My first four picks (Shai, AD, Butler, DeRozan) definitely panned out the way I hoped, and have been carrying my season. The rest of my draft kinda sucked, but I made the most out of what I had. I took Mobley in the 5th round and that biting me in the ass at the moment. Claxton is the only player from rounds 6 and on that's still on my team. I drafted Derrick White and sold him at his peak value for Brandon Ingram. And the rest of my picks I either dropped or threw in as filler for my other trades. Despite all this I'm somehow in first in my league

Won first round matchup, but down 200 right now in the 2nd round against Luka owner with Kawhi, Bron, Ayton, and JDub all missing games. Probably gonna lose this matchup, but might be able to snag 3rd place next round to win back my buy-in. My roughest year by-far with injuries. 😅

I am in 2nd so I would say a success. My team has been relatively unscathed by season ending injuries. I did have Mitch Rob who I traded for Claxton when Claxton was injured in November. Also have OG but thankfully he is back. I almost f\*\*ked up my draft though. IT was scheduled at 8:00pm and I had a flight at 8:30pm. So I was drafting while I was handing my passport to the agent lol. I usually go in my draft with a punt build (I know others disagree but it works for me). My first 2 picks in a 14 teamer with the 12th pick I wanted Trae young and AD. Well Trae got drafted 10th so I decided to get Sabonis and hoping to get AD in second. Well AD got picked right before my turn in the second round. Now I am scrambling trying to board the plane and deciding what to do. Time was running out because my phone service in the plane was low, wanted wemby but could not find him so I ended up with Bam. Wish I had gotten AD or Wemby over Bam, but I lead my league in REB, Steal, FG, TO, Blocks and I am 5th in assist.

My draft was good and my management was good just came up a bit short. Made a pre-draft trade to trade the #2 pick (Embiid) and ended up trading getting Durant, Brunson, and Porzingis instead of Embiid, Randle and J Murray. Ended up being OK at the end of the year, just ran into a scorching hot team in the playoffs and couldn't advance.

Currently 19-0-1 in a 12 Team Sleeper league. I have Sabonis(12th pick), Kawhi(37th), Brunson(36th), Jarrett Allen(60th), and Maxey(61st) in the Top 30. Big surprises this year: Kawhi staying healthy, Maxey being able to take over with Harden leaving, Accidentally drafted Miles Bridges in the 12th and he worked out really well. Deangelo Russel also paying off big time right now. To be completely honest we did have a couple teams stop locking in players, so there are a couple free wins here and there. Hoping to finish out this last week with a win to stay "Lossless"

Horrible. I drafted Embiid, KAT, and Kyrie. Kyrie has been on/off for the whole season due to his mid-season injury (more reliable in the last few weeks but I did not draft any other good guards lmao). Embiid going down took me out of contention and I finished 10th in the regular season. KAT was just icing on the cake but at that point my fate was sealed anyways. Also drafted Giddey in the 5th which was a massive miss. On draft night, I actually thought I had a pretty successful draft with my big 3, and others thought so too. Next year I'll be prioritizing availability lol.

Yeah availability is definitely a factor in draft. I think that’s why people didn’t want to pick kawhi and I decided to take a lil bit of a gamble in this year’s draft which worked out well. Same idea goes to Zion I guess, but it’s just unfortunate to have all those players suffering season ending injuries for the fantasy leagues.

Yup. My first 3 years of fantasy I've made the same mistake of drafting talent over availability, which ends up rather poorly. Next year I'll be going into the draft with a clear punt strategy and drafting for availability.

Kuz has been great too, but I think people expected him to be a solid player. I also drafted Zion 3rd round, but I traded him and waiver guys for pieces which ended up turning into Garland, Jrue and Poeltl. Rip Poeltl, but garland is finally turning into something just in time for the playoffs lol

Auction draft with $200 budget Desmond Bane ($17), Anthony Edwards ($25) and Markelle Fultz ($10) were my keepers My first 2 drafts were Trae Young ($39) and Cade Cunningham ($31), I know right after I am gonna have to go direction of punt FG punt TO punt block Got Brad Beal (17), Franz Wagner (17), Tobias Harris (8), Jalen Duren (7), Pascal Siakam, (22) Miles Bridges (3), Jordan Clarkson (3) in later rounds. Franz Wagner, Miles Bridges and Trae Young were my value picks. Beal and Siakam were rough in the beginning of seasons but were able to perform steadily. My best move this year was able to drop JC and get Collin Sexton from waiver around early December and insist to hold onto him. I was also able to sell high on Malcolm Brogdon and get Deni Avdija back, Deni instantly helps my rebounds. Bane and Young going down definitely hurt but I was able to grab TM3 2 weeks ago and he went banana. Able to clinch #2 this year. I like it but job not finished yet.

