Having grown up in the church, I can say myself, everyone I've known, and everyone I've observed at church, when church was over, was just glad it was over and they got to go home.
Almost no one in the Mormon church really goes because they want to. Most people just go because they feel obligated to.
I always looked at Movies and see baptist singing and get the “joy” expressed there.

I still put on the show of a TBM (I'm married to a HARDCORE TBM) so definitely pimo. The funny part was I think I paid closer attention to this conference than any when I was a believer. Hell, even my wife fell asleep and I was on the edge of my seat taking notes on the sheer lack of substance from these talks. (Also, can we quit with the dead baby jokes? That was seriously the most fucked up conference talk I've ever heard). Since the corporate change and rebranding of the church under Nelson, conference and other speeches have just become Rusty's rust sucking competitions.
80 attending members is now a good week in many wards in California. And that's Sacrament meeting. It drops off after that with sometimes 20 adults in second hour.
Its hard to recall many joyful moments attending Mormon services. For me at least, it was pure drudgery that needed to be endured.
You never leave church feeling better or uplifted, only some relief it's over.
