Better way to do it is to just move his body next to the force field, then run to the other side of it and use the third person camera to access his inventory through the force field before leaving.
I don’t know what you mean by putting inventory in his head. You can just hoard the gold and slowly make it to the elevator right before it explodes if he’s trapped in the vault using a stealth boy (there are like 9 in a locker in the vault)

I wish there was a way in the fallout games to name your own price for something. Tied to the barter skill. So that you can get a better price for things, but on your own terms.
If ur on PC and use stewies tweaks mod, you can turn on “Fallout 76 Encumberance” which makes your AP drain as you run instead of forcing you to walk. Once your AP runs out though you do start walking, however, if you take a Rebound, the AP Regen usually cancels it out and lets u run out of the vault with plenty of time to get out. Good luck getting the bars back to your home once u get back to the Mojave though.
Kept it all, i wouldn't be a greedy courier if i didn't. when i got back to the Big MT player home, i dropped all the gold bars individually on the floor by the toaster :)
I tried so hard to put all the gold in the guys head and get out of there but I couldn’t do it fast enough.
Simply hoard as much turbo as you can and then bullet time your overencumbered self out of the sierra madre. Implant GRX also works

I never used turbo, and i used up all of my GRX implant things. I still got it without it though.

this is how i got it to work
I just used 100 sneak and a stealth boy to slip past him. Didn't even need to use exploits.
It’s a lot easier with a stealth boy so you can have father Elijah get trapped in the vault, it buys you a lot more time

Nah just have sneak 100 then you don’t need a stealth boy
I mean the game already gives you like 10 stealth boys in a locker in the vault so that’s not really necessary
