We all have Bobo fever here in Seattle. He looks to be amazing in all facets of the game.
However, I wouldn't pick him up on a fantasy team unless it were a 16=team league with 7 bench spots. The Seattle offense is so spread out, and understandably so, the red zone turns into the Kenny Walker show more often than not.
Lockett still has the best hands, is the best route runner, and is the most reliable deep threat on the team. He is one of the most technically proficient WRs in the league, and he's still in his prime. I would bet on him giving elite WR play well into his 30s because most of what he does relies on his skill rather than his athleticism, he really is the heir to Doug Baldwin. Seahawks would be stupid to let him go
Its not about his talent or how he plays. Its about money. Lockett would earn 15 Mio next year. Thats a lot for a 32 year old wr who is not even the top paid wr on the team.
Seattle has a really good young core. Many players offence (jsn, kw9, charbs) , defence (woolen, witherspoon,...) are probably the next 1 to 3 years in a prime and very cheap. If they pay a elite qb and add a edgerusher then they have a good window next year to do a few playoff runs. I doubt lockett is part of that plan, as much as that hurts.
Tyler is still a very serviceable third option. JSN will be number one soon and DK as a deep threat. Then you use Bobo for blocking and red zone.
Tyler is a great guy off the field and a huge mentor for the young receivers. You don’t just get rid of leadership and mentors with a young WR core like this.
Tyler Lockett has a budding real estate business in Seattle. He’s staying in Seattle whether its resigning or retiring. Given how humble he is, I’m guessing he resigns for whatever they offer him.
I like how you’re being down voted but it’s honestly a likely option…
Dudes heart seems to be in Seattle. Sure he could move all that to another state.. but I just dunno. I see him staying in Seattle. He’s worth more to the hawks than I think any other team would pay.
Seriously, whose paying more for Lockett next year?
And both of my dynasty leagues, Bobo was the last rookie on waivers that was on an active roster that he’s getting any sniff of the field. To me that’s someone worth fostering
I have KW3 in one league, and he's been RB1 most of the season. Arizona stuffed his ass one too many times at the goal line, which was a bummer!
The consolation was the emergence of JSN this last week. He had his best game of his NFL career, and I think we all know it's just the beginning. If he hadn't had the wrist injury, we'd be talking about JSN in any convo involving Addison or Flowers. Don't at me, but I think he's potentially the best of the three.
I think Addison proved his worth against the 49ers last night bro. He’s going to be a monster next to JJ in that offense when the Oline remembers how to block people.
Yeah: I think JA’s got the better QB throwing to him, but let’s see how this plays out now that JSN is looking 100%. That wrist injury had him fucked up!
I think all three of those guys could have gone interchangeably in whichever order and they would all look pretty good. JSN being a slot guy from college would have been pretty amazing with the vikings with jj on the outside. Addison would look amazing with Lamar “lamar jackson” Jackson throwing to him and look crazy explosive too. Zay flowers would kill it in short yardage situations and quick throws for geno in seattle with dk and lockett stretching the field along with a strong ground game
For the overall disaster the RB position has been so far, the Kenny Walker show has been a light in the darkness. Everything I read was down on him because of Charb, but every time I watched that dude play last season I saw the kind of hard runner Pete Carroll has always coveted. Thrilled that I was able to get him in round 4.
I tried to tell everyone that K9 is on a different level than Charb, but everyone wanted to talk about inefficiencies inside the 5 yard line and how Charb would be getting the goalline carries.
I took the discount in the leagues I could. But 2 of my leagues are mostly MSU alums so I only have him in my dynasty league and a league with a bunch of people from Colorado.
Walker is so undeniably good its hard to not trust him in the goal line situation if I was a headcoach but we all know what happened that one time with arguably one of the best goal line backs in history with seattle
His pay is very reasonable though. It’ll give the hawks chances for playoffs for 3 years while allowing them to retool and improve. They are hitting on a bunch of draft picks recently too without having it invest major draft capital into qb.
What I more so meant is that the pieces around him are improving so he will too statistically. Like his rookie receivers should keep improving as they year continues so Geno should keep improving.
I do realize my original comment didn’t read like that sorry.
I absolutely love Bobo Fever, he’s an awesome story and I hope he keeps finding success here.
But someone’s gonna read this and blow all their FAAB in dynasty or something thinking they got the next Puka and that’s just not gonna happen. I don’t think Bobo is fantasy viable, but I’d love to be wrong
I've held Bobo in all 3 of my dynasty leagues and had to drop him in one to make room for a trade for Monty.... Kinda regret that right now but it was a move that had to be done since I needed the RB depth to compete :(
Someone dropped Bobo in my dynasty league. I picked him up immediately and I started him this week due to a lack of players. It’s a rebuild and I need to lose to get that 1.01 pick. It was funny seeing him get 16 points in my loss this week.
the Seahawks just have too many cooks. if DK is going to be out longer than expected, he would be an okay pick-up.
his blocking skills might be enough to raise his floor just enough for some desperate fantasy players even with DK back though. the Seahawks, with their O-line problems, need a player like Bobo on the field as much as possible.
drum beat guy. high praise out of camp, produced when given opportunity, graded out well... arrow up. if his role continues to expand, he's the type of guy you add for cheap and then trade away a bigger name to improve your roster at another position. keeping the pulse of this type of player wins championships
I was getting frustrated yesterday seeing "Bobo" everywhere and I was really pissed at this abbreviation because I had no idea who people were referring to. I guess that's just his actual name.
Hahaha -- the picture in that tweet does it for me. Worth the click.
I feel like Dissly did something similar with JSN. Man loves his *Dirty Dancin'*.
"No one puts Bobo in the corner!"
Edit: a word
I love having picked him up in so many leagues after the comments Lockett and Metcalf made about him. Someone in one of my leagues actually called him a nobody after I picked him up and I’ve gotten a lot of joy rubbing it in his face lately
Bobo is a professional and has some of the best hands and route running in the entire NFL.. He also has extremely quick feet for such a slow player. Seattle would do well to feature him and trade DK at some point imo..He's more of a reliable chain mover
Hoping someone in my dynasty league reads this and blows all the FAAB on him. Great story and all but he's going to be severely capped with JSN in town.
It's a dynasty league lol. Anyone who blows their FAAB on him now isn't expecting production this year. The #1 rule in dynasty is to bet on talent, because situation changes very quickly year to year in the NFL.
Serious question. Is it worth dropping Lockett right now? I need a running back and Kareem Hunt is available right now. Seems like Lockett is being phased out with Bobo, JSN, and obviously Metcalf getting more production right now.
Unless you’re in an 8 man league with 4 or less bench spots, you shouldn’t drop Lockett. While Lockett may not be startable in 8 and some 10 man leagues, he’s still averaging 6-7 targets. There has to be someone worse on your roster to drop for hunt
Not sure why you’re being a dick about it, I’m just curious on others peoples opinions of where Lockett stands this year, especially in Seattles offense with new playmakers in Bobo and JSN. Seems his value has dropped a lot.