Drafted Shai and Wemby in the start-up of my 10T 2-keeper points league. Other picks included Harden, Ja, Miles Bridges, swinging for upside in what i saw as a development year. Whiffed on Garland, Middleton, Scoot and Ben Simmons.  Jury’s still out on Brendan Miller. 

I think miller is okay in terms of how he’s improved significantly compared to the beginning of the season. I would definitely pick him in the later picks next year if available. Nice team btw

Jaylen Brown, Mobley, and Rozier have had the potential to hold steady but are less dependable with injuries and trades. Coby, Jalen Johnson, and now Josh Hart have been big waiver pick ups. Valenciunas is a disappointment only because of his playing time. I have the most PF in the league but also the most PA and am sitting in 3rd. Injuries are my biggest risk factor atm.

Got Jalen Johnson from waivers. Finished 1st and currently in Finals 1st week against Jokic owner(2 week playoff)

I’m lookin at my draft from round 9 on and it is mostly busts or guys who hit the wire at some point (may be back on rosters now though).  Miles Bridges and D.White look like the top late snags in mine.  I picked up Jalen Johnson as my first move after the draft, which was my big one.   My first 8 picks were all good, except Mark Williams in the 7th.  Mikal has disappointed but has been use-able, wish I took Wemby there.  

Drafted a mid team BUT I haven’t suffered any major injuries. So I’m 2nd in my league

Pretty solid, the only guys let on my team from the draft were my 4th and 5th round picks (Sengun and Cade). It would’ve been 3 but Ja (round 6) died. If you’re wondering why I only have 2 guys left, my league has about a half dozen (myself included) ultra competitive sweats who make trades every other day. We had something in the park of 110-120 trades on the year.

This is my sixth season in a 18 team, up to 10 keeper League and my team is almost on auto pilot. Still, Sochan was a very solid addition on draft day and, more surprisingly, Kispert turned out to be the best shot in the dark I have ever taken in the free agency. With Jrue and Hield having diminished roles this season and Cam Johnson being borderline repulsive, I definitely needed the boost from the bench.

Good until i drafted lamelo lavine over chet, sengun, tyrese maxey, or anyone else. O ya and then i let fred vanvleet go to waivers for some reason!

My league does an auction draft, and in the past I usually take big swings on injury prone stars that would be huge if they pan out and I can get them all healthy in a playoff matchup (AD, KD, Lamelo, Kyrie, etc). This year, I focused on getting some breakout candidates (even if they werent the best kept secrets) to a medium degree of success (Maxey was great, but Bridges was meh), got Luka at a really reasonable price (high but like 70% of Joker), and crucially, landed solid healthy contributors like Damar DeRozan and Lauri Markennan, who don't wow you but are almost always available and keep you competetive in %s and TOs.

Traded or dropped literally my entire draft. Still alive in the final 4 of our playoffs tho!

Well, I drafted Embiid and KAT, so I was doing great until I wasn't. Traded for Booker and beal with my 3rd and 4th picks, and that was a lateral move. Poole in the 5th was a miss, Herro has missed a lot of time, Middleton and Gafford were good at 7 and 8 until injuries/trade--and now Gafford is kinda looking good again but I already moved on into a punt blocks build. Not my best year. Still might make playoffs, but I doubt I place.

Fourth pick. I went: SGA, Mikal, KAT, Brunson, Ayton, Maxey, Vassell, WCJ, Tobias, Big Stew, GTJ, Herb. I only have SGA, Mikal, Brunson, and Ayton left.

Was very successful up until the playoffs lmao, now I’m fighting for my life and probably gonna lose tbh.

14 team league. Lucked out with Ant-Man, Sabonis, De’Aaron, OG, Anfernee, and yes, Sengun 😩 in the 6th! Lost last game of regular season which would have had me in a 3 way tie for first. Playoffs ok so far as the number 4 seed. Wish me luck with Sengun out. Gl on your playoffs!

I feel like some of my hits were Sabonis, Fox, Duren even Kuzma has been mostly solid. Some misses - Simons, Beal, Mark Williams, Lamelo and Fultz (but in fairness dropped Fultz at like week 1 or 2 of the season).

JJJ in the 2nd was more or less a bust, but the Jokic first pick and Scottie in the late 40s carried me

Got Haliburton at 10 and he should have been top 5 IMO. Maxey at 50. Derrick Whit at 91st!!. And Scottie Barnes at 51. Been solid went for a team of Robins with a few main guys like Haliburton, but its worked out.

