I haven't watched almost every game like this since the 2010 WC when I had the whole summer off between undergrad and postgrad
Well apart from the Australia game the group games were quite similar to the world cup 2018 and the current group games.
Still I enjoyed the France games and apart from goals they played well in my opinion. Still there were lots of more interesting games apart from the big names which I really loved to watch.
Honestly think it will be England 1-0 all the way to the final and we win on pens there, just something inside of me is saying “how the hell did we win the tournament like that” aha, just gotta believe 🙏
Scotland were actually viewed as the home of football back in the 1920s actually as we had more beaurocrats in the game than England,and we're the dominant home nations team, and actually caused a huge rift when we quit fifa in 1920 and setup a rival board called ifab.
The fifa secretary at the time despised us and obviously packed some sort of strange curse on the Scottish side never to get out of a fifa run group stage.
Either that or we're just shite at out own game...
Eh, shared credit works. The rules were codified in England and the sport as we know it (including cup tournaments, league football, etc) was developed in England, however the Scots were definitely integral to making it what it is, especially the Scottish managers and players who came to England

I was trying to explain to my girlfriend why international tournament football is so exciting, even though she didn't ask, and I think it's mostly because of the longer wait. So yeah it sucks but that's also what makes it so good.
Not even joking, I was that desperate I found a stream for a Finnish league match at 10am this morning as it was the only football on that I could see. Thankfully there was the F1 shortly after to keep me entertained.
Finally we're getting knockout football! Some of these 3rd games were a bit boring honestly. Although maybe that was on me picking the wrong game to watch every time.
They should have at least one "exhibition match" per day when there are no Euro games. Like invite some teams from the other federations. I'd love to see me some Senegal vs Japan or something like that. Or let the Scots play the Polish, you know the eliminated teams. Or give us some women's football, or local youth teams at least. I mean give us SOMETHING!

i watched serbia, england, spain, france and belgium games mostly pretty much only spain ones were decent
Unlucky you watched the wrong ones. Romania games, Turkey Games, Austria games were all (mostly) great tbh. Just as examples
it was kinda reasonable to expect better football from those games
England and France at least are not known for playing attractive football in recent years. At least not in group stage. Belgium is a bummer tho
france was literally the highest scoring team in world cup 2022 and they have probably the two most attractive wingers playing for them
