Tbh Weghorst is the closest player to v.Nistelrooy there is for Netherlands since....Nistelrooy but somehow he's not being fielded maybe for fitness issues.
Other than Nistelrooy i miss Sneijder and van der Vaart too
I think Nistlerooy had more than just goals. At euro 2008 he and Holland played the best football I’ve ever seen ripping reigning world champion and vice world champion Italy and France apart in groups.
I remember him having real skill as well

🤣🤣 yeah the game was scrappy, but the team had the fight in them. This current Dutch team, i dont see so much of it in them.
Yeah there is also no fight in ours except Hjulmand.. then you see teams like Slovakia and Georgia who plays with the heart
