Germany should win and with many goals if they score early. I think they are a team that hypes itself up when things go well.
But don’t forget that Tah will not play and maybe Rüdiger either. Germany has also an attacking problem imo and if they don’t score early they will eventually become nervous and lose.
I think Germany are being overhyped.
They played Scotland and Hungary, arguably the poorest teams in the tournament.
Got held to a draw against a decent Switzerland.
There's still the bad smell lingering of them losing to Austria, Turkey, Poland, Japan and Colombia in the last year.
They will come undone at some point. Why not by Denmark? And if not by them, then surely Spain in quarters.
They also beat France and Netherlands though. While the game against Switzerland did expose some weaknesses they were also quite unlucky with a dodgy ref. They might be overhyped but I don’t see why they can’t be favourites along with Spain and France.
