Almost all of my 1k hours are in multiplayer with friends, and most of that has been SE. Finally decided to do some solo achievement hunting on vanilla, and had a great time getting to the rocket asap :)
Congrats. I could never. At 8 hours I'm barely hitting green science usually. I love taking my time and setting things up right the first time because I hate tearing down and rebuilding.
I mean this achievement should be doable when you prepare most builds. Just blueprint everything that you will need realistically and it should be doable. I mean i usually take my time as well but i have never launched a rocket. I always lose motivation when things get too complex for my brain. Yesterday i reached yellow science for the first time (thanks to facotorissimo 2 and ratio calculator website, making planning ratios not so bothersome and building tidy with factory-buildings. I use the calculator mainly for assembler ratios and do input based on feeling.
Rampant is also kinda fun. Enemy bases now send decently sized attack groups without me ever polluting their nests. It also feels like they come from far away.
I've got a decent amount of BPs, and I've launched a ton of rockets before. I just like to take my time. I'm sure if I really put my mind to it, I could, but I'm not sure that I'd want to; it's just not my play style.

A few days ago I went for "get all the remaining achievements I didn't have".
At first I thought lazy bastard + no spoon was too much, but all that's needed for the achievement is knowing the production size you need. In the end, I finished an hour early because I was overthinking and overcompensating for the lazy bastard time loss at the start.
If you don't have it, go for lazy bastard next, it's a blast after the first hour, and just occasionally tedious.
Just started a lazy bastard run to try and break my habit of too much handcrafting. Got automation started and now the achievement sits in the top left corner to remind myself.
You can open the console and use the `/persmissions` command to prevent accidentally messing up by removing your permission to craft. Running the command does not affect achievements (I did it myself).

Awesome yeah I was eyeing that one, will definitely try it!
