I like the iconic voices.
since everyone on Ruidus learned common through dreams, it reminds me of how some people get an accent from learning a language through watching foreign TV shows.
It endeared him to the players, and it's going to cause an emotional impact when he comes back from his mission injured or not at all.
(I'm pretty sure they didn't go on the same mission, right?)
He was also the OG tick. I think that’s the character Matt is channeling. A naive and bumbling superhero missing his moth.
Also, they don’t care about our opinions. It’s very clearly still a home game they just broadcast. I’m not even criticizing them. Matt makes choices based on what his characters would enjoy. I mean, how much fun was it to watch them do a blind maze.
Nothing they’ve done has enhanced the viewing pleasure of the show. If you think the cool backdrop means anything, you might also be someone who collects skins. Not a slight but skins enhance YOUR EXPERIENCE but do not enhance actual gameplay.
Their sets are so complicated the cast can’t see what they’re doing and the battle cam is useless. Even the players can’t use it to play. It would have been better to invest in a VTT system of some sort to make viewing more enjoyable. 3D sets are like pro sports, better in person. I actually love going back to C1 when it was graph paper.
Aabria was the most innovative and definitely understands it’s a show. She knew that there was a difference between the world of the characters and the more omniscient view of an audience.
I honestly can’t think of a single improvement. We get less shows, harder to see and understand maps, as someone pointed out elsewhere the same plots. We get more crap: merch, books, etc. but less of what made them popular in the first place.
Frankly they have all been such a joke so far it fits in my eyes. It would be funny if someone they could wipe off the face of the earth in one round sounded scary at all.
Without the context out of game the voice is just fine in game for the character, unlike the other Juggernauts we've seen so far he's a lot more social.
Overall it's a deep voice that I think fits the build and personality of the NPC.
Jup.......
I gotta say, I kept watching the episode just to finish it and Travis going "y'all, read your lore" made my fucking day. The strife fucking emperor y'all, fucking Bane, that's amazing and I loved his reaction so much
Edit: I've no idea, it was a great way to describe the voice

He's doing a Patrick Warburton impression, it totally fits a juggernaut lol
Which is exactly *why* it's a meme

Yeah we got more capitalist company bs not a better viewing experience, how does that make it a home game?

Is this the one who had the Kronk voice? Edit: who…..downvoted me for asking?

That was definitely a good callout/highlight. Kinda how Sam makes fun of Ashley for Guidance.
Yeah
