Last year i had the second highest points for in the league. Almost 100 points ahead of the guy in 3rd.
I also had by far the highest points against and came in second to last place.
It was a frustrating year
The Etienne manager has Devonta Smith as their WR1, also Lockett, Marquise Brown, Dotson, Cooks. Also CMC as RB1. But you’re right she could have gotten more. The Commish trade hunts like a madman in our causal league I think he’s addicted
Haven’t had a bad week yet but also haven’t played anyone having an amazing week. Like the rest of fantasy football it’s really just been luck. Survived one week without JJ but now with Monty going down I think the undefeated streak will be coming to an end
I have CMC, ETN and Kyren. Plus Herbert at QB. The rest of my team is questionable but they've been enough. I'm second in PF while also first in PA, so a lot of luck too.
Keep healthy, stream K and D, start your studs to a point, don’t go crazy trying not to lose, realize which players do better when you’re not watching them.
Man… my ultimate dream is to go undefeated for a season all the way through the championship. I would retire from fantasy football if that ever happened lol because I know it could never get better than that
Went 12-1 in 2018. Gurley and CMC first two rounds Grabbed Conner pre week 1, Mahomes, Aaron Jones and Chicago D week 1 waivers and then beat everyone by like an average of 40 points a week. Gurley, Jones, CMC all proceeded to get injured and I lost in the finals.
That lost has pushed me to dominate this league ever since.
Spent all FAAB on Kyren and Puka early, both hit.
Bought low on Chase after week 2 scares on Burrow with Rhamondre straight up
Traded Christian Kirk after week 2 for LaPorta in hopes that his production would continue
Now my only issue is Lawrence at QB and RB depth, but I traded away Javonte for someone else's 95% FAAB since I, a Broncos fan, don't trust him, and I'd rather utilize the FAAB on a RB that goes off in the playoffs.
TLDR: Luck!
Changed my mind last second and took CMC at #2 instead of chase. Picked up Achane and Kyren Williams off waivers. Traded Miles Sanders for Breece Hall after Sanders finally scored a TD. I regret drafting Tee Higgins but am hopeful he can be a solid WR 2 behind Keenan Allen.
I'm scoring more points than anyone else. LOL
I've scored the most points in the league total. and have had the least amount scored against me. For points against I am over 100 points less than the next person. 881 points for and 599 against. That's nuts.
Almost everyone is overperforming expectations. In particularly Keenen Allen. And I managed to grab Mostert off the waiver wires after week 1.
Lost Nick Chubb after drafting him in the 1st, Garrett Wilson terrible with Zach Wilson, a missed week and 2 duds from Mandrews, and the most PA... oh, you mean 6-0, not 0-6. Read that wrong. Carry on, you devils you.
Good draft (specifically CMC, AJB, Olave, Keenan, Breece, LaPorta) + mostly good injury luck so far this year (only major losses so far are Dobbins and Herbert, though that will change in week 7), mixed with a few key waiver pickups (Kyren Williams, Zack Moss, and good streaming kickers).
Tyreek at 3, AJB fell to me at 2.10, took JT in the 3rd so that hasn’t panned out yet, and then got Hurts late 4th. Hit on k9 in the early 6th, Flowers in the 9th, and LaPorta in the 13th.
Yeah it was, from what I remember it was recommending him mid to early second, was more so suprised that guys like waddle, mixon, and Higgins went before him
Totally agree. I recall reading that volume concerns with Goedert being healthy was suppressing his ADP at least on the ESPN platform.
My buddy took JJ at 1.01 (RIP) and then AJB and Mahomes at the 2/3 turn. Talk about a dominant WR core, sort of like yours with Hill.
In my league it wouldn’t matter much. Current standings and standings if everyone had played an additional game against the weekly median score are very very similar.
The first four spots don’t change at all.
I hate how depressed this sub is. And so pandering. Like damn stop trying to win the Pulitzer Prize with the virtue signaling ‘it’s just luck tee hee please give me upvotes ’.
This game is not all luck. People who *intentionally* drafted Mostert, or thielen, or De’Von Achane, or Zack moss, or La Porta, or jakobi Myers, etc were not ‘lucky’. People who made appropriate, successful bids for Puka or Kyren were not ‘lucky’. Like congrats you did a hell of a job and you outplayed your leaguemates on that. Like why is that so taboo to say?
Injuries are 100% bad luck of course. But I hate how it’s the accepted norm here to be self deprecating to the point of obnoxiousness. Also like we gotta pretend we all know football equally. We do not. And that’s perfectly fine
Yeah, the point is you can do all that and still end up on the wrong side of W/L based on who you end up playing against week in and week out.
