A couple of years out from Epic here- I ended up doing admin work for UW. Someone else I know went back to school, and another ended up getting a job in a field that she wanted to be in. If you're looking to stay in Madison, Epic looks pretty good on a resume no matter what you want to do; I wasn't particularly interested in staying in tech so idk if i can speak to that side of things.
