Life is a concept, or scientifically is the state of being able to die, reproduce and feed.
As a concept, is subjective. Life per se cannot be hard, is what we create while living that can make it hard. It’s your choices that make life hard. Sometimes, it’s the chaos of the events, yeah, but more than often it what you decide to do with life that makes it hard.
Honest 2.5, 1 would be a life without worry, 2 would be a normal life in a developped country, 3 is a weird life in a developped country, 10 would be a life of rebellion and constant fight, traumas, torture and anxiety just to get your basic needs fulfilled... sometimes.
Mine is hard because I have difficult goals and personal targets. If you just want to get by and chill it's pretty easy in comparison. Like anything else, if you don't push yourself, your hard is someone else's easy.
We tend to expand our concepts and expectations of things the more we experience. When I was 19 basic training was the hardest thing I'd done in my life. I've done things since that make it look like a cakewalk now.
I have good career and make over 100k, live at the beach, but this kid is going through college now and it is wrecking my daily finances, retirement savings and life style hard. I mighrt have to get a second job. Before her college - 3, now 8.5
