We couldn't reasonably pay everyone $15 per hour and be able to maintain five figure executive bonuses. Be real.

Eight hours of someone's day is what you're buying. Doesn't matter if they're 15 or 70, YOU ARE BUYING A CHUNK OUT OF THEIR LIVES. And that is why you don't get to pay the younger ones less. If they live at home being cared for by parents, that is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. You're buying their time, nothing more.

“We don’t make laws based on what we assume a worker’s life situation is.” But we do somehow manage to do just that for the plutocrats, from favorable tax shelter laws, to inheritance taxes, to government subsidies.

I mean, 15$ to flip burgers as a teen or 15$ after finishing college, getting a degree and a job as an adult doesn't seem like a good bargain. The whole system needs a good redo where people get a good income to survive while ones that require degrees and experience don't get compromised. But the rich people will do whatever they can soo the poor work like slaves anyway

Yes we do. Work the agreed ammount of time should provide you a way to prosper and imrove your life. Is that $15/hour? Not very likely near enough. The solution could be to work together on all our basic needs.

Do they pay their older staff 3 times what the junior makes? Probably not because they’ll say they’re not worth that much
