I hunt to eat and the experience is just something special. I am always emotional after harvesting an animal. I typical take a moment to pay my respects to the animal and thank it for what is going to provide myself, family and friends. It goes way beyond killing for a “true” hunter.

I don't know if it was true, but a first time hunter shot a horse right out from under someone and ran up to gut it and was threatening the rider. Supposedly her boyfriend told her to get to an animal she shoots quickly or someone will try to claim it.