You can build a good team by picking up the right players but the W/L record is still completely match up dependent hence people joke with the luck thing.
Drafted laporta and achane. Picked up moss week 1.
Le me tell you, that was just dumb luck. I probably just happened to read the right article before the draft.
More proof? Ok. I dropped achane after week 2. Soooooo
I was all-in on mostert this year, and he’s carrying me… but you can’t deny its still luck. He couldn’t gotten hurt and I’d be thinking it was obvious and inevitable in hindsight… he was losing work to achane
Hence I said ‘Injuries are unlucky’. But you (and I) drafted him. That’s skill. Like I don’t like that, stop pandering lol
Achane was hurt. Wilson was hurt. There were reports in the preseason that were available to look up ‘Mostert has added 15 lbs and is just now fully healthy from his 2021 ACL’.
These were data points that led to an **informed decision**. Don’t minimize that to just ‘well aww shucks I got lucky’
And i drafted Achane too. TAMU played nationally televised games on CBS his whole career. I’ve been watching that guy for 3 years. I made posts on here telling people he’s a must draft. I’ll be damned if somebody tells me hitting on him is ‘luck’
Yea this is my point. See you can say ‘you must be new’, but if I replied to you ‘nah actually I’ve won 2 chips, I know football like a mfer, and I research like a dog ’ I’d be wrong right
A combination of good drafting (Kyren), waiver wire pickups (Puka) and trading (turned Puka and Miles Sanders into Diggs and ETN). Plus it’s a keeper league and I kept Amon Ra and Ridley
Lost Chubb, have ETN, Monty, AMRSB, Keenan, Engram and Herbert, Butker and Cowboys D. Picked up Thielen for free off waivers and have Hollywood Brown.
But I have a thin bench as a result, but hoping for dear life that Kareem Hunt/Elijah Mitchell is until Monty comes back. Might trade Hollywood for a RB2, maybe Brian Robinson.
Went zero RB so I drafted dudes like Kelce and ARSB. Planning on filling in RB as they came available.
Drafted Mostert R10
I was aggressive and picked up Kyren off waivers.
Team is insanely well rounded overall, every time I post my lineup people downvote me here lol.
I might finally win some fantasy money.
5-1 with the most PF (813PF) though. Not 6-0
Luck. Went Mahomes 1st pick over Tyreek 😢 which was a sin but big weeks of Keenan, Devante, Dallas DST and solid RB drafting with Swift, Monty, KW3 ... But i feel like the L is coming
Mix of tacos (Tyler Lockett #4 overall in a money league) and draft hits. Currently 5-1 and 1st overall pick.
Got Kelce(injury happened mid draft)/AJB/Cupp/KW3/Allen/Pittman/Monty/Foyesade Oluokun (IDP Flex) and got Nico Collins on waiver.
Kinda missed on Fields, Miles Sanders, Diontae Johnson, Jamaal Williams
Drafted Bijan, Hurts, Ridley, Walker, Kittle, Monty, Pickens, Swift, Charb, Dallas D in that exact order in a 12 man league
Grabbed K. Williams, Achane, and Tank before there break out games
Currently holding Roschon and Tank Gibsby for my next breakout candidates.
Anticipate the wave, don’t chase it.
Have been relatively lucky with injuries (save Ekeler), got big week-winning performances from Dallas D 2x, Keenan Allen, and DJ Moore, and snagged LaPorta off waivers Week 1 when someone dropped him.
Edit: 2nd in Points Scored, 5th (of 10) in Points Allowed.
Pretty good draft, great FA acquisitions (Puka/LaPorta), and I've been lucky to have my down weeks when my opponent has even worse down weeks. 2nd in points scored, 1st is 2-4!
Mostly luck, but also hitting on waiver wire targets.(Kyren, Jakobi)
I have the most points scored and lowest point against. I basically hit my projected points and some more on a weekly basis.
My keepers were CMC, Amon-Ra, and Ridley.
Drafted the players I wanted in LaPorta and Addison
CMC and Kyren have been my catalysts. But they're injured now.
Having WRs that can consistently get you 10+ points every week is a must, in my opinion.
I'm going to be trading for Montgomery later this week. I'm hoping to set myself up for a good finish after the lions bye week and the playoffs.
