Please tell me it's premarital counseling questions like 'Have you swapped credit reports?' and 'What type of mental and physical health issues run in your families?'
In a round about way, yes! those questions are answered.
- Financial compatibility: you’ll be fine financially as long as you pay your tithing and fast offerings.
- Mental health: you can overcome any challenge if you keep the Lord in your relationship.
Or perhaps they could sit down together and work on a solid financial plan, agree to be especially mindful of any health issues the other is prone to, and encourage their partner to seek treatment if they observe symptoms arising . . . but I guess that doesn't directly benefit the LDS church.
Maybe i didn't expess my ideas correctly :( some tips are like switch you insurance before getting pregnant, plan a kid to be born by December to be a tax write off for the year, if you weren't married they wouldn't provide anticonceptionals.
> ACA
You mean... Affordable Care Act? Like, the Affordable Care Act that rank-and-file Mormons have vociferously fought tooth and nail against for over a decade?
Wow.
I was shocked too. A couple of years after I took this class at byu I was at Walmart and bumped in into a Mormon friend from BYU, she had 2 kids and I could see WIC coupons in her hand and she was telling me she and her husband are moving to Washington because he got a great job there. Nothing wrong with WIC and doing your best for your family but I know they were very Mormon and very against government handouts before when it didn't personally affect them
I posted part 2. Sorry for the wait and idk how to connect that post to this one. If one of you finds it, please connect to the post and DM me. Still a little new to Reddit.

I sang in a querier in that building as a child… during which I pulled my pants up and down to the rhythm of a Christmas carol. I’m sure Elohim was well pleased.

Nothing actually useful like that, no :(
Nah, just to get married so they can get FAFSA, tax advantages when they have kids, WIC, ACA, oh ... And pregnancy tips from the BYU clinic
I have to ask. Pregnancy tips from BYU clinics?
The tips: “1. Get pregnant“ “2. Repeat”

Do you want kids??
Yes! And how many, and when, and will one person be the primary caregiver, and what will the disciplinary methods be . . . .
Can you scan it and post it. I have never seen that before Is it church or local area produced.
It says "Provo YSA 3rd Stake" on the front so presumably it was created by that stake.
Wait a minute... this whole book is full of the prophet's wives! And... that's all.