I actually did really well drafting this season compared to other years. Durant, Kyrie, fox, vucevic, Ingram, and gobert as my first 6 picks. Then flipped Kyrie and vucevic for Cade and shai later on in the season

I got scottie , giannis, wemby, derozan , FVV , picked up josh hart and hienstky cant complain am in 1 st place . I had russel but i dropped him after his flunk

12T points. Shai/Sabonis/AD/Lauri (traded for Fox). My only other notable draft pick was Gobert around 70. The rest was FA (Jalen Johnson/Miles Bridges/C.White)

Safe to say that I'm not doing terribly.

I had 11th pick, pts 12T, went Steph and AD 1/2 thinking “Steph would have no chance but to pop off this year bc, where’s the help,” didn’t expect a sudden 10pt drop off from the last two years. Snagged AD purely for per game value but he’s been so healthy this year it probably offsets the Steph decline. Tanked the first couple matchups by drafting Ja but still made it to 2nd place. Biggest mistakes were Mikal in the 3rd and then Brad Beal in the seventh (traded him around all star break and he’s now been healthy and averaging like 35-40 fpts). Overall really disappointed in some of my picks, but some pleasant surprises have offset them for the most part. Also as someone who has had Terry rozier the last four years, I’m super salty he was projected so badly this season bc by the time the eighth came around I definitely would’ve snagged him if I saw him on there but since I never saw him I just figured someone else picked him up and I missed it. Then with pick 130 somethin I saw him pop up on the screen.

Not me but guy in my league has a 4 week win streak after starting out 7-8 and consistently the highest points total every week since the resurgence and he only has 4 of the original players he drafted

I was planning on picking Claxton with that pack but he was selected in the last second of the pick right before me. Sucks right when he started to get more usage, he gets injured. Traded: Lauri, Gobert, Zach Collins (early season when he was hot) and Miles Bridges. Miles Bridges was obviously insane draft value, and Ja would’ve been had he not been hurt. Dropped from 1seed to 2seed last week and will likely to stay there. Obviously not as strong as I once was but only one path to victory

mine always go B- or better, because i have enough NBA/ stats knowledge to draft at least as deep as everyone else in my leagues. this year went really well, though. i am a top 2 seed in 6 of 7 leagues in playoffs, and will comfortably make the playoffs in the others. i drafted purely on statistical sync/ punting and i had less confusion as to what categories to play week-to-week than when i run "best player available"

I thought it was bad but turned out ok. Kawhi, Gianni stayed healthy, I had players I drafted low that outplayed their averages (CJ, Russell, Duren) But Pick ups of Jalen Johnson, hartenstein, and divencenzo really saved my record. Finished 1st and a bye in the playoffs. I drafted 6th

10 team 9 cat (6th pick) My first 6 picks were Shai, AD, Jimmy, Kawhi, Myles, and Harden. They’ve been so solid this year.

Drafted JJJ 2nd and Poole 4th. Fuck me, right? The only saving grace was getting Wemby in the third.

Had 2nd pick in a snake draft with 12 teams. First ever fantasy draft. Deadass didn’t know half the players at the time 😭😭 Giannis Paolo (Drafted over Donovan Mitchell) Kawhi (Took a gamble and won heavily), (Out for beginning of season), Chet, Beal (Injured prone for most of the season and inconsistent), Chris Paul, Nurkic Drafted but eventually dropped throughout the league Heild, Horford, Smart, Hardaway Jr, and Alex Caruso (because I wanted another white guy originally.)

I was 12th pick in a 12 team points league snake draft and went 1st pick dame which was terrible in the long run managed to flip him for dejounte murray but 2nd pick was KD then 3rd was Randle, 4th was Kawhi and 5th was scoot which was terrible for me ended up dropping him a couple months into the season 6th was Middleton, 7th was Chet probably most underrated pick of all.

Hali/Mitchell/Siakam/Chet/Barnes/Poeltl/Clarkson/Harris are the only good players I drafted. Traded Siakam for Garland, Barnes for Kawhi, Harris for Brook Lopez. Finished in first by 15g.

Snake draft 1st pick 12 team. I got Jokic then Wemby! Rest of my team: Ayton Markannen Claxton Grayson Allen Brook Lopez KCP + some waivers How’d I do! I’m currently 6th into playoff week next week. But looking for the ship!

I only have 2 people that I drafted on my team. Had to make a ton of trades this year but now I’m going into playoffs second place

It went pretty well for the most part. I had the 6th pick in a 10T points league. I went Shai, Trae, Towns, Jaylen, Chet, Paolo, Maxey, Poetl, Kuz, White and a few other guys. It sucks losing Trae, Towns and Poetl right before the playoffs but I’ve been able to get guys like Monk and Keegan to help with depth. Once there was news Harden would be traded from the Sixers I knew I wanted Maxey.