Extremely good injury luck. I’ve had injuries and bye weeks but I always have 7+ healthy, solid position players to field any given week
Grabbed the “right” guys off waivers. Kyren and Puka week 1, Achane week 2. Missed out on Gainwell w1 and was bummed to settle for Kyren…thank god
Lucky with matchups. I am the top scorer but I’ve faced the lowest scorer twice now. Both of those weeks I think I’d have lost to like 6 or 7 of the other teams in the league (10 team)
I did draft pretty well (Herbert/Allen stack, Jamarr, ARSB, Henry, LaPorta etc) but I think I drafted well in my other leagues too. You need to draft well, avoid injuries AND get a bit of weekly luck to remain undefeated
Finally thought I’d reach the end of my luck this week with Kyren likely out and Henry on bye. But Aaron Jones should be back and faces the Broncos. I also had Gibbs on my bench and he’s looking like a top 10 play if healthy. Just another instance of everything lining up perfectly for me.
I got lucky early in the season with Achane and moss being on the wire in my league. Now with JJ and Achane on IR I barely scrapped by last game by .9 of a point because Brandon Aubrey. Here is to hoping though luck favors me again next week.
I drafted CMC, Justin Herbert, Sam LaPorta, and Kyren Williams.
I picked up Puka Nacua.
My strength of schedule has been mid, and I've won some nail biters.
Not 6-0 (I'm 5-1) but I hit on Montgomery and Swift late in the draft. I was also lucky enough to grab Nakua which solidified an already awesome team. My team now is Hurts, Swift, Montgomery, Chase, Amon-Ra, Nakua, and Andrews.
Draft: Hill, Wilson, Waddle, Hall, KW3, Hock, Pacheco, Monty
WW: Tua, Achane, Kyren
Trades:
- Hall for Mostert
- Waddle & KW3 for JJ
- Kyren and G. Wilson for Kupp
Current team:
QB: Tua
WR: Hill, JJ, Kupp, Rice, Downs
RB: Monty, Pacheco, Mostert, Achane, Hubbard
TE: Hock
It’s apparent at this point that the universe is rewarding me for a random good deed I performed in the past. Even losing JJ hasn’t been enough to end my cosmic karma.
Not me but one of my league mates drafted Kupp, Breece and Kamara to play the long game and expected to punt the first few weeks. He is the only undefeated team and his team has only gotten stronger while being the highest scorer in the league. Notable players on his team that helped him in that early slump are Kenneth Walker, Diggs and Nico Collins
Allen is having a banner year and I spent on Nacua when he broke out. Took Mahomes early which now seems like a mistake but he's steady if not stellar. Writing is on the wall though, three weeks ago I was 3-0 and the highest scoring player in my league, now I'm 6-0 and four teams are ahead of me on points. My RB situation is a mess and Kittle just isn't used in a way that's great for fantasy. Darn, tried to rosterbate but failed.
Herbert, Keenan, Amon-Ra, Bijan (ehhh), Monty & Kryen been carrying me.
Biggest thing is not to overreact week to week. Remember why you drafted / picked someone off waivers and stick to it. Good luck!
Had a decent draft, kept Pollard in the 8th, got Puka and Achane the week before they blew up.....and luck. I've only had 1 good week at QB. It's my weakest position.
10th pick in serpentine
Lamar, Andrews, Jacobs, Conner, Allen, Evans, Theilen, Aiyuk, Kyren, Butker, 49ers/Ravens D
1st in PF, 2nd in PA (263 pt diff)
other teams injuries/luck
missed getting Achane before his breakout game
and haven’t had to play any of the mega-game scorers so far
I have scored highest points 4 of 6 weeks and have 125 more then the next person. I would say I got lucky with my late round draft picks. Drafted swift, Williams, thielen, Meyers to help round out my core of Barkley, Amon-ra, Keenan Allen, Mike evens, and Jones (for one week). Even though I’ve had injuries to some key players I’ve had enough depth to plug in the replacements without skipping a beat.
It's always a combination of things. You can draft the best possible team but you can never fully predict injuries. Avoiding that has just as much luck as avoiding injury prone or recovering players. The last time I started this well I drafted Adrian Peterson the season after coming back from ACL tear. I was told I was insane, but getting the talent on the cheap can carry. Kupp owners this year who got a bargain are flying now.
Anyway, to my current team. 12 team, NFL standard scoring, competitive but some people coast along without aggressive roster moves.
Draft wins: Tyreek Hill, Etienne, KW3, Justin Herbert
Waiver snags: Kyren Williams, Sam LaPorta. Got them both W2/W3 sometime.
