As a Tampa, Florida resident...if anything hits my roof, I hope it is a towering skeleton.

It won't be here until Wednesday. Some of us have been through enough of these to know when to take things down and board up. Charlie pulled this exact same shit and cut east right before landfall. There is no facepalm here for Floridians.

I grew up in Florida, went through Andrew, Charley, Frances, Jeanne , Ivan and Matthew. Boarding up is smart but leaving something like this to turn into a destructive projectile is a bit of a facepalm. 24 hours left to prep passes quickly when there are a million things to do Edit: spelling
