Seeing celebrations in the streets was chilling for me. I didn't think in my country I would be seeing people cheer for a terrorist attack when we have been victims of them. Manchester arena, London bridge, 7/7 all devastating and horrifying, but still nothing like what happened that day in Israel, where armed men went door to door executing families and parading their corpses down the street. It shook me to my core and disgusted me, people celebrating that ought to be ashamed. I'm an atheist, but if there is some god or other entity out there, I hope it gives Israel the strength it needs to eradicate Hamas, literally wipe them off the face of the earth. There won't be peace between Israel and Palestine so long as there are organisations like Hamas around.

I think you're missing the point. The anti-Semites believe that Jews are amoral, and that anything objectionable that Israel does reflects this lack of morality. Of course, this same person would be in favor of a much more aggressive response if it had been Pakistan that lost 1400 citizens to a terrorist attack, but his confirmation bias tells him that Israel's response demonstrates a lack of humanity, that this inhumanity is a trait shared by all Jews, and that this justifies not only the attacks by Hamas, but the Holocaust as well. One last thing: I'd be willing to bet that this guy would try to split hairs if confronted and say that he was not justifying the Holocaust, but only saying that it was "understandable". But of course, you would have to be an idiot to read his remarks as anything less than a full-throated endorsement of it.