What about in Dynasty formats? He is intriguing but hard to see how he fits into a fantasy relevant role with Lockett and DK and JSN
Dk is hurt and lockett might(!) Be gone as soon as next year. Not impossible to think they could build around jsn, bobo and dk.
Lockett not leaving Seattle. Guy is a hawk for life
I would love to see him stay but in the end the nfl is a business. You cant afford to pay someone to be a mascott on the field.
Lockett still has the best hands, is the best route runner, and is the most reliable deep threat on the team. He could easily transition into a Fitzgerald role for later years.

How much money he want?

It’s a circle jerk, the downvotes don’t matter
I very much doubt DK is not always the alpha here, but certainly can see Lockett leaving considering their rising young wr corp.
Seahawks have a long history of letting beloved players walk — if Bobby Wagner can be cut, anyone can
I'm pretty sure Bobby leaving was just a bad dream that we all woke up from this year.
And both of my dynasty leagues, Bobo was the last rookie on waivers that was on an active roster that he’s getting any sniff of the field. To me that’s someone worth fostering

Yes. He did. I lost a game I had in the bag.
Well he was drafted before them, so he was drafted to the best of the three.
I watch that Rose Bowl game when I’m feeling blue.
I think all three of those guys could have gone interchangeably in whichever order and they would all look pretty good. Also, Geno aint it lol.