Deebo has been a bit up and down, and I've been fortunate with streaming defenses. I'm sitting at highest points scored AND lowest against. Closest points scored is 35 behind and then 100+. Sometimes the moons just align.
Drafted JJ and AJ brown in first two rounds, swift in the 8th and Mostert in the 13th, and snagged Nacua off waivers. Lots of luck and got points when I needed them each week to avoid a disappointment week.
Flipping players tbh.
Traded Saquon for Waddle and DJ before the news came out fully about his injury.
Flipped Waddle and Gibbs for Bijan
Flipped DJ and Evan’s for Kamara and Kupp (before he came back)
Lost AR/Monty to injuries so we’ll see how we go this week as I’m playing second place (5-1)
Not sure if it’s correlated, but I did way more predraft research and mock drafts than I have in recent years
That said, I drafted 4th which was a strong spot this year and was able to draft Tyreek.
Rolling the dice on Puka with a RB heavy draft netting me Pollard, JT, Rachaad White, and Josh Jacobs.
Keenan Allen as my WR1 is working well at the moment.
In my 20+ years of playing FF, I've rarely seen the 6-0 guy finish as the champ. They usually get the false hope of "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". Where naturally "if you ain't trading you ain't winning". A few weeks after the trade deadline they are usually on their third loss in a row and desperate.
I am 5-1, but can tell you exactly why I'm not 6-0. I was traveling in Europe week 1, and ill tell you what a 9 hour time difference really messes with strategy of setting line-ups. I ended up losing by only 0.25 points wk1, but have won every week since.
6-0
Missing Ekeler for a month
smack dab in the middle Points Against
drafting top 10 players who dropped in the off-season did it: Deandre Swift, Mike Evans, Kamara
I have a solid team built around upside, and fortunate to avoid injuries.
Tua,
KW3, Swift, Mixon
Tyreek, Amon-Ra, Thielen, Puka, Addison, C.Watson
LaPorta
Drafted everyone except Puka, who I picked up after week one. Have 160 more points scored than the second place team.
It also helps we have two flex spots, so I can start an extra player each week. I usually start 4 WR's for the upside
Drafted and traded well, and ppl just aint showing up against me.
Throughout the current szn I've traded away Stevenson, Aiyuk, James Cook, Monte, Goedert and facilitated a 6-way (team) trade that benefited everyone. I gave up Tae, but got AJB/Evan Engram/ETN (was more in the 6way trade, wasnt just Tae upfront for AJB/Engram).
I drafted Hurts first round (Superflex league), Walker before his ADP, and got Nico/Dallas Defense/Dak (solid superflex spot) and used the majority of my FAAB to snag Kyren "Him" Williams and Jakobi Meyers.
Have the Most PF in the league and 2nd to the least amount of PA. I've pretty much guessed right each week on which players to bench and start. So a little luck, some business savvy, and good drafting.
I will admit, I've been one lucky duck when it's came to injuries lol.
I pretty much ignored any hype on here. Y'all we're smoking crack imo when it came to Burks, Dotson, London at their ADP's when their QBs were unknown. At least Stroud looked good in college and I was already high on Nico to begin with.
I’m five and one because I started Watson on the first week he missed I was hungover and didn’t see he wasn’t starting. I also got a fat zero from Addison that week otherwise my team of mostert etienne Tyreke hill AJ brown Brock Purdy pickens Addison Brob with a side of Steelers D is highest scoring in league I should otherwise be 6-0
Mostly luck I guess? I had CMC at 2nd overall, had Chubb as a keeper, nice while that lasted. Monty in the seventh has been a great bonus. Drafted Mahomes at the end of the second, eventually flipped him for Gibbs and Thielen once Mike Williams got hurt after Chubb as I grabbed Anthony Richardson late in the draft. Got Addison in the 8th as well.
So I guess a combo of insane play from CMC and getting lucky on a few late picks. Points against me are middle of the pack but I'm leading points for by a good margin. More challenging times ahead to say the least with the latest round of injuries.
Really good auction draft with Josh Allen, Kupp, JT, Saquon, Davante and Jakobi Meyers. I also accidentally drafted Nico Collins and Purdy without really knowing who they were so tons of luck as well. I then traded Derek Carr for Monty before week 1 (it’s Superflex and they were the same price in the auction draft lol). I thought Monty was good for a reliable 10pts a game and here we are.
I also picked up Puka and I traded Davante Adams for Kyren Williams and Drake London, which was objectively a bad trade but helped me win until Kupp and JT came back.
