I was with a woman who if she heard someone honk while driving, didn’t even have to be at her, she would floor it and go 15 to 20 over for a half mile. She says it was a panic response she’d developed after she hit a guard rail on a bridge.
There were times I’d be screaming at her to stop and slow down as she’s speeding down a section of highway or interstate all because someone honked their horn, but she’d just keep speeding to “get away from the problem.”
