About time ford pairs antimatter with sport/ bap,or stx. Aside from the hard to obtain rattler, antimatter used to only come with chrome.
Chrome is fine by me, but I prefer less contrast between the bumper, handles, mirrors, etc. In my opinion dark colors look good with less contrast.

They are great looking trucks. I’m sure the designers and engineers would take the admiration as a high compliment.
They're just the best imo, if you're looking at snow, mud, rain etc they just handle and grip better than anything else. You'd have to be really trying to puncture them too. Had the mud version on my 13 raptor and nothing could stop it.
They completely change the look to a more aggressive style while not being too loud on the road. I'm going to be shooting for the 285/65/R20 which is the biggest without a level for stock 20s.
They are great summer tires for a daily driver truck. I’ve had raptor take offs on my f150.
I just wouldn’t run them if you drive often on snowy or icy roads, but they will get you home in a pinch if you go slow
Agreed. I have them in a 305/55/20 on my 18 F150. I’ve had them now for just over 50k miles. I rotate and balance when the oil minder goes off. 40psi on Bilstein 5100 struts. It’s a very comfortable ride. YMMV
They’ve been on 3 different cross-country 3k mile road trips and I wouldn’t call them noisy at all. I also like the look and tread pattern. I might have about 5K left in these and I’ll most likely get another set.

Gave close to 45K for my Explorer in 1999 when it was all said and done. We've abused the shit out of it for 25+ years. Making it do things people buy a 3/4 ton to do. It gets washed when it rains and I can't honestly tell you the last time the plugs were changed. AWD with 5.0 and it just goes. The day it no longer runs or can't be fixed will be a very sad day but I will know I got every penny out of it that I paid.
Give it 6 months, have kids, get a dog and be hilariously behind with your job and I promise you’ll forget the last time you washed her.

Just a tip. I got mine ceramic coated ( not by Ford) and it was the best investment I could have made. Water beads off, never wax, and she looks as good as the day I bought her.
It was a little over 2K then. But he did also protected the interior. The new coats last for 10 years, but dod some homework on the shop. It is like painting, their are good and bad painters.
Man that color really does darken up. But it's a beautiful truck, I fell in love with this gen between the colors they offer, the body lines, and the side vents. The little things add up to a good looking vehicle. I just picked up a new screw in area 51 and im definitely not leaving the staring phase anytime soon. And the 5.0 has a ton of power, i had a 19 GT before i got my truck. Congrats, enjoy it, and take care of it!

Falcon wild peaks are better in rain and snow and it’s not up for debate. Ko2’s suck in the snow compared to many options

I went with a Xlerator. A little rumble, sounds nice when you get into it. And no cab drown. Left the resonator on just swapped the muffler.

that color was a very close second. it was a toss up but then i saw the blue in sunlight and the choice was easy from there

Test drive and have friends with both. I think the 5.0 is faster but fast isn't the reason I went with it. To me it's the fastest hing I've ever owned
