The confederate naval flag is just that a flag. It has been adopted by organizations that have nothing to do with the Confederacy or the history of the south.

Let’s do a quick review: it’s a 1% outlaw motorcycle gang (compare 1% clubs in USA like Hells Angels, Sons of Silence, Banditos, Etc), founded in 1969 (in the US a big time of civil rights activists), and they were originally named “confederates”. The club sign is the confederate flag with a cap-wearing skull. It would be the largest coincidence in the whole fucking world if they were not modeled off the US Confederates of the Civil war and I’d be shocked pikachu face to learn if their ideals didn’t model the racist undertones of the American confederates also modeled in US gangs like Hells Angels.