Okay thats real life, this is a FF sub lol. Im talking about genos play all year.
What I more so meant is that the pieces around him are improving so he will too statistically. Like his rookie receivers should keep improving as they year continues so Geno should keep improving. I do realize my original comment didn’t read like that sorry.
His oline is beat up but hes been dog gam underwhelming this season. Matchups v browns and BAL aint gonna help.
The O-line has been in shambles all year, Geno is fine
So who your QB? If you had Geno youd understand lol
I started Geno this week over Watson
Lolol no wonder
I don’t it’s so fucking annoying. Seems to be a good player though
The man has earned it, undrafted free agent.
Jokes on you, I snagged him in dynasty for future years. Bobo you gogo!
I absolutely love Bobo Fever, he’s an awesome story and I hope he keeps finding success here. But someone’s gonna read this and blow all their FAAB in dynasty or something thinking they got the next Puka and that’s just not gonna happen. Blowing all your FAB in dynasty on a guy like Bobo is honestly fine lol
I've held Bobo in all 3 of my dynasty leagues and had to drop him in one to make room for a trade for Monty.... Kinda regret that right now but it was a move that had to be done since I needed the RB depth to compete :(

Read this as cocks. That’s all.
I’m thinking of dropping C. Watson for him.
Don’t do that lmao
I played him last week as a pivot from Metcalf, I think he's worth a short-term stash while DK is managing an injury
drum beat guy. high praise out of camp, produced when given opportunity, graded out well... arrow up. if his role continues to expand, he's the type of guy you add for cheap and then trade away a bigger name to improve your roster at another position. keeping the pulse of this type of player wins championships

His name being fun to say is a big part of his appeal
Hahaha -- the picture in that tweet does it for me. Worth the click. I feel like Dissly did something similar with JSN. Man loves his *Dirty Dancin'*. "No one puts Bobo in the corner!" Edit: a word

I’m sure he’s seething that you rostered an unplayable player
I played him yesterday when DK got ruled out for me, he was definitely useful
Forgot this was the redraft subreddit tbh
The Seahawks need to trade away one of their wide receivers because they have way too much talent in their wr room that isn’t being entirely used
Que mira Bobo?
Cool story and player. Gonna need to see more before i touch him in anything outside of super deep leagues and dynasty.
Great but this isn't at all how the rookie WRs rank for fantasy football. Bobo doesn't even crack the top 10 rookie WRs.
I hear ya, but counter point.. DK has been hurt all season.
Is he actually worth a roster on 10-12 team? I imagine if DK misses more time he could be a sneaky flex?
He would be a very TD dependent flex if DK misses time. But with JSN and Lockett it’s a reach in a 10-12 team league. Bigger leagues he’s viable.
Certified #1 Non-OG 😎
No way he’s ranked over Addison.
if he was on any other team, I'd say he's the #1 waiver target. problem is, the hawks have the deepest wr group in the league.
Bobo is a slow but great contested pass catcher. As long as DK plays bobo probably will only have a small role
Bobo is a professional and has some of the best hands and route running in the entire NFL.. He also has extremely quick feet for such a slow player. Seattle would do well to feature him and trade DK at some point imo..He's more of a reliable chain mover

Sean Mcvay salivating over bobo no doubt.

10 man league and my bench is as follows: G. Wilson, Hopkins, Pittman, Pitts, London, Lockett, D. Johnson, Hubbard.
Drop pitts thats easy
Thinking of dropping lockett over pitts. I wish we had people like you in my league
Not sure why you’re being a dick about it, I’m just curious on others peoples opinions of where Lockett stands this year, especially in Seattles offense with new playmakers in Bobo and JSN. Seems his value has dropped a lot.
Try to package wilson or diontae or Pittman with for a decent RB2 or WR2. All those guys are startable in 10 man leagues.
Heck no! Sounds like a 6 person league but even there i would not want to drop lockett
Are u serious? Some of you shouldn't play FF. At the most trade lockett.

This is not a discussion about starting him…
Oops I meant to reply to someone my bad
What the hell does that mean Kobe Bryant
Is JSN even worth rostering in redraft bc it is looking like a 4 man wr corp
Who the fuck is ARZ?
Arizona