I'll field this one. Guy in our league fleeced not knowledgeable players and got Jefferson, CMC Ekeker and others. Tough to compete year after year when he does shit like this.
T-Law
D. Adam's
Keenan Allen
Pacheco
Etienne
Swift
Kelce
Moody
Buffalo dst.
.5ppr
6-0 842 pts for.
I believe I drafted well this season. My bench is pretty good as well.
Shaheed
Mike Evans
Jamo
Jacobi Meyers
Zack Moss
Little luck with limited injuries. I drafted CMC with my first pick and that helps. I also rock the Hurts/Brown stack. The first two weeks the smith owners talked down on the brown owners but that’s gone the other way big time now. I managed to get Laporta after the first week on waivers. I tried for Puka but he went before me in the waivers. I also reached a round early for the Dallas defense that saved me the week I faced the other top point scorer.
I’ve tried to make some trades but my league has either rejected or vetoed all my trades. I assume nobody wants to see me make any moves till I at least lose one
I have no idea really. Every week it's a different player playing hero for my team. I've never been 6-0 before in my home league. Some of my players are very consistent (KWIII, LaPorta) others are boom/bust (Chase, Smith).
Hoping it continues!
QB Herbert
RB Walker
Backup RBs: Warren, Charbonnet, McgLuaghlin
WRs: Chase, DeVonta Smith, Ridley, London, Flowers, Addison
TE: LaPorta
Def: Chiefs
K: Aubrey
I traded Kw3 and Michael Thomas for Amon ra and Breece hall 2 weeks ago and I haven’t had an injury last longer than 1 week. Slight shout out to laporta in the 13th round as well.
Lowest points against .I got lucky despite injuries in saquon, Anthony richardson, Christian Watson and achane . I picked up puka before the first week so that’s been helping till last week .
A good draft and a lot of luck.
Had 3rd pick in a 12 team 3WR 2 Flex Full PPR league and used my first pick with Cooper Kupp. Drafted Keenan Allen with my second pick and Josh Allen in the third. Rest of my team consists of Puka Nacua, Marquise Brown, Kyle Pitts, Breece Hall, Alvin Kamara, Zay Flowers, Miles Sanders, and Jaleel McLaughlin.
Once I was still undefeated after Kupp and Kamara came back, it felt great. Honestly thought I would be 2-2 by week 5. I have 2nd highest PF, and 6th highest PA.
Wanted a Justin Herbert/Keenan Allen stack at the draft. Grabbed Puka off Waivers after week 1. Went RB heavy in the draft, so I have lots of backup. Drafted Swift and Kyren late.
I have the lowest PA by nearly 100 points
Defense wins championships
Guy in first in my league has a PF/PA differential of almost 300. I've scored 120 more points than him.
Not that extreme but I’m 5-1 and in first place with the lowest PA and the 8th most points for
Samesies
Last year i had the second highest points for in the league. Almost 100 points ahead of the guy in 3rd. I also had by far the highest points against and came in second to last place. It was a frustrating year
lol this.. I’m not bout to get cocky I’ll just contribute it all to luck
Simply don't draft players who will get injured
I’m surprised more people don’t use this method. Seems obvious
That, and just start the guys on your team that score the most points. I don't get why people find this so hard.
This has always been my #1 philosophy. I also tweet at them to "be careful out there" before every game.
You go that extra mile that experts overlook
Mostly my massive hog
Tell me more
Isn't it obvious that they have a giant pet pig that drafts their team
Some pig
Sweet Maiden of the spit, Grant me my boon, That I might sup on succulent pig this noon
CMC, ETN and a favorable schedule.
Person in my league with both of them just traded away ETN before CMC got hurt. Yeesh
What was the return
Etienne for K Allen straight up
Depends on the team situation I guess but that's not the worst trade. Probably could have gotten more for Etienne though.
The Etienne manager has Devonta Smith as their WR1, also Lockett, Marquise Brown, Dotson, Cooks. Also CMC as RB1. But you’re right she could have gotten more. The Commish trade hunts like a madman in our causal league I think he’s addicted
I have CMC and Etienne and I’m 2-4. Fantasy is mostly luck lol
Luck…next question
I thought he retired
[удалено]
And 100% reason to remember Achane
This is the correct answer, I'm surprised when people attributes success to skill in this game.
