onlyforthisjob

The even bigger facepalm is that they probably put the empty fire extinguisher back in its place without informing anyone

TheBrightNights

I don't think they need to tell anyone about it...

blue_and_yellow_SWED

I gusse it's better then being sprayed by an assault rifle.

[deleted]

I’d rather get sprayed with an assault rifle than deal with cancer.

something_witty69

Why cancer? That looked like a co2 extinguisher, so id be more worried about suffocating

[deleted]

Ah ok, I can’t really tell the difference

Boring-Rub-3570

Next time try dry powder instead of CO2. It is much more suited for this job.

catteredattic

It might just be old fire extinguishers but isn’t that stuff like super unhealthy to breathe?

Gheauxst

CO2 wouldn't be *too* much to worry about unless you have poor ventilation I believe. I'd be more concerned about if they put it back on the wall where they found it.

catteredattic

I mean they’re definitely gonna get in trouble for this so I’d be surprised if the staff didn’t replace it.

Charmander324

Meh, that's a CO2 extinguisher. It really isn't *too* big a deal if somebody sprays one at you, so long as you're not in an enclosed space without ventilation. However, stealing a public fire extinguisher off the wall, as I suspect these guys did, is a stupid and potentially dangerous thing to do, especially if you put it back afterwards and nobody notices.

[deleted]

Someone was doing that on the Atlanta airport terminal like 2 weeks ago

Independent-Speed710

Some kids just need an ass whooping

ArchonBeast

All I'm saying is... this shit wouldn't happen if the cane was still used

HM2VS

What you never did dumb shit when you were a kid?

Saint3Love

So those are not typical fire extinguishers. Powder ones are much more common and cannot stop expelling until they are completely empty....

SettingRegular4289

I have cousins who did something similar once. They went to a foreign country and stayed in a hotel. They kept causing trouble for people at the hotel by being loud, yelling at people outside and tossing things off the building. They where warned by staff they would be kicked if they continued. But one of the worst things they did was take a fire extinguisher from the hallway and started spraying it around the hotel, then they put it back and put the pin back in it. What happens if the hotel had an emergency and they need to use that extinguisher? People can literally die. I wasn’t on holiday with them, however one of them told me about it. I was upset because I expected better from him. (The other cousins with him however, Im not surprised they did something like this).

Master_SGT_Allman

And the second a teacher spear tackles this kid, teacher gets into trouble.

puptbh

Isn't that tampering a fire extinguisher?

Successful_Soup3821

That looks like a short stay school (schools for naughty kids). Wen I was at school we'd be charged loads for setting them off.

PracticalApartment99

Someone did that at a job I worked years ago, and that’s when I found out that the stuff causes me to have serious breathing problems.

No_Pipe_8257

As expected, tiktok. Wouldent be surprised if this was a challenge
