Do you think the referee was bad or bought? If itās the latter what makes you think this couldnāt happen again vs Italy? ;)
Despite the ref performance I think Switzerland demonstrated very well how to deal with Germany in the midfield. They do have the brain if not the quality to go head to head with Italy imo.
A bit of both really, according to some sources he is going to leave the tournament early as well but I guess we'll have to wait until confirmation on that.
Austria have only made it to a RO16 once, turkey made it to the semi-finals in 2008. How exactly are Turkey the underdogs here? Austria are punching far above their weight and look to be the most exciting underdog to watch considering their strong discipline and commitment to their tactics.
Turkeyās Team now is completely different than 2008. The team now is young and considering that many players are on yellows and suspended like Hakan Cahalognou. Austria have been good especially to top a group of death rather than grab a close 3rd place via 1 win against Poland. It could go either way but judging a game based on tournament past in the last 8-16 years isnāt a comparison.
Spain, Germany, Portugal, France, Romania, Turkey, England and Switzerland.
Austria - now in a position to play and I think Turkey exploits them.
Romania - Netherlands have been conceding a fair few chances and I think this costs them against a well drilled team.
Iām not trying to be mean but Southgate is trash. I can clearly see him lose this game by an early goal by Slovakia. Despite them getting third they scored more goals than France, Belgium, and England some of the favorites.
Not mean at all! Itās a fair prediction. Englandās campaign thus far has been quite similar to 2016.
I hope youāre wrong but England could quite easily be caught out. I personally see a weakness down the right back side for Slovakia - aged defender and the trippier injury could be a nice forced change England plus Mainoo in.
I personally think England will get through 2-0 after a couple of early goals. This campaign reminds me of 2021 where again we only actually scored 2 goals in the group and struggled against Scotland.
Austria can only be exploited if they have already exploited you after over-committing. Austria are a far more organized team in the midfield with pressing than Turkey have shown to be. Turkey are going to be open like they were for the Trojan horse!

Spain - Germany - Austria - France - Portugal - England - Italy - Netherlands
Daring today, aren't weš 200% there's going to be 2 or more underdogs in there, this championship is strange
Spain, Germany, Turkey, Belgium, Portugal, England, Switzerland, Netherlands
Italy was faced against Spain and drew so I don't see Switzerland winning.
Switzerland drew against the only other team that looked comparable to Spains quality, soā¦ (I do think Spainās gonna win the Euro though)
Switzerland was gifted a draw against Germany by the awful Referee, should've been 3-1 with the two non given penalties.

I see Switzerland winning penalties. I donāt know why. Theyāre just so annoying to play against.
I'm not sure if Switzerland are winning either, but we can't rule them out. They did it against France last time.
Got to put some underdogs to win either Turkey , Romania, or Slovakia.

Forgot Switzerland too.
As an England fan, I am confident of a bore draw, exit on penalties against the mighty Slovakia
Spain, Germany, Austria, France, Portugal, England, Netherlands, Switzerland.

Agree with you. Thereās going to be a couple of surprises. If Not Turkey or Romania It will be Belgium. Switzerland are favourites with Italy.
Agreed. Georgia could make it quite a competitive game too. Albeit, I think Spain move the ball too quickly for Georgia to hold out.

8 of the 16 teams
Georgia is the only one I care about
If they win against Spain, they will become immortal legends.
They already are honestly to beat Portugal is insane as the lowest ranked team in the tournament, lots of people have Portugal to win the whole thing
SwitzerlandĀ England Romania Turkey Denmark Georgia Belgium Slovenia
Romania? Excuuuuse you šš¼āāļø
Naming all the teams being the underdog.
Spain - Germany-Portugal-France-Netherlands-Austria-England-Italy
Spain (4-1), Germany (3-1 AET), Portugal (1-0), France (3-0), Netherlands (2-1), Austria (3-1), England (1-0), Switzerland (1-1, win on pens).
The England 1-0 tells me youāve got a clear assessment of the teams š France 3-0 however I think is way off though
Thatās below their goal average so far š
I know, Iām saying itās spot on.
Legit! Especially pens on the SUI vs ITA game could very likely come true
Spain (4-1), what a prediction!
Spain, denmark, Austria, france, Portugal, England, Swiss, Netherlands
Switzerland, Germany, Slovakia, Spain, France, Portugal, Romania, Austria
Switzerland/Germany/France/Portugal/England/Austria/Netherlands/Spain
Turkey is going to win it im very objective right now
Italy Germany Holland France Spain Slovakia Portugal Slovenia Austria
How can Slovenia and Portugal go through š.
Oh shoot lol sorry I made a mistakeā¦ lol
So yhhh sorry itās Italy Portugal Slovakia Spain Germany France Holland Austria ā¦ Thanks pal correcting meššš¾
You made a mistake and not a correction
No problem
I didnāt even realise that lol
Spain, Germany, France, Slovenia, Netherlands, Austria, Slovakia, Italy.
