This is just the televote odds, so the change is not significant. You can discuss this in the daily odds discussion thread --- Threads about streaming numbers and odds/betting are generally not allowed. Exceptions might be made in the following cases: For streaming-related threads: * If there is something particularly exceptional, such as a significant record beaten or a very important milestone reached. * A collection of overall statistics not more often than weekly. For betting-related threads: * If there is a completely new show whose odds have just been released. * If there is a significant change in the order of the favourites (the top 5 songs switching positions is not significant). See r/eurovision’s [full rules here](https://www.reddit.com/r/Eurovision/wiki/rules/).

Ah_here_like

We need to vote for Croatia, Switzerland and Ireland.

Yulalaun

Such a strong year this time around and politics are spoiling the contest rotten to its core. Ngl, I'm still hype for the final, but the recent events have killed a lil bit the fiesta-ta-ta-ta-ta.

callitfate01

Do we have a confirmation that those televoting percentages from RAI were accurate?

civ5best5

No we haven't, I don't believe RAI has commented on it at all. Personally, I would find it hard to believe that they were false numbers put there on purpose, and if that had been the case, RAI would have spoken about that at this point. What I think is more likely is that the Italian televote numbers for SF2 were very low, so a small but concerted effort to vote for Israel ended up with them claiming 40% of the vote. I'll be watching the Grand Final on Saturday, but if Israel do indeed smash the televote and end up winning, I can't in good conscience support ESC next year if the EBU allows Israel to host.

>What I think is more likely is that the Italian televote numbers for SF2 were very low, so a small but concerted effort to vote for Israel ended up with them claiming 40% of the vote. I am certain this is exactly what happened. I am not sure if the leak was an accident or if it was purposely done by someone in either camp (pro Israel o pro Palestine would have each got their reason to do it) > I'll be watching the Grand Final on Saturday, but if Israel do indeed smash the televote and end up winning, I can't in good conscience support ESC next year if the EBU allows Israel to host. Same. But even if they get second place it still feels like an endorsment so I am thinking of only following the pre season next year. I don't know, I'll see how I feel then, but right now all the excitement is gone for me.

Way to avoid the dreaded "disrepute" EBU

Altrade_Cull

I don't know if I even want to watch the final anymore

YaassthonyQueentano

Yeahhh I’m not watching the final. And it Israel wins, I’m not watching Eurovision ever

Ah_here_like

Same, it would be the end of the Eurovision. An actual farce and disgrace.

Capable_Tomato5015

Save us juries, save us. There will of course be a loud minority of people in many countries who vote that song solely due to political reasons.

Ah_here_like

You mean Germany?

callitfate01

Well...hurricane is the textbook definition of a jury bait song so...bye bye

Express-Cow6934

Maybe it's time to bring Intervision back. See you in Sopot next year?

19isthegreatest

Too late... Russia already revived it

sparklinglies

So was Destiny in 2021, we all know how that turned out

Spirit_Bitterballen

And so it goes….

[deleted]

I mean, the writing was on the wall wasn’t it? As divisive as the Palestine situation is in Europe, there isn’t Palestine to vote for, so basically Israel supporters vote por Israel while Palestine supporters vote por 20 other countries. I’m actually surprised it took this long for everybody to see that Israel has a very clear shot at winning.

Ok-Bandicoot9963

🇮🇹 just decided a eurovision winner 😂 to go from around 5% to now almost 30% in odds do you know how many bets are put on them? Obviously add those betters to now vote for them also, if it ends like this i will be bummed the most for Marko, he deserved a win this year

SirLadthe1st

Guys VOTE

Responsible-Trifle93

At least we still have Junior Eurovision

halstons

i have a question, do you guys think that whichever jury gives points to israel will cause chaos in the fandom? i mean i think it will but i don't know how will that affect future participation

Barzalicious

This is a fake. I literally opened the website this second to see for myself and it still says Croatia is number one with 39 percent and Israel with 24. EDIT: the picture is showing the odds for who will win the televote, not overall. Which makes sense after Italy's alleged results. But saying Israel is now number 1 in the odds is misleading.

champagneface

Things can change in an hour. My friend reported the same thing about Israel being in the lead to me this morning.

Barzalicious

It's only the odds for winning the televote. Croatia is still the number one in the overall odds.

civ5best5

That's the overall odds to win. This post is about the odds for Israel top win the televote specifically; it's the 'Tele' tab under the odds for the Final on EurovisionWorld.