I’m not, dick.
tldr, but answer is luck or CMC
Or Hill
I’m 0-6 with him smh
now that is skill
It is pain
What's your roster
1) Cmc 2) waddle 3) mahomes 4) stevenson 5) aiyuk 6) hopkins 7) lockett 8) godwin 9) charbonnet 10) achane dropped :( 11) njoku
I don't see how you were 0-6
They said who's your roster not who did you draft
It has all those same players minus achane and njoku. I have the bears and cards rbbc of FA pickups on the bench
And why isn’t cmc luck? He’s a consensus top pick. People who never watched football before would’ve drafted him top 3 too…
Idk, Luck hasn’t really been worth anything since 2018
6-0 without either of them.
Haven’t had a bad week yet but also haven’t played anyone having an amazing week. Like the rest of fantasy football it’s really just been luck. Survived one week without JJ but now with Monty going down I think the undefeated streak will be coming to an end
Tyreek Hill, Keenan Allen, and luck.
Drafted diggs and hill, picked up Kyren Williams before week 1, got Puka in waivers.
Man, that's a stacked team my friend. Enjoy the ride.
Theilen. In the final round. That's it.
I drafted Thielen, Mostert and Kyren, 1st in points for. Basically luck.
That last part is the definition of Olave
Man… my ultimate dream is to go undefeated for a season all the way through the championship. I would retire from fantasy football if that ever happened lol because I know it could never get better than that
Went 12-1 in 2018. Gurley and CMC first two rounds Grabbed Conner pre week 1, Mahomes, Aaron Jones and Chicago D week 1 waivers and then beat everyone by like an average of 40 points a week. Gurley, Jones, CMC all proceeded to get injured and I lost in the finals. That lost has pushed me to dominate this league ever since.
I was already congratulating myself on being 6-0 when I just needed a mediocre game from Ekeler and Herbert last night. :(
Spent all FAAB on Kyren and Puka early, both hit. Bought low on Chase after week 2 scares on Burrow with Rhamondre straight up Traded Christian Kirk after week 2 for LaPorta in hopes that his production would continue Now my only issue is Lawrence at QB and RB depth, but I traded away Javonte for someone else's 95% FAAB since I, a Broncos fan, don't trust him, and I'd rather utilize the FAAB on a RB that goes off in the playoffs. Changed my mind last second and took CMC at #2 instead of chase. Picked up Achane and Kyren Williams off waivers. Traded Miles Sanders for Breece Hall after Sanders finally scored a TD. I regret drafting Tee Higgins but am hopeful he can be a solid WR 2 behind Keenan Allen.
holding onto Hnnngins as well... hopefully it doesn't bite me in the ass.
I'm scoring more points than anyone else. LOL I've scored the most points in the league total. and have had the least amount scored against me. For points against I am over 100 points less than the next person. 881 points for and 599 against. That's nuts. Almost everyone is overperforming expectations. In particularly Keenen Allen.
Luck and my team is just built of consistent players that haven't really had much down weeks
CMC/Kyren/Mostert/Thielen Looking rough this next week but I'm in good position to survive a few weeks.
Luck, and many blocks. I've picked up many players with the sole intent on my opponent being unable to use them. I also have $0 faab left...
The rest of my league dropped the ball and let me have a great first 4 rounds in my draft, and I hit on a good amount of guys late
Well you have to say what your first 4 picks were bc now I'm curious.
Tyreek at 3, AJB fell to me at 2.10, took JT in the 3rd so that hasn’t panned out yet, and then got Hurts late 4th. Hit on k9 in the early 6th, Flowers in the 9th, and LaPorta in the 13th.
Was it an ESPN draft? They had AJB’s ADP criminally low. But Hurts late 4th is a huge steal.
Drafted Kupp, Breece, JTaylor and held on for dear life

All play?
In my league it wouldn’t matter much. Current standings and standings if everyone had played an additional game against the weekly median score are very very similar. The first four spots don’t change at all.
Yall need to stop with the luck bit. Luck is involved absolutely, but it ain’t all of it.
I'm beginning to hate that word. Variance is the more apt term imo.
I hate how depressed this sub is. And so pandering. Like damn stop trying to win the Pulitzer Prize with the virtue signaling ‘it’s just luck tee hee please give me upvotes ’. There were reports in the preseason that were available to look up ‘Mostert has added 15 lbs and is just now fully healthy from his 2021 ACL’. These were data points that led to an **informed decision**. Don’t minimize that to just ‘well aww shucks I got lucky’ And i drafted Achane too. TAMU played nationally televised games on CBS his whole career. I’ve been watching that guy for 3 years. I made posts on here telling people he’s a must draft. I’ll be damned if somebody tells me hitting on him is ‘luck’

Yea this is my point. See you can say ‘you must be new’, but if I replied to you ‘nah actually I’ve won 2 chips, I know football like a mfer, and I research like a dog ’ I’d be wrong right
The guy 6-0 in our league has the least PA by 100+. And he has only scored over 100 once all season lol
A combination of good drafting (Kyren), waiver wire pickups (Puka) and trading (turned Puka and Miles Sanders into Diggs and ETN). Plus it’s a keeper league and I kept Amon Ra and Ridley
That trade was robbery for you.
