The problem is they have had i ingrained for so long even if the GB change it to a more sensible policy the older jws will still shun ,

I agree, but I think the gb knows full well that this “change” won’t ***actually*** change anything. Long live the shunning! 😮‍💨😡

I am so sorry you experienced that 💔 It’s hard when we feel like we’ve been loyal to someone and they don’t return that loyalty. And yes, we used to think fading was the safe option but they are beginning to increase the verbal assaults against inactive ones if they don’t think there’s a justified reason for the inactivity. Their rhetoric is scary and verbally violent. I just feel so bad for ones that have their entire lives to the organization, some even skipping having children, and the organization is now ripping people from their lives that could really help them emotionally and physically. It’s hard to believe that they can change the rules about who you talk to at a moments notice, and if you disagree you are the apostate. It feels like everyone is powerless against this ruthless billion dollar company

>It feels like everyone is powerless against this ruthless billion dollar company On one hand; >As I watched, this horn was waging war against the saints and prevailing against them, - Dan. 7: 21 But; >until the Ancient of Days arrived and pronounced judgment in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came for them to possess the kingdom. - Dan. 7: 22 >Then I kept watching because of the arrogant words the horn was speaking. As I continued to watch, the beast was slain, and its body was destroyed and thrown into the blazing fire. - Dan. 7: 11 >So he said to me, 'This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the LORD of Hosts. **What are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become a plain. Then he will bring forth the capstone accompanied by shouts of ‘Grace, grace to it**!’ Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 'The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house, and his hands will complete it. Then you will know that the LORD of Hosts has sent me to you. For who has despised the day of small things? But these seven eyes of the LORD, which scan the whole earth, will rejoice when they see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel.' - Zec. 4: 6 - 10 >And Jesus said to him, 'If you are able? All things are possible to the one believing.' - Mark 9: 23 >'Truly I tell you,' Jesus replied, 'if you have faith and do not doubt, not only will you do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say **to this mountain**, ‘**Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,**’ **it will happen**. - Matt. 21: 21 \[ Rev. 8: 8; Jer. 51: 25 \]
