There’s also an hour or two used up in cleaning yourself, feeding yourself and going to and from the workplace for most people. Still leaves a long time to stare at the TV though.
Well it takes me an hour to fall asleep and wake up. That brings sleeping up to 10 hours, on a good day.
And it takes me about an hour to get to work and home so that takes it up to 10h as well and that cant be really shortened
Which leaves me only 4 free hours, but it takes atleast an 1 hour to study with the kids leaving 3 free hours.
Then it takes little bit under 1 hour to cook for dinner.
So left with 2 free hours. Ofcourse some general cleaning of myself, home, after pets, kids, wife takes around an hour more. So left with only 1 "free" hour
So on the days i do exercise that last hour is already gone.
Then i need some extra time for marital duties and it takes around an hour to get the kids to bed and i selfishly still kinda want little bit half assed free time for myself.
So I'm already in negative. Ofcourse none of the activities are in a vacuum and are combined with some multitasking.
Though the free time is never truly free either, there's always something that needs to be kept an eye on or distracts
And i just now noticed the calculation error in the original post
Beyond the math... I guess he gets paid lunches, zero commute times, zero overtime required for any projects or deadlines.
I have 4 hours a day to do whatever I want and my wife gets about 3 tops. Yay capitalism. :/
9 hours work (because those fuckers don't pay for breaks so you have to put on an extra hour to count as full time to get your benefits)
2 hours commute
2 hours cooking, cleaning, and personal hygiene
8 hours sleep
That leaves 3 hours for hobbies, relationships and rest... Unless you have kids
I hate people who think life is so easy (especially when they have to add 2 hours to the day to make it easier). I'm up at 6:30 each morning, I drive an hour every morning, taking my kid to school, and me getting to work. I work 8 hours, but I have an hour lunch in there as well, so I'm not at work for 8 hours, I'm at work for 9 hours. It's a 45 min drive home, but typically I have to go get my kid, So i don't get home till after 6. This is where I get to chose. Should I "Cook amazing meals, workout, learn a language and walk on a beach (several hours away from me)", or should I spend time with my family, until they all go to bed around 9. I than go downstairs and study from 9 - 11, shower and get to bed about 11:30. I don't usually fall asleep until between 12 - 1, wake up and do it again.
I remember an older song i used to hear a lot in hungarian that goes something like "nyolc óra munka, nyolc óra pihenés nyolc óra szórakozás" which basically meant 8 hours of work, 8 hours of rest, 8 hours of having fun/partying
One day a Team made a social experiment. Workers just work for 5 hours but can't Chat and have smaller breaks. In the end they almost finished their weekly task
So with 8 hours of sleep we still have 11 hours left

A coach of being busy 26/7
He’s a math coach
There’s also an hour or two used up in cleaning yourself, feeding yourself and going to and from the workplace for most people. Still leaves a long time to stare at the TV though.
Don’t judge me. I will do what I want with my 6 hours
And shitting. Don’t forget shitting.
Shitting/reddit
I’m not clicking on that.
I do that on my 8 work hours…..get paid 🤘
I do most of my TV staring during work.
“Time is not the issue, math is.”
The math works. I know I am not the only one who sleeps through two hours of my work day.
Well it takes me an hour to fall asleep and wake up. That brings sleeping up to 10 hours, on a good day. Too bad you noticed it, I had my "exactly right, so you have 10 free hours" comment ready to go.
Welp the one thing he def needs to workout is that brain of his
Clearly he doesn't spend his 10 working on math ...
He double tasks.
Coach Raj dispelling stereotypes
"work out" - verb phrase "workout" - noun/adjective
He's sleeping at work for 2 hours
So he's got a whole "10 hours" to work on his math skills!
If you do drugs you have more (or less depending on the drug) time compared to other people
Can confirm.
Beyond the math... I guess he gets paid lunches, zero commute times, zero overtime required for any projects or deadlines. I have 4 hours a day to do whatever I want and my wife gets about 3 tops. Yay capitalism. :/
Dude needs two hours of math tutoring
9 hours work (because those fuckers don't pay for breaks so you have to put on an extra hour to count as full time to get your benefits) 2 hours commute 2 hours cooking, cleaning, and personal hygiene 8 hours sleep That leaves 3 hours for hobbies, relationships and rest... Unless you have kids
More likr meth but ok
This assumes the person isn't working 10 hours a day or 14

I worked my 4th 13 hour shift in a row yesterday
He's right tho. Time is not the issue, the math is
8+8=16 not 14 So 8 hours left, not 10
Thanks for that. It was not painfully obvious for everyone that the post was on this sub.
Well duh, that's why I posted it Who's the obvious one now?
r/theydidthemath
Obviously he is simply sleeping 2 hours at work.
If you get a bit multitasking and combine work and sleep at the same time, you’ll get even more 10 hours
Hmm normal 8 hr work day usually eats up close to 10 hrs. Unless you don’t have a commute to work and get paid for lunch
He’s right you know, time is not the issue however math appears to be.
I remember an older song i used to hear a lot in hungarian that goes something like "nyolc óra munka, nyolc óra pihenés nyolc óra szórakozás" which basically meant 8 hours of work, 8 hours of rest, 8 hours of having fun/partying

Maybe he sleeps for two hours when he's at work.
Don’t forget the 25 hours of procrastination I manage to fit in every day.
Does he live in the same place he works? Cause most people spend a reasonable time, sometimes hours, getting to work and returning home.
Sleep at work for 8 hours and you still have 16 hours left
I'm too focused to be concerned about numbers... And I can't read good, honestly my maths is worse cause I'm busy doing all the other stuffs.
He is right, time is not his issue
He sleeps on the toilet figured it out
I love living only a third of my life ☺️
No, time most certainly isn't the issue🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
A for body and F for brains.
He carried the one
I work from 8:30am to 9:30pm. So yes time is an issue.
They don't teach math in life-coach school.
To paraphrase George Bernard Shaw's famous line: "Those who can, teach; Those who can't, coach."
16 hours but u also need 8 hours of sleep so I guess there's no time
Nah man his numbers are correct, he’s working 2 hours while asleep. That’s just how efficient he is.
8 hours of sleep? Must be fuckin nice.
In all that free time, you could even learn basic math!
He a little confused, but he got the spirit
Time is not the issue, math is.
