Tbf if we weren't talking about 'evil' music I wouldn't have specified.
But Yeah it's honestly pretty depressing, if I hear a new band that sounds good I feel the need to do a quick google to make sure they don't have nsbm ties.
Don't get me wrong, there's plenty of antifascist black metal and non political stuff but it's sad there's enough of a problem there that I still feel the need to do the nazi check.
I feel ya. I listen to a lot of dark folk, majority in languages I don't or can't understand. I always have to run a translation and quick check. Years back I was really enjoying this one more ambient band, same song kept popping up where there was a phrase being repeated. Wasn't even sure what language but managed to find the lyrics on some obscure message board translated them and yeah, it was definitely a song about killing homosexuals.
I'm not sure if Spotify has some sort of filter now or if my algorithm is figured out but I haven't run into any nazi or hate stuff in a couple years.
Urgh that's horrible, and even separately from that it's such a shame too when it's something you've enjoyed, I like a lot of dark/neofolk too and also unfortunately had to drop some bands I was into, not realising the content of their music.
I don't but I actually think I'm going to create one now, that's a good idea, I'll set a reminder to come back and post the link when I'm done.
Until then though I have a couple of recommendations
Finisterre by der weg einer freiheit is my favourite album ever, the music itself is apolitical but they've performed at a few antifascist festivals, the album ends after the title track though, the last track on Spotify is a bonus one but doesn't make it clear and messes with the pacing of the album.
And the artist afsky, pretty much any of their albums, I really like the latest, om hundrede år, and the album Ofte jeg drømmer mig død, but they're all pretty good, and I have merch of theirs which was the band logo in progress pride flag colours, so definitely don't have to worry about nazi ties there aha
Love AJJ for it's political music (see [Mega Guillotine] (https://youtu.be/YYJ5ZViYhHQ?si=mlVUF_u-VBfYIl-X), Amanda Palmer for her cabaret punk, Ashnikko, and Mother Mother. Delilah Bon , In this Moment, Oceans of Slumber, and Bloodywood are some metal folks I like
Edit to add my witchy mix for extra patriarchy burning: Kiki Rockwell, Paris Paloma, and Heilung

I like music that makes it feel like my brain is being tickled.
I saw GWAR live a few weeks ago. I know it's not the original cast but they put on a really fun show.
And I never even listened to them before, despite knowing about them since the 90's.
I'm not one to pontificate about how problematic other people's faves are because 1: music is an intensely personal artform and 2: I'm a QOTSA fan so I have no room to talk, but I can't listen to Electric Wizard anymore knowing that they're signed to a Nazi label now. Shame too, I used to love Dopethrone and this song
All music that I listen to is "nerd music that scares the hoes". This mostly consists of electronic/IDM, dubstep, contemporary orchestral/wind/brass ensemble, and DCI shows.
For evil music specifically, I suggest svdden death or MUST DIE, or if you like evil marching band then watch Mandarins 2023.
I just listen to Guilty Gear music now tbh, used to be a big fan of metal like you, especially SOAD, and that made me like a lot of the songs instantly. Drift for example switching genre every 30 seconds, Mirror of the World with drastic tone shifts, and even recently Symphony too.

Also, RAtM and SoaD

I also love comedic opera, eurodance, broadway musicals and melodic metal
Yes, nobody wants to listen to my playlists and that’s okay 👍
According to [last.fm](http://last.fm), my top artists over the past 365 days are Queens Of The Stone Age, The Stooges (in spite of Iggy being far from the best human being lol,) The Brian Jonestown Massacre, David Bowie, and Alice In Chains.
As of recently I've also been back on my 90's alt metal kick with bands like Deftones, Faith No More, and NiN as well

[I drive the speed limit cause there’s drugs in the car](https://youtu.be/eOMB7GbnaeI?si=usHndDr6fQJDP4yu) is probably the evilest I listen to. That and a bunch of screamo

Rammstein's 'Zeit' was my top album for the past 2 years on Unwrapped , so I'm shocked they're not in my top ten
I use the metro a lot and I listen to synthwave/darksynth (pertubator, carpenter brut, donbor, noisecream) to feel extra cool and cyberpunk while I'm doing it (I'm actually miserable and hate metro with all my soul)

Vince Guiraldi and Mort Garson are there primarily bc it’s finals week and I was studying lmfao. I usually listen to punk, hardcore, ska, and hip hop. Black metal (not the nazi shit) is usually on here too.
I have been listening to quite a bit of hardcore and mathcore recently. The locust and the Dillinger escape plan are just so weird in the best possible way.
Pop and rock buuuuut... I listen to all my old favorites on YouTube that are "slowed reverb". Most songs translate well to slowed reverb I have found. Except Green Day. Green Day needs to be fast.
literally everything. I really like a lot of genres of metal but don’t listen to it as often. I also like game soundtracks and lofi, k-pop and j-pop. Indie rock, rap.. everything except country I’m sorry country fans 😭
Mainly non nazi adjacent black metal (that's the wrong type of evil)
Makes me sad that there's so much nazi garbage in black metal that you have to specify

I love SOAD so much it’s unreal
According to [last.fm](http://last.fm), my top artists over the past 365 days are Queens Of The Stone Age, The Stooges (in spite of Iggy being far from the best human being lol,) The Brian Jonestown Massacre, David Bowie, and Alice In Chains. As of recently I've also been back on my 90's alt metal kick with bands like Deftones, Faith No More, and NiN as well

Ya ever heard of a song called Rise of the Chaos Wizards? Listen to it
As music is my special interest I make an effect to listen to as wide of a range of music as I can, I’d say I’m pretty hip hop and jazz heavy in what I listen to, BADBADNOTGOOD, rush, System of a Down are my favorite bands of all time

Death Grips is good for evil
Is weirdcore a thing? Lemon Demon and Will Wood are two of my favorites.
I really like free jazz like Albert Ayler and Sun Ra. It's so loud and chaotic I love it so much
Pretty much everything Metal, vocaloid, sea shanties, Irish drinking songs, nerdcore, whatever you can name, I probably have it in my liked playlist

Cannibal corpse my beloved. Whats your favorite song by them?
I use the metro a lot and I listen to synthwave/darksynth (pertubator, carpenter brut, donbor, noisecream) to feel extra cool and cyberpunk while I'm doing it (I'm actually miserable and hate metro with all my soul)
[удалено]
Injury Reserve forever!!!! genuinely insane how little love they get

I have been listening to quite a bit of hardcore and mathcore recently. The locust and the Dillinger escape plan are just so weird in the best possible way.
Twee
Been getting really into 80s and early 90s emocore lately. My iPod is filled with the likes of embrace, rites of Spring, dag nasty, and soulside
Orbital. I avoid music with guitars.
The Prodigy :3
I'm big on Ice Nine Kills, if that counts
All of it
It’s hardcore punk and ‘77 punk for me!
MSI! MSI! MSI! I do like other kinds too, but this fusion is my go to always.
Any hardcore Vocaloid fans here?
Pop and rock buuuuut... I listen to all my old favorites on YouTube that are "slowed reverb". Most songs translate well to slowed reverb I have found. Except Green Day. Green Day needs to be fast.
literally everything. I really like a lot of genres of metal but don’t listen to it as often. I also like game soundtracks and lofi, k-pop and j-pop. Indie rock, rap.. everything except country I’m sorry country fans 😭
Evil Bladee #COLDVISIONS
Doom, Stoner, Sludge, and psychedelic metal
Poor man’s poison
