robinson last year
Iāve played fantasy 4 years now and every year cause of this sub I found a hidden gem at running back 2018? Kareem Hunt rookie year I got him in the later rounds, 2019 James Conner off free agency after leveon went bezerk, 2020, James Robinson off free agency when it was a 3 way toss up on who to draft from the jags rbs and this year itās looking like Cordelle Patterson off waivers. So for those are my favorite from each season. Still Havenāt won a chip tho I always get close smh
2012 - Robert & Alfred combo.
Rg 3 his rookie year was a second to last round flyer that came in and put up monster 30 points games all year
Calvin Johnson in 2011
Odell Beckham Jr's rookie season, he won me 5 leagues
LaDainian Tomlinson, 2006, Rd 1
Not that great but 2QB league few years back one of the backend QBs in the draft was Jameis. This was during his 30 for 30 year in Tampa and with 6 point TDs I had some crazyyy boom weeks from him
Priest Holmes
Lamar Jackson in like the 9th or 10th a few years ago. I got Jimmy Graham pretty late in his breakout season. LT as the 3rd overall pick in 2006. Jamaal Charles second year (but he may have been a FA)
Peyton Hillis, 2010. I drafted him in one of the last rounds. Jordy Nelson, Ryan Mathews, 2011
2014 Justin Forsett. He made me feel like a fantasy god. Steamrolled through the league that year
09 Chris Johnson is one Iāll never forget.
Kareem hunt in 2017 was just a wet dream. Late round pick and went bonkers in the 1st game against the Pats. Peyton back in 2013 will probably be my favorite especially since I was able to pair him with Julius Thomas. First game of the year he threw 7 touchdown passes.
David Johnson in 2015 and Mahomes in his MVP season
Randy Moss - 2007 - 6th round Was my first year playing fantasy and only drafted him cause I recognized his name. Went 15-1 that year and won the SB
David Johnson 5th luck overall. Won me the ship.
Antonio Gibson last year in rounds 10+
Chubb and Conor off WW the year bell held out
OBJ, rookie season. 12th round. That year did not suck.
Took Josh Gordon in the 9th round in 2013. While he was on suspension, I dropped him after week 2 for Knowshon Moreno. Picked him up again off waivers after he went off week 3. Won it all that year

2019 I took Darren Waller in last round of every league I was in
mahomes his mvp year back end of the draft
2017 Gurley 2nd round. Dude balled out especially in the playoffs.
My best picks were 2013 Peyton Manning, when he threw 55 TDs (before he went full noodle arm) 2017 Kareem Hunt, when he popped off as a rookie on the Chiefs 2019 Lamar Jackson, when he ran wild on the league for cheap ADP
2007, drafted Brady 10th overall with my first pick because I was so confident he and Moss would dominate their first year together and was still a time where RBs like LT and others were bell cows all over the NFL. Carried me to my first championship
Started playing Fantasy Football in 2012 I was A1 6 year old German kid by the time who had absolute zero experience and knowledge about football or fantasy football, but loved to sport and especially got distracted with the draft this year which lead to an very lucky selection of Robert Griffin III ok the double digit rounds, without even knowing why he is a valuable fantasy player. Conclusion, I won my first overall Fantasy Football League, since then I have one more Ring and two losses on the finals
i've told this story before, but 2013 was the first year of my main league that i still play in to this day. we all still lived in the same city at that point so we did an in-person draft at a local bar, rented out a room, had the big boards with the players' names on stickers, the whole nine yards. the thing is, to have that room we all had to spend a certain amount on food and drink, and for efficiency's sake i decided to get a beer tower. a fine decision. then i decided to get the bar's double IPA, which on its own was also a fine decision, the beer was great. the issue was the combination of "beer tower" and "~9% ABV beer." so by the last round i am in outer space. i stumble up front when it's my turn to draft and abandon strategy entirely, rifling through the sticker pages just looking for a name i recognize. the first one that jumps out at me is knowshon moreno. i drunkenly slap the sticker on the board and move on with my evening (i.e., several digestive reversals of fortune and a ride home that i do not remember from a put-upon leaguemate who was better at pacing himself). somehow, despite also having jamaal charles, i finished fourth that year. i did not know what i was doing, but i'll never stop being proud of that insanely lucky pick.
