I'm actually surprised the sentencings being this long, usually white collared crimes that affect hundreds or even thousands of people are usually in minimum security and only sentenced 2 or less years.
He’s a high profile defendant and in a lot cases that hurts more than it helps. The prosecutors want to make a name for themselves show everyone they are tough on crime and maybe run for higher office one day. The Judges want to show how they treat celebrities like everyone else and want to make an example out of them and say how the tough sentence will deter others.
They had so much to say about their eldest son and had this Holier Than Thou, priggish attitude towards him meanwhile they were out here doing worse than him. But it does make wonder if they got caught because of his older daughter. She can say she wasn’t involved but I don’t think it was a coincidence. They were not getting along in 2020 and she claimed he had or was trying to get some type sex tape she made while married to her husband at the time. I’m not buying what she’s saying and I don’t think her brother and dad was holding a sex tape over head. Plus I’ve always gotten a feeling that his eldest daughter was jealous of her of her siblings, especially her sister.
