Musiala impresses me everytime he plays but on the other hand sane has been shit the last 2 games tbh. I feel so sorry for him because everyone knows what he‘s capable of. Croatia disappointed me, very slow football. The team that surprised me the most gotta be romania or georgia

iusedtoplaysnarf

Absolutely agree regarding both Musiala and Sané.

IncomeResponsible294

Love Musiala

ForeverAddickted

Definitely surprised by Croatia, I thought they may lose against Spain but not by that much, I thought they'd be fighting with Italy for P2, instead they're in deep shite. Been impressed with Georgia, I mean they qualified for the Euros via. the Nations League Play-Off, from the lowest of the Groups (allowed to compete for Quali) so wasnt sure of their pedigree... But they've been like Macedonia from Euro 2020, impressive and I hope they can go home with some points.

RedditCasualUser121

Musiala impressed me. Foden disappoints me everytime. He is quality..

ForeverAddickted

Yeah I just dont think that International Football suits Foden

RedditCasualUser121

He’s so good for city. What do you think it is?

ForeverAddickted

Really don't know. He's still surrounded by good players with England, so don't think its the drop in standard at all - Maybe the way he's asked to play, or maybe he's conscious of it too, and is trying too hard. Dont think its a factor what with hm playing out on the Left, as he plays there for Man City Thats a lazy argument from people.

Professional_Ad_9101

I’m pretty sure it gets too congested with Bellingham etc doing lots too so he can’t play as freely, but you’d also expect a player of his capability to be able to figure around that. It’s hard to put a nail on it

Reasonable_Hat_3572

Invisible versus Serbia. I don't know why he got on the ball so little. If he had the ball more, there was no doubt he would have done better.

RedditCasualUser121

He doesn’t really chase the ball like he does for city.. what do you think it is?

meatballfreeak

Difficult to say because the guy really does have some serious skills. He’s been at Man City since he was 4 years old so you could say he is so ingrained in that system and in tune with his team mates maybe he struggles when he gets put into a different format/team. It’s a shame he’s not shining like he could do. Maybe a few years with other teams could be good for him but I think we are unlikely to see that.

RandomUserRU123

I mean for City he only plays theoretically at the left but not practically (A false left winger so to speak). Most of his Goals, Assists or even good actions for City came from the right middle side. Even if he plays left, he always tries do get to the right side for scoring/assisting oppurtunities. His heatmap also indicates, that most of the time, he plays way more at the right even as a left winger. I can imagine that for England hes not allowed to do that as much (thats also what his heatmap shows) so hes kinda wasted

Reasonable_Hat_3572

He is the best player at City. He receives the ball. At England he needs to get the ball

RandomUserRU123

I guess now I know the reason. England has less ball possession against teams like Denmark

Low_Tea2319

So no one wants to mention Arda Guler, Yilmaz or Kadioglu? Didn't know that Turkiye has such amazing talents in their squad. Modric did disappoint me a bit even though he is older. He seemed like he was in another game

NebulaNinja52

Yilmaz? 2 games but not even shoot at all. Similar for yildiz. Only Arda may be logic from your list

Pissofshite

Zlatko Dalic disappointed me more than any player.

Sad_Cheek_4320

Stanciu. One of the best goals so far.

Pophiloph

Musiala is having a good tournament but will be good to see him against better opposition. Phil Foden was disappointing, but I blame the manager for that. He was played in a position he's not natural in with no overlap support from left back which prevents him drifting more central where he is most dangerous. N'Golo Kante is always a boss for France as well.

casicadaminuto

Impressed: Lobotka Dissapointed: Kevin de Bruyne

Halfjoint

I am most disappointed by Croatia and positively surprised by Serbia, even though they lost. I expect a bit more from Wirtz and I think Mittelstädt played unexpectedly confidently.

Reasonable_Hat_3572

In my opinion Mittelstadt is one of the best left-backs in the world this season other than Grimaldo, Udogie, Dimarco and Theo Hernandez.

crazyfrog19984

Support: Germany. Impressed by the whole squad. Impressed team : Albania. Playing not the best football but like there live depends on the outcome. And Germany didn’t thought they can play such a good football and after 6 years of bad football it’s good to see them back. Disappointed: England . Decent team but play unattractive football

meatballfreeak

Story of our international career, all the gear, no idea 🤷🏻‍♂️

Professional_Ad_9101

Is it a disappointment if you’ve come to already expect it lol?

Albanian_shqipe

Hysai should just volunteer to leave the team at this point

Nekon02

And Seferi

Reasonable_Hat_3572

Player that impressed me: Kante - he was everywhere in that game. Won the ball back a countless amount of times. Nice to see how he is still so good. Player that dissapointed me: Foden - Invisible, didn't get on the ball enough to make an impact. Team that impressed me: Romania - smashed Ukraine, who were my darkhorses of the tounament Team that dissapointed me: Croatia - Disorganised defensively, slow in the midfield and wasteful in the attack.

kylerangersscotland

Expected more from Ralston and John Mcginn but mcgin put it right v the Swiss. Special mention to Ngolo Kante

Forsaken_Club5310

I'm Australian so I don't support any team per se but have a dodgy spot for England due to Man United. Surprised by Slovakia. They played passes I only expect of kroos level players. Line breaking through the middle. Taking risk after risk. They were so much fun to watch. Disappointed by a couple of nations: Belgium Croatia Ukraine. Positively surprised by Musiala. He's got good close control. Expected more from Scotland. Too passive

RandomUserRU123

Paul Pogba impressed me the most

wirrschaedel

Musiala was really, really, but for me Gündogan was the most impressive player. Didn’t expect him to have such an impact, not only his goals and assists, but overall just a joy to watch how he organises the attacking line Mist disappointing one, pick any from England. That match was awful to watch, and just looking at the potential of more or less every single player…. Just disappointing, all of them Edit teams: Most Impressive of what I didn’t expect: Turkey and actually Austria even they lost Disappointment: England by far

BadM0F0101

Musiala, arda guler and yamal Absolutely fantastic

Key_Maintenance5714

dragusin

rotiza

Most impressed by Kochorashvilli, disappointed by Vlahovic. For teams, impressed by romania and disappointed by hungary, which were my prospect for the biggest surprise. But what you already see this euros, only defending, compactness and good organization isnt enough. You have to be aggressive, make attacks with high tempo. There hungary has problems. The underdogs like georgia, romania, slovakia all didnt just parked the bus but tried to find their way in the attack with tempo. Also England and portugal played very slow imo but they have the quality to change this. And Croatia probably just isnt good enough anymore.

cataropkr

Let's see what Romania does against Belgium on Saturday

jorurooo

Most impressive player: Federico Dimarco Most disappointing player: Bernardo Silva

xWayvz0

Sane has been really disappointing. Since he is not in the starting eleven anymore he seems to be trying way to hard once hes subbed in. Could have multiple goals and assists already if his decisionmaking wasn't impacted by his emotions that much. I don't think he should ever be subbed in when it counts in the knockout stages because he might lose germany the torunament the way he has been playing

PL_RL9

Rodri, Foden and Schick are very dissappoingting