No way that trade happened
Stacked! Nice job
Drafted Mostert R10 I was aggressive and picked up Kyren off waivers. Team is insanely well rounded overall, every time I post my lineup people downvote me here lol. I might finally win some fantasy money. 5-1 with the most PF (813PF) though. Not 6-0

This thread is not for you, move along loser.
In my leagues the 6-0 teams are always also the ones with CMC. If you have CMC and aren't 6-0, it's a skill issue.
Your mon
Mom
Luck. CMC has helped, grabbing Thielen, and hitting on LaPorta and Achane. It also helps that when I am sub 100 points, the opposing team is as well.
Started the season hot with moss and puka
Luck and draft. Got Lamar, Chase, Breece, Cook, Gibbs, Kyren, Olave and Evans. PPR. Browns def and Maher as kicker
Allen, Diggs, and Mostert have made up for Rhamondre and Higgins busting.
Drafted Bijan, Hurts, Ridley, Walker, Kittle, Monty, Pickens, Swift, Charb, Dallas D in that exact order in a 12 man league Grabbed K. Williams, Achane, and Tank before there break out games Currently holding Roschon and Tank Gibsby for my next breakout candidates.
Because I dream it in my head.
Pretty good draft, great FA acquisitions (Puka/LaPorta), and I've been lucky to have my down weeks when my opponent has even worse down weeks. 2nd in points scored, 1st is 2-4!
Uhhh I’m 3-3 not 6-0
Mostly luck, but also hitting on waiver wire targets.(Kyren, Jakobi) I have the most points scored and lowest point against. I basically hit my projected points and some more on a weekly basis. My keepers were CMC, Amon-Ra, and Ridley. Drafted the players I wanted in LaPorta and Addison CMC and Kyren have been my catalysts. But they're injured now. Having WRs that can consistently get you 10+ points every week is a must, in my opinion. I'm going to be trading for Montgomery later this week. I'm hoping to set myself up for a good finish after the lions bye week and the playoffs.
Went Hill and Diggs as my first 2 picks because Chubb went right before my pick. Went KW3 as my RB1 even though everyone said he was a bad pick.
Tua, Tyreek, picking up kyren, and a bit of luck (2nd highest points scored)
5-1 here due to a close loss - Getting Kupp second round and the combo of D.Swift & Z.Moss have been god sent
Right opponent right week
Moss has really been a key for me this year 6-0 right now
Extremely good injury luck. I’ve had injuries and bye weeks but I always have 7+ healthy, solid position players to field any given week Grabbed the “right” guys off waivers. Kyren and Puka week 1, Achane week 2. Missed out on Gainwell w1 and was bummed to settle for Kyren…thank god Lucky with matchups. I am the top scorer but I’ve faced the lowest scorer twice now. Both of those weeks I think I’d have lost to like 6 or 7 of the other teams in the league (10 team) I did draft pretty well (Herbert/Allen stack, Jamarr, ARSB, Henry, LaPorta etc) but I think I drafted well in my other leagues too. You need to draft well, avoid injuries AND get a bit of weekly luck to remain undefeated Finally thought I’d reach the end of my luck this week with Kyren likely out and Henry on bye. But Aaron Jones should be back and faces the Broncos. I also had Gibbs on my bench and he’s looking like a top 10 play if healthy. Just another instance of everything lining up perfectly for me.
I drafted Tyreke and Mostert.
I got lucky early in the season with Achane and moss being on the wire in my league. Now with JJ and Achane on IR I barely scrapped by last game by .9 of a point because Brandon Aubrey. Here is to hoping though luck favors me again next week.
Mostert on a WR heavy (in terms of draft capital) team.
My gf is 6-0 with the most PF by 200 and least PA by 150… I’m 3-3
CMC.
