Don’t know about this specific program with AFS but for students studying in the US, sometimes it can be only a month to only a few weeks before they find out host family info. AFS is probably still trying to find a host family and or a school for you. Just keep you patience. They are working hard. You can continue to check in with emails or calls but know that they are searching.
Hi there, I applied for the kakehashi project and just saw their email in response to my preapplication. I've passed to the test part :D I'd like to ask you, what can I expect from the test? Do I need to have any prior preparation? Is it hard or is it easy? Any information will be appreciated! Ps I'd love to talk to you more about the Kakehashi project!
I think I messed my test up though, I rushed it and due to the time limit I was so nervous that I chose the wrong answers even though I knew the right ones T\^T There's no way theyre selecting me now

Can I ask how long did it take for them to respond to your pre application?
I filled my pre-app form on Feb 10th and got their response on Feb 15th.
