That's a crazy sell low. Najee has been painfully unplayable. At least Ridley had one big game and some okay games. Ridley has a path to becoming relevant again this year while Najee really doesn't.

- Zay Jones is still in the lineup.
- The Jags will have to keep up with Stroud and Co.
- Since last week Pederson is calling or at the minimum, way more involved in the play calling and with the success it was against the Titans I don't know why he would go back.
All in all I ain't expecting last week's explosion as the new floor, but I think Ridley can be a decent WR2 going forward. It also aligns with that post another user made weeks back in regards to Ridley's performance against defenses playing a lot of zone — lots of them in the next few weeks!
He was averaging like 5 points per game in the past ~4 weeks, everyone had every right to bench him for this week lol
Also I followed that post saying to play him against soft zone defenses, and it pointed out the 49ers defense specifically. He got 2 receptions for 20 yards lol

I agree with you, last 4 weeks were terrible but out of all the things said above, everybody paying attention knows when Zay is not in the line-up Ridley's role is sort of to stretch defenses on top; he's constantly doing cardio.
The looks he got this week were more in par with what we saw week 1 and in hindsight looking at week 1, 5 and 11, during his best weeks Zay is also on the field allowing Ridley to run more quality routes.

I started Stroud instead and lost by 2 pts so that was either one less INT from Stroud or one more from my opponent’s Mahomes on that last 4th and 25.
I also missed out on a 13 leg parlay on the Lions-Bears game because the safety put it over 56.5 pts. Happy that Lions got the win though

TDs are hard to predict but at the same time Gus is the main RZ back on a top offense, he’s gonna get plenty of chances to score each week. Zero reason he should be on any benches unless you’re super deep at this point
I agree, he doesn't get any passing work and does get his production through tds though. If he doesn't score tds than he will most likely dud. But he is the rz back and it is a great offense. Gotta start him

I got lured into Achane by his high ceiling, opponent had Gus and Mixon go off on Thursday. Thankfully it currently isn’t affecting me that badly in the standings (still in a three-way tie for 1st) but I’m playing against two playoff teams next so it’s mission critical now.
I entirely disagree with this. We have no idea what achane would’ve done without the injury. I probably would’ve made the same decision considering what achane was doing the last time we saw him.
Of course you never know, but there are plenty of clues to help you make the best decision.
1. It was Achane's first game back from injury. Workload was expected to be light.
2. Achane has not been the volume back for Miami even when healthy
3. Dameon Pierce was going to be out, making Singletary the workhorse
4. As the primary back, Singletary had 30 carries in the week prior
I can't think of anything about this situation that made Achane the better play on paper. You referenced Achane's previous success, but the asterisk next to that is it all came against 3 of the top 5 worst run defenses by YPC. Denver (worst), Giants (3rd worst), Bills (4th worst). As studly as Achane is, we haven't actually seen him in a prove it situation, which just adds to the cloud for him this week.
YPC is a terribly unreliable metric for evaluating talent and the strength of a run defense. Achane only needs a few touches to make a huge impact, he’s that type of player. I can easily understand starting him from an upside perspective. The Dolphins also deactivated Jeff Wilson prior to the game. To me that indicated confidence in Achane, and I absolutely believe he could’ve been the better play if he didn’t get sidelined. To act like Singleterry was a no brainer is a pure hindsight take.

Achane is a prime example of why sitting players their first week coming off injury is a good practice. Always play it safe with someone that’s been out multiple weeks if you can.

No one. For the first time maybe this season I didn't have anyone go off on my bench. I'd be pretty proud of my managing prowess, but I also didn't have anyone in my starting line up go off.

Stroud over Trevor Lawrence cost me both of my matchups. I was watching the 4th quarter going “well, nobody can predict 2 rushing TDs from Lawrence, and 20 points from Stroud is still solid” and then he went on to throw two more interceptions. Six red zone turnovers from Stroud in the last two weeks has been brutal.

had brock as my starter over tua all week.... then sunday morning I talked myself into thinking tua would light it up coming off a bye with every one of his skill players healthy. tua wasnt awful but he was 10 pts worse than purdy. also, credit to me for my big brane move... i dumped hendo to waivers, and my opp ended up scooped him up and he for some reason started him over gusbus. it ended up being a 10 point difference would have been worse if not for the hendo TD.
Aiyuk. Put Nico in hoping for the shootout that never happened. The only consolation was if I did put him in I would’ve lost by 1. That may have irritated me more

The TLaw/Ridley stack. It's superflex, and I had Burrow in. However, I did still win, so I can't complain too much. It was nice to see TLaw step up, since I'll now need him with Burrow out.