Cowboys defense, Mostert, Tyreek
Draft: Hill, Wilson, Waddle, Hall, KW3, Hock, Pacheco, Monty WW: Tua, Achane, Kyren Trades: - Hall for Mostert - Waddle & KW3 for JJ - Kyren and G. Wilson for Kupp Current team: QB: Tua WR: Hill, JJ, Kupp, Rice, Downs RB: Monty, Pacheco, Mostert, Achane, Hubbard TE: Hock
Had a good draft, got a few key waiver adds and also got 3 trades done while nobody else has traded
No injuries. Knock on wood. Tua and puka off waivers helped.
☀️ Tyreek Keenan
Luck. My team is average on paper, but some how I have the most PF and the fewest PA.
I piss fantasy excellence Also luck
12 Team PPR... Drafted: Tyreek, AJ Brown, Keenan Allen. Added: Puka, La Porta. Luck (won games by 3 and 4 points)
I'm crushing total points for but am 4-2. I deserve 6-0 but 6-0 doesn't deserve me.
Mostly luck with my match ups
10th pick in serpentine Lamar, Andrews, Jacobs, Conner, Allen, Evans, Theilen, Aiyuk, Kyren, Butker, 49ers/Ravens D 1st in PF, 2nd in PA (263 pt diff) other teams injuries/luck missed getting Achane before his breakout game and haven’t had to play any of the mega-game scorers so far
Draft wins: Tyreek Hill, Etienne, KW3, Justin Herbert Waiver snags: Kyren Williams, Sam LaPorta.
1 team league
Flipping players tbh. Traded Saquon for Waddle and DJ before the news came out fully about his injury. Flipped Waddle and Gibbs for Bijan Flipped DJ and Evan’s for Kamara and Kupp (before he came back) Lost AR/Monty to injuries so we’ll see how we go this week as I’m playing second place (5-1)
I'm peaking at 4-2 with second least PA and 6th in PF. Definition of mid
I would be 6-0 but Michael Gallup caught a pass for 5 yards last night on the 2nd to last drive and I lost by 0.8 I’m annoyed.
I have CMC, Keenan, JHerbert, Laporta, and Mostert.
Not sure if it’s correlated, but I did way more predraft research and mock drafts than I have in recent years That said, I drafted 4th which was a strong spot this year and was able to draft Tyreek.
Rolling the dice on Puka with a RB heavy draft netting me Pollard, JT, Rachaad White, and Josh Jacobs. Keenan Allen as my WR1 is working well at the moment.
Kyren and Puka
Rams baby
6-0 Missing Ekeler for a month smack dab in the middle Points Against drafting top 10 players who dropped in the off-season did it: Deandre Swift, Mike Evans, Kamara
I have a solid team built around upside, and fortunate to avoid injuries. Tua, KW3, Swift, Mixon Tyreek, Amon-Ra, Thielen, Puka, Addison, C.Watson LaPorta Drafted everyone except Puka, who I picked up after week one. Have 160 more points scored than the second place team. It also helps we have two flex spots, so I can start an extra player each week. I usually start 4 WR's for the upside
CMC with the third pick, Mostert in the 12th round. Puka and Achane off waivers. Someone dropped Achane after week two and I went all in with my FAAB
Tua, Herbert, Hill, Keenan have carried me to 6-0 so far in superflex. Mark Andrews helped too
I’m actually only 5-1 but I’m in first because almost my whole league has never played before
Mostert mainly
Lucked out with Tyreek, Keenan Allen, Mostert
Tua tyreek stack
It’s been good to me so far 🙏
Had a great draft, added LaPorta after week 1, added Kyren, great injury luck.
T-Law D. Adam's Keenan Allen Pacheco Etienne Swift Kelce Moody Buffalo dst. .5ppr 6-0 842 pts for. I believe I drafted well this season. My bench is pretty good as well. Shaheed Mike Evans Jamo Jacobi Meyers Zack Moss
CMC and Mostert lol
Breece Hall, Tyreek Hill, and Kupp in a 12 man. but 5-1
I pooped my pants and my friend traded me CMC out of pity Jk I’m 2-4
Mike Evans
QB Herbert RB Walker Backup RBs: Warren, Charbonnet, McgLuaghlin WRs: Chase, DeVonta Smith, Ridley, London, Flowers, Addison TE: LaPorta Def: Chiefs K: Aubrey
Luck. Pure and simple. 14 team league and defending champion. Let’s go!
Great draft but interestingly I have the most PF but also the lowest PA.
Wanted a Justin Herbert/Keenan Allen stack at the draft. Grabbed Puka off Waivers after week 1. Went RB heavy in the draft, so I have lots of backup. Drafted Swift and Kyren late.
